I was less thrilled with this than I had expected. It's a cute outfit but I think the use of 'terry' fabric... even with sparkes!... is a bit odd. Maybe it's just me. And the slippers that came in my set are, I think, decidedly odd. The sparkle part is on the soles and the top of the slippers (the part that shows!) are plain. It's too far/too expensive/too fiddly to send it back for that, and you can't see the shoes under the dress (much) anyway. The wings are nicely done: And the halo/headband is pretty. I've put it in like an 'Alice' band though it could go the other way, too. I love the shape of the dress and especially the sleeves but I wish they had made it out of some other fabric... and the slippers are odd. Chrissa didn't want to put them on and she may have started a trend: my -costume-wearers will do so barefoot. I'd give this one a C cause it's cute still.

I thought this outfit was very pretty in person and knew I had to have it for my Elizabeth.
I wanted to mention that this dress is long, slightly past the foot/to the bottom of the foot. I think that is fantastic since IMO AG has been a bit skimpy on length for some time now.

I knew I had to get this dress the minute I saw it because I am a bit obsessed with s - so the AG/angel combination was a must! Dress - The fabric is very sparkly and I love the sleeves. The gathering makes them look slightly vintage or even medieval, which reminds me of the "classic" image of s that evolved through paintings. The fabric is just downright weird. It looks nice from a distance but I was slightly disappointed AG would use a terry fabric for a costume, especially one that is supposed to be a fancy dress. Unless it's supposed to look like the doll made it out of (albeit sparkly) towels, I thought it made the outfit look... cheap? Not planned out? Project Runway project gone wrong? The fabric is very soft though and I thought it would at least be comfortable. The wings were made out of a surprisingly durable material. I was hoping they wouldn't be connected to the dress simply for storage purposes (and of course, mix and match!), but I really like them and was surprised. I'll give the dress a solid B- because I think the dress looks pretty, love the wings, but am weirded out by the fabric choice. Shoes - I don't get the shoes because if you are going trick-or-treating (for a Halloween costume) or performing in a Christmas play, you need shoes you could actually walk around in and get dirty - not these all-white slippers! Still, they feel like they would be very comfortable, fit well and stay on the doll's feet. Grade: BHeadband - Made of sheer sparkly white ribbon. I like the bows coming down off the side. It fits around the doll's head perfectly though if you want your doll to wear it as a "halo" it's a bit hard to put on without messing up her hair (and looks weird over bangs), and honestly I would've liked one of those cheap costume halos just for the kitsch factor. It also looks great worn as a normal headband. IMO this is the most detailed part of the outfit, and my favorite part. Grade: A-Overall Grade: BOn Sam: On Bonnie, #16: Headband Mix-and-Match (on Sam)

This outfit is very pretty. It's sparkly and just perfect for Winter holidays as well as Halloween. It does have a few drawbacks. The headband slides off a lot, and long doll hair gets in the way of the wings, so I think it works better for dolls with shorter hair. I never noticed until recently, but the white that outlines the edges and feather shapes of the wings is covered in a light sprinkling of iridescent glitter. This is a nice, subtle touch to add a little something to the outfit. I like this outfit despite the few drawbacks.

I got this outfit when I was younger for Chrissa, to match with my costume on Halloween. The dress is very beautiful. It's sparky, and is very well detailed. The thing that bothers me is how the wings are attached to the back of the dress. They can look lumpy, and a little cheap. The sleeves are my favorite part. They are gathered at the bottom of the elbow. The material on the sleeves looks a little cheap, but it's still perfect, like the day I got it. The headband is just a ribbon. It is a little cheap, but still completes the look. The shoes are like slippers. They don't seem very practical for anything, besides wearing to bed. This gets an A- from me.
