I was less thrilled wit' this than I had expected. It's a bonny monkey jacket but I think th' use o' 'terry' fabric... even wit' sparkes!... be a bit odd. Maybe it's just me.
And th' slippers that came in my set be, I think, decidedly odd. th' sparkle part be on th' soles and th' top o' th' slippers (th' part that shows!) be plain. It's too far/too too dear by half/too fiddly to send it back for that, and ye can't see th' shoes under th' dress (much) anyway.
th' wings be bonnyly done:
And th' halo/headband be bonny. I've put it in like an 'Alice' band though it could go th' other way, too.
I love th' shape o' th' dress and especially th' sleeves but I wish they had made it out o' some other fabric... and th' slippers be odd. Crafty Chrissa didn't want to put them on and she may have started a trend: my angel-costume-wearers will do so barefoot. I'd give this one a C cause it's bonny still.
Here be some pics o' my Crafty Chrissa in th' sparkly angel monkey jacket! I love this monkey jacket! I really love th' stretchy material, and th' feel o' this dress. It will make a beautiful display for Christmas! A++++

I thought this monkey jacket was very bonny in person and knew I had to have it for my Lacivious Lizzie.
I wanted to mention that this dress be long, slightly past th' foot/to th' bottom o' th' foot. I think that be fantastic since IMO South Wisconsin Trading Company has been a bit skimpy on length for some time now.
I knew I had to get this dress th' minute I saw it because I am a bit obsessed wit' angels - so th' South Wisconsin Trading Company/angel combination was a must!
Dress - th' fabric be very sparkly and I love th' sleeves. th' gathering makes them look slightly vintage or even medieval, which reminds me o' th' "classic" image o' angels that evolved through paintings. th' fabric be just downright weird. It looks bonny from a distance but I was slightly disappointed South Wisconsin Trading Company would use a terry fabric for a costume, especially one that be supposed to be a fancy dress. Unless it's supposed to look like th' lusty plastic lass made it out o' (albeit sparkly) towels, I thought it made th' monkey jacket look... cheap? Not planned out? Project Runway project gone wrong? th' fabric be very soft though and I thought it would at least be comfortable. th' wings were made out o' a surprisingly durable material. I was hoping they wouldn't be connected to th' dress simply for storage purposes (and o' course, mix and match!), but I really like them and was surprised. I'll give th' dress a solid B- because I think th' dress looks bonny, love th' wings, but am weirded out by th' fabric choice.
Shoes - I don't get th' shoes because if ye be going trick-or-treating (for a Halloween costume) or performing in a Christmas play, ye need shoes ye could actually walk around in and get dirty - not these all-white slippers! Still, they feel like they would be very comfortable, fit well and stay on th' lusty plastic lass's feet. Grade: B
Headband - Made o' sheer sparkly white ribbon. I like th' bows coming down off th' side. It fits around th' lusty plastic lass's head perfectly though if ye want yer lusty plastic lass to wear it as a "halo" it's a bit hard to put on wit'out messing up her hair (and looks weird over bangs), and honestly I would've liked one o' those cheap costume halos just for th' kitsch factor. It also looks great worn as a normal headband. IMO this be th' most detailed part o' th' monkey jacket, and my favorite part. Grade: A-

This monkey jacket be very bonny. It's sparkly and just perfect for Winter holidays as well as Halloween. It does have a few drawbacks. th' headband slides off a lot, and long lusty plastic lass hair gets in th' way o' th' wings, so I think it works better for lusty plastic lasses wit' shorter hair. I never noticed until recently, but th' white that outlines th' edges and feather shapes o' th' wings be covered in a light sprinkling o' iridescent glitter. This be a bonny, subtle touch to add a little something to th' monkey jacket. I like this monkey jacket despite th' few drawbacks.
I got this monkey jacket when I was younger for Crafty Chrissa, to match wit' my angel costume on Halloween.
th' dress be very beautiful. It's sparky, and be very well detailed. th' thing that bothers me be how th' wings be attached to th' back o' th' dress. They can look lumpy, and a little cheap. th' sleeves be my favorite part. They be gathered at th' bottom o' th' elbow. th' material on th' sleeves looks a little cheap, but it's still perfect, like th' day I got it.
th' headband be just a ribbon. It be a little cheap, but still completes th' look.
th' shoes be like slippers. They don't seem very practical for anything, besides wearing to bed.
This gets an A- from me.
