McKenna's Practice Outfit is a great value for our money IMO. It comes with her Leotard, purple twist top cropped sweater , Practice T shirt, Velour shorts, ankle support, 4 hair ties, plus a small bag of about 6 elastics, hairband and hairstyle instruction card #2. Im really impressed with the cropped sweater. At first glance, i assumed it was a replica of Marisols, but AG used almost identical fabric to my lululemon yoga overlay. It's mean to be comfortable, cool, and be able to move freely with you, which would make sense for a gymnast. Her leotard is adorable. The colours look really great together and it fits well. The practice T and short set is darling. Again, colours look great together, and the outfit fits well on the doll. I love that the Tee is a V neck. I dont recall AG using this style before. I hope they use it more often. Here's her Hairstyle card if anyone would like to see it:

My daughter received the McKenna's Beam and Bar set this morning. HUGE play value here. My 10 year old absolutely adores this set and has been playing with it steady for over 2 hours now. The bar is very well made. The base is metal painted purple and the bar itself is plastic. Her grips snap onto the bar very easily and stay on tight. You attach McKenna by aligning her hands and wrists to the grips, and fastening the velcro. Here is Mia "coaching" McKenna on bars. The beam, wedge and mat set are fantastic. Both Mia and I are amazed by how life like they are. AG did a phenomenal job here. Having spent a large part of my life on a beam, I can assure you, this is to scale. My only complaint is that it's so to scale, the dolls have a tough time staying on without assistance. Beams were never meant for the flat footed, lol. But I think AG was banking on girls keeping the doll moving like a routine on the beam, which is what my daughter has been doing.

My daughter received McKenna this morning. Im in love with this doll. I literally cannot stop touching this dolls hair. Her wig is so silky, smooth and playable. Here is a shot of the infamous wig cap. My McKenna did not come with the white wig cap seen on the instore display doll. Her wig cap blends her hair colour and is not as noticeable. Her face paint is beautiful, not too bright, but not too subtle. Her Meet outfit is nice. My dd likes it, and thinks it's definitely something she would wear. BUT, as Holley said, when McKenna sits her leggings fall. A little annoying, but like Queen says, she makes the rockin' world go round.

I haven't had a lot of time to take some pictures of her yet, but this is my daughters 55, Arya. We picked her up last week at AGPNY. DD and I were not expecting to pick up a MyAG. In fact, she went there fully intending to get Marie Grace. But we didn't even make it upstairs before she was side tracked by Arya. I have to be honest, Im completely blown away by how beautiful this girl is. Her coloring is like nothing I've seen before with our other dolls. Even though she is another classic mold (we have 4), she stands out.

When I was at the store I really checked this item out because Mia wants it quite badly. We do not have the room for it atm though.
It's a nice (and large) piece, the backdrop seems very durable, and the accessories look very cute as well. Not having the fencing is a bit of a let down though. But a fence could easily be made. The only other issue I had was that it appeared that the horse was taller than the backdrop. Im not sure if it was the angle I was looking at or not though.

A+ I have a Mattel version of #2 and I adore her! Beatrice (or Beezus) came to us in horrendous condition. Her head was so bad, it was not repairable. It needed to be replace. Her hands were also chewed. (One finger on her left hand is almost falling off) But my daughter loves her so much and she quickly became a favorite. Here she is with her beautiful new head:

I agree with everything that has been said about this outfit so far, so no need to repeat it. I have yet to find a doll that this dress does NOT look beautiful on. But my favorite so far has to be Rebecca. I don't know if it's it's the colour of her hair, or her eyes, but this outfit and it's colours suit her!

I give an A for this set! I just love the colours, style, and those slippers!! My only issue is the orangutan. While he is very cute, he sheds...a lot. And the fabric on the night gown seems to be a magnet for the shedding. Here is Chrissa modelling the night gown:

These Pj's are my favorite! So far, they seem to suit all of our dolls. the colours are just gorgeous, especially on blue eyed girls! Note to AG: USE MORE OF THIS PURPLE! Here is Kit modelling the pajamas: My grade - A

When I found out Kirsten was being archived, I knew that the only item I could not miss out on was this set. The buttons on my set were not loose at all, and I had no troubles putting the sweater on, providing I put the mittens on first. The hat is a touch big on Jess's head, but I don't mind since it looks adorable regardless. A+
