I love this dress! It fits so well and looks so cute. It could be mid 20th century or modern. It comes with a darling oval barrette. The socks feel like a cross between opaque tights and trouser socks. I wasn't sure I would like the flower, but it looks fine when the dress in on a doll. I don't have a single picture of someone in the dress, but here is a group shot that shows it better than in my siggy.

From the DC display at the end of September. I think this is one of those outfits that looks better if it's on a doll you love. I waffle on this one, personally. Originally I thought it was interesting and then the more I looked at it, the less I liked it. But I think Grammychris's photo makes it seem very cute. So... I'm no help at all. ;p

I was just looking at the AG stock photo and the one above from a store display posted by Impy. The skirt in the stock photo is pressed into soft folds. The skirt in the photo above has the skirt pressed into crisp pleats. Hmmm....mine is sort of in between.

We love this outfit - it's a great value. You get an adorable dress, socks, ballet flats, and a clip (much like Kit's) for less than $30 - almost unheard of in the MyAG line these days. I love the retro styling of the dress. Although my daughter and I both agree - it's really more of a dress-up outfit than a school outfit.
I don't have any pictures on hand, but it looks ADORABLE on #57, the one with the brunette Kit wig. Also, the stripes in the plaid are an EXACT match for the raspberry glasses.

I got mine for Christmas, and it has the sharp pleats, which is the way I like it. I acutally got it for Molly, even though it is a modern outfit. It goes will with the 40's and I should know---I was a little girl then. It is adorable, that really is more than a school outfit, I would think more of a church outfit or special occasion dress.
The quality is wonderful and the fit is perfect. The shoes and socks are easy to put on and complete the outfit. I give it an A+!

I like the style, reminded me of a 60's style. The color is nice, but a little dull and kinda washes out fair skinned dolls. It's not too difficult to get the shoes on over the socks, but it's hard to get them to look good and not bunch the socks to no end.
I really like the look with the sandals from Saige's Sweater Outfit.
