We purchased this for my daughter's birthday when our family was at the Air and Water Show in Chicago on Saturday. Both my daughters think this set is pretty cool and have played with it a lot since then. All the accessories are pretty neat and I like the fact that they are separate. The menus are a cute idea. She liked the fact that everything is separate and not molded together. The foam in the Ice Shaving machine made my daughter laugh as well. On the downside I wish there were other 'flavors' for the shaved ice other than just the ones included. The ones included are neat, but I know my daughter would like to have ones that specifically correspond to the menu options. One downside that we can see, however, is that the roof part can topple over easily if bumped. The legs fit into the bottom of the stand and slide back out - I think if the legs extended down through the slot a little farther or if they "clicked" into place this issue would be solved. So far we've had no major disasters regarding the dolls, but it is kind of a nuisance. The legs do click into place. I was a bit hesitant at first. My daughter and I were afraid that if we weren't careful that we might accidentally break one of the polls. If you apply equal pressure to both legs, it will 'snap' into place

Mini Nellie is cute! Definately cool to have if you can't find the 18". The stockings are a bit thicker than I'd like, but on the bright side I think they are less prone to snagging. Definately looks like Nellie in miniature. We purchased her with the intention of giving her to our eldest. However since I was able to find a Nellie on Ebay, we are giving that one to her instead (after a new head).

A very pretty doll. Her eyes have the soft Pleasant Company lashes, and her hair is a nice reddish brown color. Her hair is easily pulled back into Samantha's half ponytail style without seeing any wig cap. We purchased this doll at an estate sale. It was obvious that a little girl had previously loved her and tried to take care of her. She came in a handmade outfit. Her hair was easy to straighten up with little fuss. The hair still feels soft to the touch and does not seem to tangle that easily. My daughter has been sleeping with her at night. I'm not sure when she was originally purchased, but I'd wager somewhere in the mid 90's as most of the other dolls and clothing were from around this time. I was promptly informed by this little dolly's new mommy that the doll's name is Cassifina. Lovely hair color/texture, soft eye lashes, and pretty green eyes make her an A in my book ^_^
