Well, I'm one of the people who think meet accessories are a must for the Historicals. However, this isn't one of my favorites.
I think the outfit is too spring-like, so I would only have Kit wear this outfit with the hat in the spring. Also, I would have preferred the compass necklace to be a real compass.
But the hat is so cute on Kit! I do love the hankie and the purse, too (nice that it has a strap).
I give it a B+.

I was really surprised by this outfit. I received it as a gift this past spring, but due to moving, I didn't open it until last month. I didn't realize it came with the Mary Janes! I don't really mind the fabric. I loved Annie as a child and still collect memorabilia. This dress reminds me alot of Annie's dress.
The Scottie pin worries me. I didn't know it was gong to be a magnet, which makes sense as not to leave holes. But I'm very afraid I'll lose it.
I give it an A-

I also think this is one of the plainer dresses and the style of it bugs me. I don't like the crossover collar and belt. The color is pretty muted, too. Plus, I dislike the fact so many other dolls' outfits are being retired yet Sam keeps getting new ones. If she does, then they should make them worth it.
I do like the valentines it came with and wasn't expecting it (it was a gift).
I give it a C+.

I LOVE this outfit. I think it's a great example of what children wore during this time period. It was the first outfit I bought for Samantha after her Christmas dress. Even though I've collected other dresses for her, I find myself still drawn to this one.
I give it an A+.
