I received this kitty as a birthday present from a dear friend. She very cute and can tilt her head charmingly to one side or have it straight. Her mouth is sewn in a way that she appears to smile. All four legs are posable. She has blue eyes and her fur is soft. She also came with a blue striped plastic mouse to hold. She is a bit big compared to my original Coconut or The Queen's Treasure black Susan and teacup Yorkie that I also have. Screenshot 2023-06-04 190606 by Laura *, on Flickr

This was the final set I bought for my PC collection. Mine is from 1993 (first edition) The attention to detail is beyond incredible. The satchel is lined and well made and Addy( or another doll can hold it perfectly. All her supplies fit in the satchel. The Reader is not laminated and has a number of pages of lessons. My favorite piece in the abacus. The frame in very detailed and the little beads slide easily back and forth. I wish the slate was real slate, but it is still very nice. I liked this set so much I bought two, one for each of my Civil War girls.

Skiff

Caroline's skiff is a wonderful and unique piece. It is wood and very well made. The oars are quite detailed as well. Two dolls and Caroline's basket fit in it quite easily. The skiff works well in a number of historical doll settings. I use mine for Felicity and Samantha as well as Caroline. It is a piece that looks nice on permanent display. Caroline's whole collection was very reminiscent of Pleasant Company quality to me.

Caroline's bed is absolutely beautiful. I personally think it is the prettiest bed that PC/AG has ever created. The bed is all wood and the curved canopy make it a unique piece.

This set is wonderful. The basket is extremely well made of real wicker and the apples and gingerbread cakes are quite realistic. The map is gorgeous and completely embroidered. A=

Classic Caroline is an absolutely stunning doll. Her eyes are mesmerizing. They are beautiful and unique They are the lovely decal eyes like my German Felicity and Samantha have. They are a seafoam green that appear to change depending on the angle you are viewing her from. Her hair is gorgeous and quite thick. the curls give it interesting highlights and are surprisingly easy to keep looking neat. Her meet dress is pretty, similar to Felicity's summer gown (which I do like better), but still quite nice. Her face gives her a very angelic look and I am very sad that she is archiving.A+++++

This is the only desk I own. I give it an A+. It is very versatile and works for Samantha as well as Kit and Kirsten IMO. I love the dark wood and the metal curlique design.

Nellie is a beautiful doll. I give her an A+. She looks good in Victorian time period clothes but ours also doubles as a 1930's girl for a friend for Kit. Her meet dress is GORGEOUS. It is probably my favorite meet dress.

I got mine when it first was released. I think this set is adorable like Kit's school supplies with real crayons. My typewriter dings when in reaches the end of the line without hitting the return or anything. I love that it does this because in makes it even more authentic.

I'm soooo glad that I bought these when I bought Julie a few months ago. The purse is similar to one I remember having although I do wish AG had embroidered the flowers on. I guess from P C days I'm always looking for that one extra inch . The necklace is great, I had a name one too- they were all the rage. I've seen the new set and I'm glad I got this before it was gone.

Kit is a gorgeous doll. We preordered her the minute she was out so she is one of the first ones. My daughter's Kit is very rosy with beautiful coloring although lighter than the newer ones . I think it depends on the doll. She was the first Mattel purchase having bought new P C Kirsten, Felicity and Samantha before. Even my Samantha has more rosy coloring and lip paint than another Samantha I've seen from the exact same year.

Felicity is a breathtakingly beautiful doll. The prettiest doll PC created IMO. I have a first release 1991 PC West German made one. She came in a West German tagged shift and gown and a dolls Made in West Germany hangtag. She has lovely muted periodot eyes and coppery red hair with three adorable pincurls on each side. She has a wider face and stunning coloring. Her eyelashes are quite long and a lovely reddish brown. Her vinyl is the soft and pliable of the earliest dolls and she has a nice plump body. She is definitely my favorite doll. A+++++

I really like her bonnet. I think it look very pretty on Kirsten with her blue eyes. It reminds me of the "poke bonnet" Laura has in the Little House books and Tv show

I agree! I have the school supplies for Felicity, Samantha and Kit. I think that Felicity's is just beautiful. I have the PM version and I think the inkwell and the fact the sander is silver plated and quite heavy for its size is great. I also like that the top comes off on mine. I do like Kit's nib pen better than Samantha's and I absolutely love her real wax crayons. I tried to order a second set later to store but, the crayons had been changed to plastic.

I just love this set! I think Kirsten looks so cute in this especially with the red boots. I think this is great as a Christmas outfit. The hair ribbons are so pretty.

I have the Rowe pottery first version and I feel that this set has wonderful play value. This set has survived much play and is still unclipped or broken. I love the handpainted version. it looks so sweet. We also have the PM version of Samantha's lemonade set and I feel that version is sturdier and heavier than the Mattel. I also like the more muted golden red cherries
