Celebrate birthdays—or any special day—with this set that looks just like the Café at an American Girl store.
Premium features:
A decorative sign that has “Café” molded into the top, a clear plastic sleeve that holds a printed sign card featuring menu items, and a pink apron with an American Girl logo on the front.

Finally was able to snag this on the Black Friday sale in 2023 for 46% off! Well worth the sale price (even if there is a surcharge for shipping because it's HUGE)!
The Cafe itself is wooden with real vinyl covered seats. Very heavy! The cafe booth is 14" x 14". I had a bit of trouble getting the dolls to sit on the benches because it's quite narrow. And trying to get two sets of legs underneath the table at the same time is also challenging! The table itself has a metal base and a wooden top.
The doll-sized napkins with the doll sized hair tie is adorable! The plates & drinks are plastic, but the forks are metal. The little menus actually have the foods that are served at the AG Cafe!
The vase/pot for the flowers is plastic and the flowers are individual so can be rearranged. The Table Talkers box is sturdy, thick cardboard and the Table Talkers (conversation starters) themselves are some of the actual ones you would find at the AG Cafe! There is a menu holder on the backside of the booth that can hold both the printed sheet of what's on the menu as well as the two folded menus.
The best parts of the set (in my opinion) are the twee Treat Seat, mini doll-sized cup & saucer and of course the exclusive mini doll!!
Also included is a pamphlet about why Pleasant Rowland wanted to make an AG Cafe in the first place. Such a sweet story!
I would give this set an A (not a plus because its so difficult to get two dolls to sit and enjoy their lunch!) because of the great quality and many play pieces included. I'm very pleased to finally have this in my dolly world!
