Here are Lanie's accessories. It comes with a green and blue messenger bag with a zipper top, small pouch and velcro flap closer. It fits snuggly over Lanie's head so she can wear it criss-cross over her shoulder/body. It has two postcards; one with a monkey from Dakota and one from Costa Rica from Aunt Hannah with a beach scene. There's an envelope and letter from Lanie's friend Dakota. The laptop comes with three computer screens; Home Garden screen with instructions on how to grow a vegetable garden, an email on a new baby orang from Dakota and a screen about the Birds of Massachusetts. These screens are clings to put on the screens. The buttons of the laptop do push down like a calculator. Overall I'd give it a A-/ B+ Laptop - the buttons are a lot like a calculator - I don't know why they didn't make it one. Dakota's letter - Bunny - ok she doesn't have a name, the leash doesn't come off and only a few of Lanie's fingers fit inside the leash. However she is super soft and sweet!

As outrageous as the prices are lately, I think you get a lot (by AG standards) for what you pay for. Bag, laptop with 3 screens, bracelet, bunny, postcards and letter. The bag is a tight fit for the laptop and a little hard to get it to stay on Lanies' arm without putting it over her head. I think the strap needs to be longer. The dragonfly's tail is starting to fray. The laptop screens "cling" to it. The keys do nothing. It doesn't turn on and off as past computers AG has offered. The bracelet can be adjusted to fit over different outfits. The bunny. Well, its a stuffed bunny with a leash. Postcards and letter, tiny and cute. I give it an A overall. I exchanged the first set I bought because the hinge on the laptop was broken. If you can, inspect before buying.

Tinalala, the bunny's name is Lulu (in the book). On the computer screens, I thought they were static clings? Does the paper backing come off, so they 'stick' to the computer.

The laptop screens come off their paper backing and cling to the laptop.
PS, the "Lanie" can be removed from the bag. It took me a while today, but it left minimal damage. Had I been more patient I think it could have come off with no damage at all.
PPS. The bracelet is large enough to fit on my Sonali OVER the wilderness outfit's shirt.

Just a clarification question -- does the laptop fit in the bag? Is it a tight fit? Thanks for all the info/pics!

The laptop fits into the bag easily. There isn't a lot more room, but it is easy to get the laptop in. You can fit the screens in with the laptop and Lanie's letters and postcards can fit in a front pocket.

I modified my first post to say the screens were clings.
About Lulu - it just that she didn't come with a collar and a name tag like say Coconut or Licorice.
DD10 did get the leash off of Lulu, but it took some squishing.

What type of paper are the laptop screen clings? I want to make different ones specific to my custom character.
The dragonflies on the computer itself, are they stickers or painted? Are they on the outside of the clear plastic or inside?

The laptop accessories are really cute. The clings come off of their paper backing and stick to the screen, or 'cling' there. The bunny is cute, but the leash is on to stay- I don't see myself using the bunny that much except for scenes, etc. The laptop does fit snug into the bag, but I liked the quality of the bag very much, and also the letter and envelope fit into the bag too. I do not have Lanie yet but will probably buy another set because it would be cute to have the dolls working on their computers in a classroom/library scene.
This set works well with other dolls such as MSD-sized ball jointed dolls, I can take pics of my bjd with the laptop, which she is busily blogging on now..lol.
I agree on one thing- in previous years they made the mini laptops as calculators, but it is a very realistic prop and I would buy it again- A for quality and price.

