This was my first mini doll, I got her at Sam's Club with the book set. I really like the way the MG mold transfers to the mini. Her hair is really soft and nicely done up. The dress is a really nice material. The only thing that bugs me is her teeth look a little like buck teeth, other than that she is really lovely. A- for the buck tooth problem.

I really like this set especially since it all metal! The dolls look pretty good sitting in the chairs and I don't think they would fall out of them. I give this set an A+.

This has to be my favorite outfit. It has great mix and match potential and gets worn all the time. I give it an A+.
ETA: The purple in the outfit is very similar to the headband that came with the Licorice Play Outfit.

I actually like these glasses-they look a lot like mine. They stay on pretty well and look cute even though they have a slight tendency to ride up on my #25's face.

I picked this up at Books-a-Million, they also have them at Barnes and Noble too. I'm not really sure if you can buy them at American Girl stores or not.
Onto the review: It comes with two pink taboggans with American Girl written across the bottom. It costs $10.95. The taboggan fits really well and looks good with lots of outfits. I was surprised that the "girl" sized taboggan fit me since I wear an adult XXL motorcycle helmet. hmm.. I give this an A+. I think it is worth the $10.95 for a girl and doll hat.

I think it is meant for a girl who likes horses.

I named this beauty Leanne, she is definitely an A+ in my book.

This outfit is very cute and looks good on all my dolls. The dress is made very well and I am just in love with the pocket. I like the bow they added because it tones down the zebra print a little. The shoes fit well and are made well . The purple on the shoes really goes well with the other accents. The headband looks small but when you put it on the doll it fits perfect. The bracelet is made with a clasp like a real braclet and the beads are cute. I give this an A+ and it is a steal at $24.

I looked it up and it seems that they had a lot of big wood furniture then so a wooden bed would work better to me.

I just got this outfit this afternoon and I am in love. A lot of people have probally passed this outfit up due to the fact it doesn't come with pants but I think the leggings they suggest look wonderful under it. The coat is made very well, just like a real one. I really like the scarf and like that they made it so you don't have to tie it. The boots have really cute faux fur on them but they are a little big. I give it an A+.

I just recieved this outfit in the mail today and I was surprised to find it in the old JLY box and it had the book and charm. I guess they had it left over from the switch.
I really like this dress, it is very girly and cute. it has two layers, the bottom layer is light pink with white trim at the bottom, the top layer is neon pink with light hearts. I think the dress is made really well but it might be easy to rip the top layer. A
The shoes are to die for! They are really cute and have a little white bow to accent the pink. The shoes are made well but I could see the bow accidently falling off. A
The necklace is cute and has a pink ribbon with a pink heart hanging off of it. The pink heart has a small white rhinestone embedded in it. The only think I wish was diffrent was the necklace wouldn't get caught in the doll's neck. A

I wasn't really wanting this dress that much when I saw it online but my mom saw it and thought it was the perfect birthday present for me. I have to say it is actually one of my favorite outfits now that I have it.
The dress is very pretty especially when on a dark haired doll. The dress has a nice lining inside of it and the pink isn't that overwhelming in person. The embordery and ruffles go all around the back. The embordery is my favorite part, it is just so detailed . The only bad thing about this is the fact that it wrinkles so easily. I give it an A+ even though it does wrinkle.
The shoes are the exact same color as the dress and go on very easily. The shoes tend to not cover up all the doll's toes and look a tiny bit odd to me. I give them an A- because they do the wierd fit on the toes.
The hat completes the outfit and without the dress doesn't look so pretty. The three little flowers are really cute and the green ribbon is a nice touch. The hat can easily be folded without worry of being wrinkled. The hat looks a little put together on the very top the way the layers go up. I give the hat an A.
The book is yet another cookie cutter one from ag. I give this outfit a very high A.

I only paid $10 for this and I think that it was an excellent deal. I bought this simply because it is so diffrent from the cookie cutter ag outfits lately.
The shirt does look pretty nice even though it is a little odd. It is supposed to look that way though and I have seen shirts like it on little kids lately. I really like the little graphic on the front of it. I give it an A- because of the slide oddness of the black tank thing.
The pants don't have any mix and match possibilties because they are very outfit specific. They are very pretty none the less. I like the two little buckle looking things on the bottom of the pants. The pants fit slightly weird, they seem a bit baggy at the top. I give them a B+, it would be an A if they matched something else.
The boots have a nice metallic tint and are very easy to get on even though they are so tall. I think they would look good with a skirt outfit to make it look slightly military style. I give these a solid A.
The book is standard issue ag magazine material. The little scrunchie is sparkly and stretches very easily.

I love the jumper, shirt, and socks- but the shoes and comb are another story. You have to force the shoes on and they make the socks bunch up funny. The hair comb will not hold any hair and is much to small. This outfit is very nice when it gets on so I will give it a B.

I agree with other reviewers that the accessories don't really serve a purpose in the story or in real life. The coin is horribly large and has "copy" printed on it. The purse doesn't really want to be held by Kit. The only reason I bought this set was for the necklace and I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't a real compass. The necklace is worn all the time but the other things are at the back of one of my doll drawers. Overall I give this a B.

I got Kit as my first doll and I hated the way her hair was longer on one side because on the American Girl website it looks even. My mom then showed me a picture of my great grandmother from the late 20s, all the girls in the photo had lopsided bobs! I am going to have to give AG points for historical accuracy. The only thing I don't like about Kit is her hair gets very bad flyaways. Her meet outfit already has a lot of snags in the sweater set and I have only had her for a few months. I really love her shoes because they can be used with lots of outfits and even look somewhat modern.
