We have the older one and it is a lot of fun. I don't think it is that durable. I think it could break easily with rough play.

We have these and they are very sweet. I think they run large. They are not as soft as the doll pair but still very sweet. I think you will enjoy these a lot.

OK, we have Sam's sleigh. The only reason I bought it is because I think it makes a lovely display piece and it was part of my daughter's Samantha collection. Honestly the sleighs are lovely display pieces but have very little play value. It is way to large with attached horse to play with. Although my baby seemed to love to sit in it. I would take a pass at it.
On the flip side, I think it makes a wonderful winter display that is nice to put away during the warmer months.

We have the bitty party set. The cupcakes are way too big for the 18" girls. It would be like having a mini cake or a giant cupcake. The drinks and the cups seem an OK size for the 18" dolls. My daughter enjoys the set with the 18" dolls but she seems less concern with scaling.

This set is really nice. The only draw back it the plastic lump of cookies or cake thing. Also the candlebrea seems so huge compared to the menorah sets. The one thing that irks me about AG is the lack of uniform sizing of stuff.

This actually was a bummer. Because there is no backing, the dolls can't sit well in it. I haven't noticed that the benches fall over. But overall, I would ditch this piece. I even tried to give it away and no one would take it. So now it just sits in the corner and occassionally my kids stand on to get to other things.

My daughter is 5 and still wears the Medium. I think it will fit her again next year.

This is an incredibly sturdy piece. We love it and it gets lots of play time. The one thing is, except for the cupcakes, the food doesn't come off the trays. So that limits play time for older children. As for us, well let's just say we can't find the tray and only know where two of the cupcakes are at any given time. So stuck on food works well for us because we can't lose them. But you can also use it as store shelf or a book shelf. Excellent piece and I highly recommend it.

My daughter got this for Christmas. The food items are great but she likes the stand as well. She plays store or concession stand. If you couple it with Julie's bleachers (on sale they were $28 with shipping), it makes a great game piece. We need the game accessories but this is a wonderful piece. You could also take down the sign and use it for any kind of different store counter.

I alwyas thought those overhead storage bins were used for keeping food warm or fresh. Like they stored bread in them. But I could be wrong. I believe I saw that on some Road to Avonlea episodes. Janet pulled the bread from the overhead in the morning.

It is very cute and I love the mittens. I also like the pattern on the coat. If you have Emily, this is a great piece. But it is definitely a period piece because it is made of wool.
