I got these on Cyber Monday for Nellie and I wish I had gotten a second pair. They look so darling and they are perfect!!! Nellie loves having her own pair of shoes rather then wearing a pair of Sam's, even if Sam doesn't mind sharing with her BFF at all.

Miss Lanie arrived on Monday and she seemed just perfect from the quick peek I took before running off. I didn't have a problem with the hairnet and the headband, it came right off and there was no lose threads or anything. Her curls are a little scary, not going to lie on that one. I think her dress is rather skimpy for ...what, she's ten right? Or eleven? I mean, going by my mom's reaction when my twelve year old sister wears form fitting skinny jeans ..damn. Anyway, the doll is perfect in my eyes and I fell in love with her. The only fault I see is because of her hairstyle/wig there isn't much that can be done besides pigtails/ponytail or bun without having to worry about messing the curls and having to brush, comb, pick, recurl, whatever. I see her as the girl that NEEDS the headband, like whenever I play with Sam, she needs to have her hair pulled back in it's original style and Lanie needs to have a headband or a clip or something. Overall, I give her an A-, mainly because of her hair but don't get me wrong, she's WAYYY up there with my favorites

I give the coat an A.
I ordered my from another member who was selling it and I am in love with it. I always thought it was pretty in the catalogs but it took my breath away in person.
Samantha is currently sporting it since I don't have a Nellie and didn't feel like putting any of my other girls in a dress and she looks lovely. The coat is a little lose in the sleeves (Sam is wearing her meet dress) but over all it looks and fits fabulous. No hard time putting it on or snagging, it's Leo approved as he laid on it and rolled over so I could rub his belly the second I laid it out.
The mittens are too cute and I'm half tempted to see if my great gma can find someone to make me a matching pair.
My only complaint is the hat. It's cute but it looks way to small, also there is no stretch like the other hats. I had to take Sam's bow out and lossen the band to get it on but then had to redo it anyway because it was too low in the front and pushed her bangs into her eyes. I plan to try it on one of my bangless dolls and see what happens so I'm not sure if I'll be using the hat ALL the time because of that. Messy doll hair bothers me.

I paid 125 for this and the trundle bed (she also tossed in two other pieces for free that her girls had used with the set) and I have to say I am IN LOVE. Even more so now that it's right in front of me.
I am not really a fan of the petals and thinking about pulling the rest of them off. I think they look nice but on a personal level I'm just not impressed. Especially since they feel like plastic compared to the rest of it being wood (assuming that it is, feels like it when I lift it). I had thought it was a lot bigger and heavier from talk but this is just the perfect size and so much lighter than Sam's trunk which is a huge plus (that thing is heavy!). I can't wait for the bulldog to leave so I can pull it away from my stuffed animals and set it up.

I have the PC version, I received it for Christmas the year after I got Samantha and I have to say I love it. It's not the funniest thing to lug around because it's heavy, I was pretty surprised at that when I moved it to another room to pack all my AG stuff into it.
From a first glance I didn't think it was going to hold a lot, but it does. It holds all my AG clothes, some shoes, ribbons and a bunch of other things. I don't really use the shelves that much except to lay her mirror down and hold the hair brush when I remember to put it back instead of on one of the dolls laps.
One of the sides on the second shelf has a gap in it but my stepdad says he can easily fix it with glue, I must remind him to do it since I popped it into place and always forget about it. Overall I give the trunk an A++, it's worth the price, it holds a lot, it's gorgeous and the make is incredible.

I received this dress when I went through my "too old for dolls" period, so it ended up opened and stuck in Samantha's trunk, the box in her doll box. Even when I started up again it always ended up back at the end of her drunk, I think the dress is beautiful but I'm not to fond of the way it looks on her and none of my other girls are into the whole period thing so it just sits there, I do think I may try it out on my Beckie when I get her.
Anyway, after reading the reviews I'm feeling like such an idiot. Because the dress itself never had any play except the one time I put it on Samantha, I thought that the stain was really the fabric. I just pulled it out to take a look and I'm not that sure if I'll give it an Oxy job or not, as I find I kind of like the off-white, pink thing it's got going on.
Although it isn't much of a review, I give the dress a B/B-, I rarely play with it and the stain is a real turn off because I get really nervous when I have to clean their clothes, especially with Samantha's dresses. It's pretty but I don't think it looks good on any of the dolls except Samantha and it's just barely, I also don't like how the only shoes it goes with is her party shoes, which I don't have and even with those (I compared in store), I still thought it didn't look that right together the pink and white isn't the same.
