This was one of the holiday outfits for 2015. The set includes a sleeveless red dress with a full short skirt, red hair band and shiny black tee strap shoes for $36. It was the one most often shown with the holiday accessories which included a black shrug this year.
Didn't much like this dress. It looked and felt cheap and skimpy. Liked the other dress, the Gorgeous Gold more, though close examination showed it wasn't particularly well made either. The other outfit also came with a purse, an extra piece for the same price. The masses seemed to agree with me since the Gorgeous Gold sold out in a lot of places, and this dress was reduced to half price along with the Holiday Accessory set. At $18, it's a good deal.
Actually, this dress really looks good on Grace, GOTY. Color is great for her, and the style suits her well. Though the skirt is very short, too short, IMO, that is what I noticed a lot of little girls wearing this holiday season. I prefer this more tailored dress to the last red holiday dress from 2013. It's just that for the price, it needed to offer more pizzaz and really should have had another piece included, and it just didn't do either.
I give this out fit a C- at full price, B+ at 20% off and A- at half price.
