Hooray for birthdays! Bitty Baby will be ready to celebrate in this pretty party outfit that includes:
A white dress with a full skirt, pink embroidery on the bodice and hem, and a satin bow at the waist
A headband with a mesh and pink satin rosette
A pair of soft-soled shoes with scalloped edges and a mesh ankle bow

I'd give this an A- overall.
I think the dress is lovely. The fabric is a little thin in places but it's not a deal breaker for me since the sleeves are pretty full and I'm not going to be shining a spotlight on said dress anytime soon.
As BB isn't really my territory, I don't know how big/small the heads are these days, but it was a PITA trying to get that headband on Bitty's head. I'd honestly worry about scratching the painted on hair for any of the newer/darker haired dolls. So the headband I'd probably give a C for Bitty, but it works fine for the dolls with actual hair.
The shoes are rose gold for some reason and thus they don't go with anything else in the outfit. They're a pretty color but I'd rather the pinks matched. They're basically what I think of when I think of BB shoes so they're fine. Easy on, easy off but not so easy they just fall off.
You'll notice the fraying there at the bottom of the dress and it probably won't bother me but it might drive other people bonkers so be warned.
I don't particularly love it on the larger/older dolls as it looks too young for them in my opinion. I think it's a case of it working better in photos than it does in reality. In person, the bow is definitely too big to look quite right on an older girl and as it is, it looks like the kind of dress an out of touch relative sends that technically fits, but is years too young for the wearer.
The headband works just fine for dolls with hair if that's your thing.

I'm not a big BB fanatic but I fell in love with this dress immediately it mostly lived up to my expectations. It's not perfect but it is pretty and I love that they actually went with embroidery and didn't do it just on the front of the dress.
