From the AG website:
When I saw the Outdoor Play outfit in photos and the catalog/website, I knew my dolls would be getting it. My mom bought it for me for my dolls (my Jess convinced her to; she said it was made for her, lol) and the outfit arrived yesterday.
Anyway, I love this outfit; I give it an A+! It's got cute mix and match pieces which make it well worth the money and it's not pink (I like pink but the blue suits this outfit more). I kinda wish the white part of the top was a light grey instead. White seems like it would get dirty pretty easily while at camp/camping, however, that doesn't take away from the awesomeness of this outfit. I haven't read the book yet but it has activities for kids to have their own little camp.
Now onto the photos:
Full view
The sandals-I love the stripes; they're the same style as Nicki's Tie Top outfit sandals.
Detail of the side of the shorts-there are two belt loops on the front sides and two front pockets that work. Elastic at the back; velcro closure on the front.
Shirt detail-I'm not sure if the graphic might be prone to peeling like Mia's meet sweater or not. The kangaroo pocket is a nice touch.
Back of the bandanna The tag on the bandana, on the front of the band, does show through a bit. The shirt and shorts close with the [snaggy] velcro closure; you have to pull the shirt over the head. (the blue hairties are just some cheap ones I had bought for my dolls).
The cuff on the shorts can be let down, which is good if you're doll feels like wearing slightly longer shorts.
"American Girls can’t wait to wear this outfit to summer camp! It features:
* A hoodie sweatshirt with blue sleeves and a “Pine Lake Camp” graphic
* Twill shorts with patch pockets and adjustable cuffs
* Sporty sandals for exploring the outdoors
* A bandanna to sweep back her hair while she plays
* Includes the Camp AG book, filled with ideas for summer fun
$24"
