Rainbow Sprinkles Outfit for Dolls
This casual Truly Me doll outfit is like an ice cream bar: sweet, silly, and a fun surprise! It includes:
-A bright blue top with peplum on the sides, framing an inset with a multi-colored dot print
-Capris with a stripe of metallic ribbon trim
-Clear blue sandals
-A beaded bracelet with a charm
-A matching hair accessory
$30.00
Here is my Isabelle modelling the Rainbow Sprinkles Outfit. It is a fun, bright outfit that is perfect for spring and summer.
A close-up of the shirt. I appreciate that the dots only cover the center of the shirt and don't overwhelm the whole piece.
The bracelet. It is plastic beads on elastic. It does not feel cheap at all.
The hair accessory. AGs hair accessories tend to either be a success or a flop. This one is a success. It is nice and stretchy so it can fit over a small ponytail, like my Isabelle's, or a thick pony as well. The beads are plastic and fun colors. Again, it does not seem cheap to me.
I love these sandals. They remind me of the jellies from way-back when. They are a soft stretchy plastic and were extremely easy to get on.
Back of the sandals.
The pants are a nice light-weight canvas-like material that is a tad see-through. They have an elastic waste. They are easy enough to get on the doll, except the feet can be a bit tricky since the legs are form-fitting. They are not skin-tight, however, and not a huge struggle to get on.
I like the bright pink stripe on the leg, but I think it is a little strange that it is only on one leg, and not both. However, it is a nice little detail that brightens up the pants a bit and also ties in with the colors of the outfit.
Overall I like this outfit; it is cute but casual. AGs prices are getting higher than ever, but I still think the majority of their outfits are worth the price, and this is no exception. I give it an A for the single stripe, and I kind of wish there was a blue bead in the hair tie to balance out the bright pink and yellow.
