The material is nice and thick and doesn't seem to shed glitter, which I'm not usually a fan of. The dress is lined with a pink silk. The shoes are adorable, but since the dolls don't have posable knees, they don't stand up well in them at all. B (for the shoe fail)

This dress is rather pretty with its' sparkly fabric and pink trim and underskirt. The fabric is softer than I expected: it doesn't feel 'scratchy' as some glittery fabrics can.
I do not like the shoes that come with this outfit. Why, AG, do you insist on giving dolls whose knees do not bend, footwear with heels that they cannot stand up in without extremes of posture?! I also loathe the continued trend of elastic at the back of the shoes instead of a buckle (or even velcro closure under a fake buckle).
I'm glad I have this outfit, but I'm giving it a B because of extreme failure in the shoe department.
Dress: I love this dress. The sparkles are woven into it, which is a nice touch. Besides that, the quality is so-so. Only the skirt is lined. The box it came in is quite small, so the dress was wrinkly.
Shoes: Not a fan of the heels. McKenna is not able to stand up without the help of a doll stand, and even then, they just look bad. I hate the plastic bottom to it. Though I will admit that the sequin embelishment is cute.
Hair clip: I really liked this, and was suprised by how much hair can fit inside it! I used it with the included clear elastics.
Overall grade: B. I felt that for the quality and number of items included, at $28, it was overpriced.
This outfit was not in any of the illustrations in McKenna's books, but I think it will be used during the scene where McKenna and her friends eat dinner at the Space Needle restaurant to celebrate their accomplishments.

I'm going to give this outfit a B+. I love the dress- the color, the style, the fabric. It looks great on my girls! The hair clip is cute and very pretty. Mine holds a lot of hair, which is great. The shoes are adorable, but I would have preferred something a little different (maybe flats or just a shorter heel). As others have pointed out, the dolls cannot stand alone in them. They practically have to bend over backward just to stay upright, which IMO isn't very attractive, especially if they're wearing a dress.
I don't have any photos right now, but I may add some later.
