Emily wears this robe and slippers in the book Brave Emily. She also wears them in the movie Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front. Released in 2006, retired in 2013.Emily loves her fashionable chenille robe and fuzzy-wuzzy slippers. Includes trading cards.Emily's robe is made of a fuzzy fleece that feels so good to the touch. It's a light pink with white trim on the collar, cuffs, tie, and hem. There are also cute "squiggles" (loops) of the white fleece that go completely around the bottom of the robe's skirt. Very cute, if you ask me, and very snuggly. Like others, I tend to want to curl up with Emily whenever she is wearing this! The accompanying slippers are a fuzzy pink...fuzzier than Molly's and stay on Emily's feet with a little clear strap that many AG shoes have now. Grade: A

I love this set so much. It is soo soft. Human versions of this kind of material robe cost over 100 dollars. I reccomend it to everyone, even if you don't have Molly or Emily.

I just got this robe today and I love it so much. So soft and snuggly and the little slippers have clear bands so they will stay on your girl's feet. I only wish it came in my size.

I just picked up this set for my Anna to match Emily's pajamas. I was on the fence about this set since none of our other girls have a robe with slippers. I also didn't feel it was a "necessary" clothing item. I had this on my "wish" (maybe someday) list but upon seeing it in person, I just had to have it. This set is worth every penny in my opinion. The robe and the slippers are both very thick and incredibly soft. The quality is amazing and it looks fantastic on Anna with the pajamas. Very highly recommend.

I SO wish they made this robe in adult sizes! It's the fluffiest, softest robe I've ever felt. Don't even like pink but I'd wear it anyway, and it's adorable on this robe. The white loop decoration goes all the way around the bottom of the robe. Slippers are okay, they almost seem a tad too short and the doll's heel hangs off the back a little more than it should, but that's my only complaint. If you're like me you may balk at spending $50 for doll PJs and a bathrobe, but you really should spring for the set. They're so, so cute together and so cozy for Emily or modern dolls!

I want a robe just like this in my size, please! But seriously, this is one of my absolute favorite AG pieces. It is beautiful, thick, and sooooo soft. The slippers are adorable as well. This set is definitely worth the $24, in my opinion. DSC05036 by sharayahlynn, on Flickr

I got Emily's Robe & Slippers sometime around December 2011. I was worried about them being archived, and had just kept putting off getting them. Finally, I caved and got them.
Even though I was a reluctant purchaser at first, this is actually probably some of the best money I have ever spend on an AG outfit. Emily's robe is made of chenille, a fabric that would have been very popular during WW2. It coordinates well with her pajamas and is a flattering color on her. It is super fluffy and cozy-- something I would glady wear.
Here's a closer view at the top of her robe. The tie around her waist is also chenille. It is not quite long enough to tie a decent looking bow, so I usually put it in a half knot like in the picture. It really opens up around her neck and gets really fluffy, since there are two layers in that area, the white lining and the pink outside.
To add some fun details to it, there are white squiggles at the bottom. They are add some visual interest to the robe and prevent it from being "just" a pink robe. It was a nice little detail from AG.
Finally, Emily has her slippers! These are probably my favorite AG slippers. They beat Molly's hard blue slippers and those awkward red fuzzies! They are a normal pair of slippers, but super fluffy. They match Emily's robe. She can even stand up wearing them. These are slippers I would wear.
Overall, I would give this outfit an A+. It is worth the $24 I bought it for.

This chenille robe is so sweet. The white loop detail is a really nice touch. So soft and cuddly and looks wonderful on any doll.
