I have a black grand piano (still at my parents house) and played from 2nd grade all the way through high school. I missed out on the last piano so I knew I had to have this one! It's plastic, and has a few issues, but I still love it. It's a fantastic display piece! Piano - It's plastic, but still pretty solid. The legs are hollow, but seem sturdy enough. The innards are a combination of plastic and thick paper/cardboard. The 3 buttons on top play songs. The power switch is on the side, and emits a red light when it's on. I don't have a picture, but it makes a glowing red dot on the wall of my dollhouse when it's on. Overall I think it looks very nice. Bench - This is my least favorite part. It's really cheap, hollow and light weight. The construction and material is very similar to the table/drawers from Julie's bedroom accessories. I have it sitting on a rug (placemat) in my dollhouse to prevent it from sliding back when I sit a doll on the bench. It just needs to have more weight to it. Books - Very cute, just like the piano books I had as a child. They fit nicely in the bench and sit on the ledge of the piano as well.

I bought it during the cyber monday sales last year too. I don't think I've ever used all the pieces together. The blazer looks cute with Emily's headband. I have the pants paired with the pink top from the 2008 School Days Outfit right now, but I haven't taken a picture.

I bought this when it was in the last chance sale for $18. I like the simplicity of the dress, but the fabric seems very prone to snags. The headband is ok, but I love the shoes. I like all the mix and match pieces and that you can dress it up for holiday or leave off the tights and sweater for an everyday look. A- for snag prone fabric, but otherwise it's great.

Here are some pics of my new #55, Meadow. She is gorgeous! Her face paint is nice and bright although you can't really tell in the pitures. I love her freckles and I knew I had to have her the instant she came out. Her wig is pretty thick and nice and shiny. She looks good in everything I've put her in so far. Somone had asked for some comparison pictures of #55 and Ruthie so I figured I would add them here too.

I bought this outfit because I absolutely love the collar on the dress. I wish it didn't have the logo, but I can overlook that. The fabric is nice and soft. The shoes are cute, but on the tight side and a little difficult to get on. I can actually see toe outlines through the shoes. They are very similar in color to the current MyAG meet shoes. B+ for tight shoes and unnecessary logo. ETA 3/20: Just wanted to add that I love the way the dress looks with Lanie's Jeggings and tall boots!

I like this outfit quite a bit. The fabric is really soft and I love the color. The shoes are adorable, and great for mixing and matching with other outfits. The headband is nice too. I tried it on the other way with Mia, but I like it better the way I have it below.

Just adding a few picturse of Mia wearing her PJ's since I don't see any in this review. I love these, they're so soft. The top looks pretty cute with jeans too.

I love Nellie's dark blue eyes and freckles. She's one of the few historicals who has a meet outfit that I really like, plus she looks cute modern too.

She is such a gorgeous girl. Her blue eyes are striking against her medium skin and dark hair. Her hair is also very thick compared to some of the other MyAG dolls.

Her hair is gorgeous. It finger curls easily, but I do think it will take a little extra effort to keep it looking nice. The flower clip is very easy to use. I included a picture of the back below so you can see how it clips. The shoes are cute, but the elastic on the back of one of mine is very loose and always falls off. Her necklace is pretty and ties in the back, but it's long enough that you don't have to untie it to get it on and off. Her dress is nice and summery and I really like the color.

This outfit is very pretty, but I imagine it doesn't hold up well. The velcro snags on the dress very easily. I also find that the dress is really tight, which I guess it's supposed to be but it creates more velcro issues. I love the way it looks on Mia, just wish it was made a little nicer.

From AG's website: Sweetheart Pajamas for Dolls + Charm
My American Girl® dolls can have sweet dreams in these pajamas! They feature:
A short-sleeved tee with a heart graphic at the chest Scrunchy heart-print shorts with tie details at the sides A pair of fleece-lined, knit slipper socks with dangly heart appliqués A “Kind” round charm for the doll’s charm-keeper necklace
The slipper socks are what sold me on this outfit. I absolutely love them! The t-shirt is cute too and looks great with jeans and skirts. The shorts are nice too but very short. They're a little see through, but only with Lanie's dark blue undies. I give this an A+

From AG's website: Hawaiian Monk Seal
In her stories, Kanani helps to rescue a baby Hawaiian monk seal. This one is cute and cuddly, with a plush body and sweet whiskers. Includes a mini newspaper with an article about the seal pup Kanani saved.I don't typically buy a lot of AG plush, but I like sealife and wanted to get this guy. He's nice and soft, and pretty large. 1/6/12 ETA: Scans of newspaper

From AG's website: Kanani's Paddleboard Set Kanani's favorite sport is paddleboarding—she can "catch waves" at the beach with this set:
A graphic paddleboard she can stand on A long paddle she can really hold A nylon life vest with buckle closures to keep her safe A printed beach towel for drying off Faux sunscreen, a map of Kaua‘i, and a mini Beach Sports magazineThis set is great! I was surprised at the sturdiness and weight of the paddleboard. The towel is really nice and pretty large compared to some of the other AG beach towels. The sunscreen is cute and the lid does come off, but the bottle is hard so it's not squeezable. The life vest is nice and has the same pattern on the back that's on Kanani's swimsuit. The map and magazine are ok. They're just paper so not that exciting. Overall I give this set an A+. Back/bottom of paddleboard - has warnings about not putting in water or sand

From AG's website: Kanani’s family lives near the ocean, so she spends a lot of time at the beach. This outfit is perfect for sun and fun:
A halter swimsuit featuring a vibrant print and a gathered keyhole at the neckline Nylon board shorts with a contrast waistband and a floral graphic at the left leg A printed headscarf with an attached side-tie to pull back her long hairI love the swimsuit. It's very stretchy and ties behind the neck. the keyhole is a nice detail. The shorts are cute and match nicely. The headscarf is weird. It's made like a headband with a stretchy piece in back so you can't tie it yourself. I honestly can't see myself using it very much. I would give this outfit an A-. The minus is for the headscarf because otherwise I love this set.

I love this ornament! It's my favorite out of all the ones I have. Felicity has such a sweet expression and the teeny tiny horse brush is so cute. I also love that she looks so much like book felicity. The paint on this ornament is also very well done.

This Addy ornament comes with a separate tiny coin ornament. Though I don't have the 2002 and 2003 Addy ornaments I prefer them both over the 2004 ornament.

I like the vivid colors in Josefina's outfit. Sombrita is adorable although she's more of a pale gray and white in ornament form while the doll size Sombrita is black and white. I'm not thrilled that the hook is in her head, but I choose to ignore it since I don't hang them.

I love the detail in this ornament, especially in the log and on Kaya's dress. The pups are really cute, and if I remember correctly they're actually fuzzy (I already put myornaments away). Even though the hook is clearly visible, I'm glad it's not sticking out of the top of her head since I do not hang them.

This is one of my favorites out of all the Hallmark ornaments. I love her chair and birthday outfit anyway, so of course I like them in ornament form. Her face is very sweet, I tried to get a closer view in the third picture. It's also nice that the hook is in her back instead of sticking out of the top of her head. I don't hang them, so that position is nicer when they're on display.

I love the chair in this ornament, very detailed. Samantha looks very sweet in her birthday outfit. While I do have a Christmas tree hook on her, I do not hang her on the tree. The Hallmark ornaments are fairly heavy and don't hang very well. I've had these ornaments for awhile now, but haven't had a place to display them until this year.

Molly is cute in her Christmas dress with her doll. However, her glasses are pretty thick and I think they're a little overpowering. I prefer Molly's 2003 ornament.
