As soon as I saw this little dog I knew I needed him, even thought I don't collect for moderns/GOTY. As you can see from my picture, he's pretty much the mini-me of my Australian Shephard, coloring and everything.
He's so soft and a really nice size, totally worth the price!
I bought this dress for my Kirsten to help fill out her meager dress collection. It's a little fancy for working on the farm, but in my head its something Mama gave her to wear to a special occasion in town. Maybe a church picnic, or her birthday. My hat came without any dents, and the dress needs a little ironing, but otherwise it's beautiful.

I never liked this dress till I joined this board. The catalogue can't seem to do it justice. But after seeing all the wonderful pictures on here, I fell in love. Then once Caroline was announced, I decided I should get it so she'll have it once she gets here. The dress is really pretty by itself. Lovely and delicate, but I can still see it as an everyday type dress.
I'm like many others, and don't feel that the jacket matches this dress. But the jacket itself I think is wonderful. Its a black wool fabric, and is fully lined. The little buttons actually button. I didn't have trouble using them, but I can see how a child might. Even though it doesn't really "go" with this dress, I think it'll be a good piece to have in Caroline's collection.
Mini Ivy was definitely worth the wait. My friend picked her up for my recently from American Girl Place Chicago and I couldn't be happier. Her meet outfit is a little garish, but I think it'll make for nice mix and match pieces later.
My mini Ivy, is going to be a little Japanese girl instead of Chinese, so of course she needed a little kimono.

I just got Emily, this past week, and I'm just so amazed how pretty she is. Her hair and eye color are just such a gorgeous combination. dollhouse 004 by elizabeth_kuykendall, on Flickr Her hair is so incredibly soft! I'm so glad I got her.
