Released in 2017, retired in 2019.Kit's Aunt Millie recycles everything - she would appreciate making socks into a monkey. Includes a felt stocking with a sock monkey.I didn't see a review thread for this, so I figured it was time to make one... Sock Monkey - AMy sister hates sock monkeys, so I had to get this for that reason alone. Joking aside, it’s a cute, fairly standard toy. I could do without the HUGE tag. It's appropriately sized to Kit. Stocking – A-I honestly don’t care for the kind of cheap-feeling felt material. The embroidered design is nice and I like that Kit’s name looks hand-written. Again, it has a big, stupid tag. It’s fine, but not incredible. The sock monkey fits inside nicely and looks pretty cute. Good Value?Honestly? I’m not sure it’s worth the $20 I paid. The sock monkey is nice, but the stocking feels a bit cheap. I only jumped on it because the BeForever line was being phased out and I didn’t want to miss it, otherwise I might have waited for a sale or coupon. Overall - A-Since I don’t have Kit’s Amelia Earhart doll, I like this set as a Christmas gift for her. The sock monkey is very cute and is sized to be a satisfying gift for Kit. The stocking leaves something to be desired – I wish it was just a bit thicker and made out of a nicer, maybe less-stiff material. Maybe it’s period authentic? I don’t know. Kit looks happy, at any rate, and I’m pleased to have a gift for her.
