I got this today and thought I would share my view. Shirt: Really nice! the pattern on the front is "printed" but it is really pretty, some of the colours used in the pattern are fresh and my personaly favorites (aqua, orange, purple, green and pink) but some of them blend in with the colour of the t-shirt its self. I originally thought the shirt was a light pink from photos on the website and in catologs but it is more of a purple under tone in it.the sleve length is supposed to be shorter but they aren't quite 3/4 they look kind of acward. grade: A- ( -for the sleve length.) Skirt: Cute! I've herd some people say it looks wierd do to the random placing of elasic and roshing but I think it makes it cuter. the one complaint I have about it is that it's very thin. you can see the light right through it in my pictures but it doesn't show the colour of the underwear through it. grade:A Shoes: Plain. meh, I've seen them before in the star hoodie the only difference is strap isn't ribbon but the same fabric of the shoe. grade: A- (cute but seen it) Barette: I didn't know it came with this! It's a nice surprise. it's a light blue stone in a metal base and the rest of it is metal. the clasp is nise and sturdy but hard to get undone, witch could be a good thing. grade A Overall grade : A (no plus for weird sleves and see through skirt but still really cute!) All pictures have the outfit on my #3 FULL OUTFITSKIRTSHOESSHIRTBARETTE

I don't dislike this outfit but I do think it's a bit skimpy, given the retail price of $24. The lilac top is pretty enough, but the fabric is very thin. It can definitely be used for mix-and-match purposes, though, so it has versatility in its favor. And I suppose the avowed 'Butterfly Garden' graphic might make it appealing for Lanie collectors. The skirt is one of those concepts that probably looked really good on paper. I think the design execution leaves something to be desired. I will say that the ruching effect works better on the girl-sized skirt than the doll-sized one. To my eyes, it's oddly spaced on the doll's skirt and would have been cuter if maybe there was perhaps more of it, more strategically placed? I don't know. It's a nice basic skirt but I do wish it were simpler. The shoes are sweet and definitely versatile. Nice flat soles for the dolls to stand in. They are somewhat similar to the shoes of the Star Hoodie Meet outfit, but I think these are sturdier. The barrette to me is nothing to write home about. I'm not terribly fond of these metal barrettes AG has been pairing with outfits, as they don't hold much hair. They are coordinating throw-ins to make you think you're getting something extra for your money, but they really aren't very useful IMO. I'd rate this outfit a B overall. The odd style of the skirt and skimpy fabric of the top bring it down for me. But my target-aged daughter likes it a lot, and that's what counts most.