Moni, I think the laptop clings are some sort of thin, soft plastic. The dragonflies on the laptop are painted on as best I can tell. They're on the outside, on the clear casing.
I haven't taken photos yet but Lanie's accessories are pretty cute and you do get quite a few things for the price.
The laptop bag is quite sturdy. It's a close fit but not a struggle to get laptop, letters and clings in (laptop in the zippered compartment and I put the other bits in the pocket). It sits nicely on Lanie's shoulder... I haven't tried to put her head through the strap so it sits across her chest yet but it's reassuring to know it can be done.
After the mini Macintosh you could turn on, and Lindsey's little hinting-at-iBook-ness laptop that can be an address book, Lanie's laptop is a tiny, tiny bit disappointing in that it is just moulded plastic.
Having said that, it's quite detailed moulded plastic and looks pretty realistic even though it doesn't do anything except open and fold shut. The keys on mine don't press down at all... there's no 'give' whatsoever. I think the clings were a brilliant idea that could have been executed better: I am picky about details and the one thing that bugs me about the clings is that they don't fill the grey part of the screen, so there's a noticeable grey border when you put them on, that (to me) makes them look less realistic. Because they 'cling' I found it hard to center them so that the grey showing is at least even all around.
I adore the little postcards and the airmail letter. I LOVE that kind of detail.
Lulu is cute. Her cotton whiskers are really long and they droop, reminding me of a certain kind of moustache, lol. I think I could get the harness off if I wanted to. Haven't wanted to, yet.
Lanie's bracelet is adjustable. My fingers got in the way when I was trying to fasten it on, but I daresay a child's would not, being smaller and probably nimbler. I like doll jewellery in general and this is kinda 'trendy' and pretty neat.
Overall I give the whole set a B+. You do get quite a few things, but I would have happily paid more for a laptop that you could turn on (even if it was just a backlight to make the screens look more 'real' and I would have liked the clings to cover the grey completely. It's been a long time since I saw a computer screen with a border at the screen's edges.
Photos to come.

Without adding to the great descriptions I will say my girls love this set and we will be getting another. Lulu's leash was pretty easy to get off because Lily says it was choking her and she didn't like it. The bracelet actually fits as a collar we found out.
The laptop has gotten all kinds of use this past week. We will be making more clings for the computer. I happen to have some window cling sheets used for business advertising that you print yourself.
A+ for our girls (ages 4 and 6)

I just got these today. They are supposedly on backorder until Dec 10th, but they showed up today. The laptop and bag are super cute, though it would be nicer if it had an actual screen and not clings. Lulu the bunny is also super cute and soft. I love Lanie's bracelet. The letters are fine, but nothing paper lasts long in my house. I give it an A-.

Everything about this set is AMAZINGLY DETAILED!!! The only problem I have with it is the price. I think it should have been around $28.

Extra laptop pictures: The dragonflies are my favorite part. I don't have Lanie so having her name on the bag was a downside to me. You can put the clings in the side pocket of the bag and the laptop in the zippered part. I bought the accessories set to keep just the laptop bits but decided to get the Apple Compact (looks just like a shiny silver MacBook with awesomely detailed keys, ports, etc. and a mirror for the screen) instead.

This is a nice set. The bag is really very sturdy and realistic. The embroidery is really cute, though it may detract from using this set for dolls other than Lanie. But this set belongs to my Lanie, so having her name on the bag is not a problem for me. The laptop is a neat little gadget. It's nonfunctional, but the cling-on screens are fun to play with. The letters and postcards are really quite cute. I enjoy them as part of this set. Lanie's bunny, Lulu, is adorable. I like that her leash matches most of Lanie's outfits. The bracelet is awesome, and looks great with Lanie's meet outfit. A+ for the whole set.

I love this set. The bag/laptop cover has to be my favorite part. It is amazingly detailed, and looks realistic. I think the dragonfly is really cute, but I have to flip it to the other side when I'm not using it for Lanie. It's well made and the fabric is just like real bags like this. A+. The laptop is very nice, and gets a lot of use. It donesn't turn on, but the screen clings are easy to put on and do not fall off in use. I love the little keyboard and how real it looks. A, just because it would of been nice if it could turn on. Lulu is so sweet. She's very well detailed. She comes with an orange leash attached, so Lanie can walk her, just like she does in her stories. She's so soft. A+. The letters make a nice touch, but they seem like they can be easily lost or ripped. A-. The bracelet is so cute on Lanie. It's well detailed and made. The only thing that bugs me was that it should of came with the Lanie doll, like Chrissa's did, not of been thrown in the accessories. A-. This is one of AG's most detailed sets yet! I'm giving it an A all together.

Glad to see things now that I didn't in the past. This is a well made and cute set. The bunny is absolutely precious. I like it so much better than Julie's. The bracelet is adorable.
