This set was first available in conjunction with a book signing on July 26th, 2023, and officially became available on August 2nd.
From favorite traditions to special surprises, Claudie delights in the joys of Christmas. Features: A plush Velveteen Rabbit and a doll-sized The Velveteen Rabbit storybook—a gift Claudie might have spied in the window of Hart and Company, Inc., and hoped to unwrap on Christmas morning A metal cookie tin that holds three pretend Christmas cookies with fruit filling—a special holiday treat from Angelo’s Bakery A pretend handwritten postcard from Claudie to her grandmother in Georgia A working yo-yo (known as a quiz in Claudie’s time) that was a Christmas gift from Mama
These worth the price and why I fell in love with Pleasant Company. Reproduction mini antiques! (For the most part, in this set). The accessories so cute and tiny. The tiny bunny feels soft and velvety. His tag needs to be cut off because it is WAY too long and ridiculous. The paperback book includes illustrations. The tin is metal with a floral art nouveauish design. The cookies are HUGE and plastic. They barely fit in the tin. The little Christmas card is from Claudie to her grandma in Georgia sending snow from Harlem. The yoyo is big and heavy. My mom asked how she could hold that because it's so big! It comes with a pamphlet that tells a story just like the Pleasant Co. pamphlets!
Pictures coming soon

20230811_162005 by Elizabeth, on Flickr This is the quality you'd expect from AG. It's not quite PC, but it's close. The cookies are a bit too big, but they're not as bad a Maryellen's Christmas cookies.

Molly's yo-yo in her PC stocking was real wood. 20230811_162513 by Elizabeth, on Flickr 20230811_162522 by Elizabeth, on Flickr 20230811_162618 by Elizabeth, on Flickr 20230811_162627 by Elizabeth, on Flickr 20230811_162650 by Elizabeth, on Flickr 20230811_162736 by Elizabeth, on Flickr 20230811_162828 by Elizabeth, on Flickr 20230811_162846 by Elizabeth, on Flickr 20230811_162855 by Elizabeth, on Flickr 20230811_162917 by Elizabeth, on Flickr

I just received this set yesterday, and it's delightful! The cookies look too much like play food for my preference, but everything else is adorable. I love the little tin, and the plastic yo-yo has a nice wood grain texture;it's surprisingly heavy. My favourite pieces are the bunny and the Velveteen Rabbit book, which has the whole story! ❤️ 5/5 stars

I adore this set! The real metal used for the tin, the plush Velveteen rabbit (cutting the tag off mine, too), the paperback book. With the yo-yo, I had to look at it for a few seconds to figure out whether it was plastic or wood - it's plastic, but heavy-duty and nice. I think the cookies are recycled from another set - I'm pretty sure I've seen them - but I don't know which set they came from. They have a nice feel to them. Grade A for the entire set.
So AG is partly hanging on to its "real metal, real wood, etc." pledge. It made me all the more upset that Claudie's travel accessories were so plasticky. I would have paid $10 more for a suitcase of faux leather.
