My Dh bought me the dress and tea cart for Valentine's Day. I had Cécile in mind the moment I saw this dress. It was love at first sight. Lol! I love the bow headband. It's the type of material that you can move around and it just stays. They could have made the headband part bigger it was very difficult to get on.
Very delicate bell type sleeves. The mint green is very pretty with a blue/pink pattern. Lovely.

Can't beat MsNotorious's review. I do love this dress. Bought it as soon as I could. As shown by the above reviews, Samantha isn't the only contender for it. It one of those special AG outfits that looks great on everyone. It also makes for a lovely modern dress, much like the Laura Ashley dresses.
The green/pink combo is luscious. The shade of pink for the ribbons is just right. Head band a bit tight. Comes a bit wrinkled as does the dress, but a bit of steam always fixes that. Maybe a bit short for Samantha, but really it works, I think. Love the big bows. The stockings are a pretty soft white and nice texture. The shoes are an A+++. They are just right for Samantha's new Meet outfit as shown on the book cover. I was disappointed that the actual shoes were black MaryJanes when I bought that meet outfit and am delighted to now have shoes to go with that dress too.
I give this outfit an A+. It already is an all time AG favorite, and I'm delighted that the BF fare has such an outfit.

I love this outfit. I bought for my 1905 Grace and it does no disappoint at all. The dress is a minty green that to me is more on the bluer side, with a nice flowery pattern. I really love these springy colors. They bring out the blue eyes and rosy cheeks of my doll and are naturally fresh and cheery. The front bodice is pleated, as well as the sash. Collar, skirt hem and bell sleeves are trimmed with two rows of pretty white lace and the sleeves' end is trimmed with a narrower little white gallon. I will probably have to tack the sash so that it covers the skirt's gathers on the front. It is tied in the back in a nice big bow. I like that the skirt "fluffs" out with just enough generosity, and that it is possible to arrange the bodice to make it more pooffy in the 1905 way, if wanted. I haven't ironed the dress on these pictures because I was too impatient, but it doesn't seem like it would be very difficult to make the pleated bodice and the bow fall perfectly with a little steam. A+.The headband can be posed as cascading petals, like I did here, or like a classic bow. It has a little elastic in the back, but not centered, so you'll have to angle to bow to hide the elastic portion under your doll's hair. As others have said, it is a little too tight. As a human, I put my whole head into a headband, then takes off the length of my hair and then put the head band back on the the hair is trapped under. It was hard to do on Grace, even with her short side bangs, so I'm guessing it would be even harder en Samantha. I am also not convinced that in 1904, this would have been a headband, and think I would have preferred to have just the bow on a clip. Still, it is pretty and I like that you can position it in a slightly more original manner than a traditional bow. it is made with the same pink ribbon material as the dress's sash. BThe shoes are darling, with cute little bows and velcro hidden under the straps. They were easy to put on, my doll can stand well in them. They bring a new color to the outfit, so make the darker part of the flowers on the dress's fabric pop and add interest instead of being too matchy-matchy. AThe tights are white and very simple. These are my frist AG tights so I don't have any comparison point. I was very glad that they fit well, going up almost to her waist. They will be useful with a variety of outfits, which is great. A

I'm so glad I bought this when it was part of AG's big spring sale! This is the nicest outfit they've made for BeForever Samantha yet. I believe it's also the first green outfit Samantha's ever had. The colors are soft and pretty, wonderful for spring. I'm with Jamirae on the shoes. They're too cute. They also fit my 1993 Samantha perfectly over the basic but thick white stockings. The dress fits her perfectly as well. There's even room for the petticoat from her Lacy Whites under the skirt.
My only big complaint is that headband. While the ruffled ribbon is unique, it's a pain in the rear to get on Samantha's head. I agree that the ribbon should have been on a clip, or they should have sacrificed historical accuracy and made the whole headband stretchy.
Other than the headband, this is a really gorgeous outfit, and one of the few in the current Samantha collection that fits and looks good on all dolls. Highly recommended.

This is what I expect from AG.
The Dress: Every thing about this dress is perfect. The fabric is soft and substantial. The color is a pistachio green. The floral pattern is a good and realistic scale. The floral varies in rose color. The dress has very tight gathers that look perfectly made. The tucks are continued to the skirt. The wide rose ribbon is placed at the hip level. A very nice detail. The flare of the sleeves is pretty. The sewn trim looks like tatting. The white lace overall makes this dress very 1904. The fit is very nice on my doll. I think it's a classic look.
The Hairbow: I love the bow features in this article. It can be a double bow or a waterfall bow. It matches everything in the dress. The attention to detail is wonderful.
The Shoes and Tights: The tights are on pare with AG. The shoes are not what I expected or wanted. I do like them, they are beautiful, but I exchanged these for a pair of white button boots. A much better look. Overall Grade: AAA

I love the details of this outfit. It's is prettier in person than online or in the catalog. The colors are beautiful together and makes me long for spring.
The sleeves flip up a little at the elbows, which gives them depth. They also have this beautiful detail on the edges- a loopy kind of lace.
The shoes are perfect. The color is bright and shiny and the bows make them fun.
I love the bow in the back. It kind of has shimmery different pinks in it.
The tights are just tights and I haven't really checked out the hairbow yet. The outfit looks adorable with the hat from the coat set. I give it an A just because (as always!) the price is a little high.

Here is the dress next to Molly's Victory Garden Dress. It's a bit more blue toned but similar. The length is just about right too. It could use an extra tuck and ruffle at the bottom to make it a smidge longer.

I bought it for Rebecca, too. It looks very sweet on her. I really like the outfit and even though I paid full price, I'm very happy with it.

I love the colors in this set! Everything is great. The bows are shapable and the dress has cute details. It fits well and I thought I got my money's worth.

Ive added my recent pic of Sam in this dress since she is one, a 90s Sam. And two, she is wearing her Lacy Whites skirt under this (i have it peeking out just a touch). Because of the boatneck cut, her Lacy Whites top won't work, but you can see how the skirt does help fill out the dress. I really recommend this dress out of most of Sam's BF wardrobe. Most of it is SO pink! But this has a nice Spring/Summer touch, and the design is consistent with her era which I REALLY love.

A friend has this. It really is a lovely dress. The color is beautiful and looks really nice on Nellie. It was the only BF dress I had considered for myself. The big bow in the back and the hairband are very pretty. The shoes are a nice color also.
