What else can one say but "ugh?" At least, that's what our parents thought. Apparently once they left the card they turned up EVERYWHERE. I only stuck them in a couple places--the camping backpack and the vinyl jumper--but they've stuck faithfully ever since. Be aware they yellow over time, and use SPARINGLY! unless you want them haunting your dreams.
