This was hands-down the EASIEST of the playsets to construct because the bags of pieces are NUMBERED and the instructions indicate when it's time to open said numbered bag to begin constructing the pieces held within! This is totally different than any of the other American Girl Mega Construx playsets that I've constructed. Saved a couple of hours of sorting the pieces by color when first opening all the bags. It took me about 2 hours to construct with the bags mostly presorted. GREAT!
Notice above where it says "rebuildable" -- some of the furniture pieces can only be made by disassembling some of the others. I was disappointed in this aspect, but since there are only 6 rooms to furnish, it would be impossible to have say both a kitchen AND a fireplace area.
I wanted the Piano AND a fireplace even though they use some of the same pieces. I took apart the kitchen (sink & oven) because some of those pieces are needed for the fireplace as well and I constructed a fireplace without taking apart the piano. It's not matching the instructions, but it worked out well, I think.
I also designed an "art studio" space in the gazebo even though I was technically supposed to disassemble the sewing table to do so. Therefore some of furniture pieces in the photos below are "creatively constructed" using what I had!

(Above says there are "2 stuffed teddy bears" when in reality there is only one. Only one is shown in the instruction booklet piece listing as being included. There are 2 bicycles though!)
