I don't have this set, but my friend received it for her birthday last year when she visited AGPLA. The campfire is just like Kaya's in appearance, and there is a switch on the bottom to light the "fire". The insides of the logs are also painted pinky-orange to further enhance the illusion of fire. There are three buttons on the side (or just one: I can't remember) that play campfire songs. The sticks have marshmallows molded on to them, and are plastic. The chocolate bar set is plastic, while the Graham cracker box is cardboard. The two pre-made smores are plastic, and the crackers have some sort of weird, almost-green tint.

I love this set! I ordered the smores and marshmallow sticks as replacement parts, since I already had the fire from Kaya's teepee. I'm at work right now, but I'd be happy to take some photos of the pieces I have and write an actual review.
I think the set is fully worth it as replacement parts, but I find the price to be pretty steep for the whole set.

Yes, there are voices singing that sound like children. Songs like "I've been workin on the railroad", "O'Suzanna", "the bear went over the mountain". It's really cute. It has two separate buttons for the light and for the music so you can use one without the other.

We really like the campfire, but the songs are creepy in my opinion. I just don't get the necessity of that level of direction in play. Are the dolls suppose to be singing? Why wouldn't the real girls just make them sing while they are playing?
Anyway, we rarely use the music part of the item, but the fire is great.

I just use the fire part of the campfire but my DGC play the music part of it all the time when they visit and they enjoy singing with it.

This set contains a campfire, 2 sticks with marshmallows, a box of crackers, a packet of chocolate bars and 2 smores, I got it secondhand. This set has long been one of my great regrets. I was at AGP with a friend and just as I reached out my hand to pick it up and buy it, she started in on what a rip off the set was. Needless to say I didn't get it then, planning to order it when I got home, but then it vanished right after that and I missed it (and I was too late when I saw it on the board as well). Long have I been sad. I finally got it on eBay, and while I didn't technically overpay, I will likely never admit how much I did pay.
The campfire is my favourite part, it looks wonderfully realistic (to a girl who does not camp). The rocks are textured and painted to look like real rocks as are the logs. There are three orange lights and one flickering yellow one to look like real fire. It plays clips of 4 different songs, mentioned already. I don't find the singing creepy and I think it would be fun for a kid to sing along with. It takes 3 AA batteries and there is an on/off switch on the bottom and two buttons on the side, one for the lights and one for the music.
There are 2 sticks with 2 marshmallows each. They are all plastic and do look it, and the dolls cannot hold them without help. For all that, I really do like them.
The box of crackers is a cardboard box with printing on it, mine is filled with heavy cardboard sheets. I know this because the previous owner opened the box, probably because it felt like there were crackers in it. I like that it is filled with something so the box isn't easily crushed. The packet of chocolate bars is just a little bit of white cardboard with 3 chocolate bar packets glued into it. They aren't spectacular, but one needs chocolate to make smores.
And finally are the 2 smores. I love them, the crackers look completely real and mine don't have an odd green tint. Tasty chocolate and melty marshmallow and sized nicely for the doll to hold.
I really love this set and I am very happy that I was able to get it at a price that I could live with after foolishly delaying buying it before. A+

I love this set too, and am really happy to have it. The pieces are really cute, and there are so many ways to use it. I would definitely give it an A+, and love the pictures you can make with it!

Thia looks like such a cute set. I would be perfect for a summer beach scene or in the fall. I love the fire lights up.
