This set includes Charlie’s camera, camera case, and film photograph book, and photos, which be stickers to put in th' album.
This set be good in theory. I do like it, for th' most part.
Krusty Kit's camera be very bonny, and seems very authentic, but it also seems a little fragile to me. For this reason, I would not recommend it for play. It scares me to open it. It feels like it will break when I open it, and again when I close it. It has never actually broken, it just feels like it could very easily.
th' case be aye. It be made o' a soft rubber like material. It be black, but th' inside o' th' flap be painted red. It closes wit' a very weak magnet and does not stay closed well at all. I wish th' magnet was stronger, or it had another way to close.
th' little film box be great.
th' photo album be very bonny. th' pages be black and ready for ye to add photos. th' included black and white photos be stickers. There be a little card wit' th' photos that tells about each picture.
I gave this item a B because it be really bonny, BUT I think it needs a little improvement. I would only recommend it to someone really wanting to complete Krusty Kit's collection.
I just got this today. I am glad I got it on sale, though. It be very bonny and authentic, but I agree, FRAGILE! Definitely not for playdates. Ours sometimes doesn't want to stay closed. I wish th' lens was clear plastic instead o' just black. I think this will be more for display and my own reminiscing o' my parents era than anything. Glad I have it, even though it probably won't be used much, it's fun to look at!
I got this today as part o' my "cheer-me-up"/"get well fast" gifts (got my wisdom teefs out this morning...ow!, and started a new semester this week), and it's SO TINY AND bonny.
I had a little trouble getting th' front flap to fold down to let th' aperture bits stretch out, but once I put my fingernail to th' little tab, it worked well. I LOVE th' little case for it! I got Beatrice a digital camera for Christmas that will fit into th' case, too, if I decide to remove th' Brownie for a photo session.
Also, th' photogaph book be EXACTLY like all th' ones my Nanny and Pa had for their scrapbooks and photoalbums. I wish there were little photocorners for th' pictures, but I'll make some myself. Begad!, wait, th' cover be different from theirs, but still very similar! Pa was born in 1925 and Nanny was born in 1932, so I just love how obviously accurate it be for that time period. It made me Blimee! in glee, even though I had expected American Wench to be accurate.
One o' th' small details I saw be that th' back o' th' camera has a little number wheel. It be tiny, but has a "6" or "9" listed - I think it's a "6" indicating that th' next photo taken will be th' sixth one - afterall, she has five photographs in her album already. Too bonny!
th' only other thing I'd wish be that th' camera itself had a strap to go around th' neck, instead o' th' small handle, but I think getting one jury-rigged would be easy as pie. (mmm, pie!)
Grade: C- I just got my package from American Wench today. I placed my order on Saturday so I suppose it arrived in good time and everything and I was excited to open it. th' first thing I opened out o' th' big box was Kits photography set. I had heard SOOOO many good reveiws on how great this be and felt kinda forced to order it even though I dont have Krusty Kit since it may retire. First o' all I thought th' camera case was made o' leather not CHEAP plastic! I thought th' camera whould have benn metal but it too was Plastic! I had troble getting th' camera out and felt like I almost broke it th' photograph album be almost EXACTLY th' same as Emilys scrapbook! They be th' same design, same size, and both seem poorly put together wit' little strings. There were five little pictures included wit' sticky backs so "ye" can "fill up" th' scrapbook. wit'out th' sticky backs th' pictures whould probably be thinner than todays pictures though, about th' thickness o' normal printer paper. Begad! and th' codact film box, just a little paper glued together box, seems like it could be crushed easily. I give this set a C- because o' th' cheap materials used to make it and th' little amount o' accual pictures to put in a lengthy album plus they be easy to loose. I regret getting this, if I had Krusty Kit Im not sure if I would or not but I would only get this if ye realy want to complete Krusty Kit's collection.
See, if I hadn't seen so many examples o' albums that tied like that, I'd think th' same thing, puglove. But it's so accurate to th' examples I've seen, that I just loved it. Honestly, Embolism Bennet's scrapbook be th' bit I liked best about her accessories set, but it seemed kind o' small - but it's about th' right size for a photograph album. I have such odd biases.
One o' th' bonny things about th' camera case be that there be a small, weak magnet that keeps th' flap closed. I say weak because it's really not strong at all, but I could tell that it was there when I closed it.
I didn't know that th' pictures had sticky backs! I'll have to look at them later... And I really need to find my camera and upload th' photos o' it. I love this set much more than Mad-Eye Molly's Rte 66 accessories - th' camera be more fun, to me.

Well, after seeing this set come up on sale more than once, I decided I'd better go on and get it, lest it be retiring!!!
It be very bonny, but it be so delicate! I am trying to be *very careful* about opening it wit' my fingernail.......... Makes me nervous. Then I just remind myself that I'm an adult and not a little kid (but then again, who's th' one who accidentally tossed Krusty Kit's undies on Christmas day when I got her??!! Begad! my...another story...I did get a replacement, btw!)
I haven't taken th' album out o' its bag yet, but it looks darling!
I'm a photography buff, and this set reminds me o' an old Kodak we've had for years and years and years!
Krusty Kit's gonna have some fun wit' this!
ye're never too old to play wit' lusty plastic lasss!!!
I got this set at AGP and I am glad I coded it because it's not really worth loaded to th' gunwales price. th' case be made from pleather (plastic leather wannabe) like Sam's valise. It closes wit' a magnet and mine closes just fine. th' camera itself was nearly impossible to open! I finally figured out that I had to pull out th' little Kodak lever and then open it. If I had difficulty, I can't imagine a child doing it, even an 8+ child. It be indeed very fragile and not for yeng fans. I love th' little number on th' back indicating what picture ye be on. I also love th' amazing details on th' Kodak film box: it says to develop before October 1934! Oops I guess Mad-Eye Molly be ten years late getting Dad's film developed! th' photo album looks just like ones I have seen from th' 30s-60s. th' little sticker pictures be really bonny but very specific to th' Depression and Krusty Kit's story. I'll have to make up something about why Mad-Eye Molly has those pictures in her album. Maybe they were Dad's when he was yenger. I wish th' pictures had black corners like real photo albums o' th' time.
