When I first saw this outfit, I thought, "Holy snap, that it the ugliest whatever that thing is I've ever seen." But gradually, it grew on me. You see, anyone can love purple corduroy gauchos!
So about the outfit. The top is cute, and looks good with the jeans that Julie arrives in. The gauchos are...tolerable. They actually look more like gauchos and less like a big ugly skirt like they did in the premiere photos. But corduroy is just not my favorite material. Still, they look alright. The boots are kind of hard to get on, but not annoyingly frustrating or anything. It does not take more than a minute to push them on.
So yes, call it ugly if you like, along with the rest of 1970s. But I like it. My mom also says that it's historically accurate, if that means anything to anyone. ...I don't think it does.
Grade: B
The boots close with velcro.

I guess I'm in the minority here, because I really like this outfit.
The Shirt - B+ Definitely screams "Partridge Family." Cute shirt, nothing extraordinary.
You can slip it through the belt loops to undo it.
The Jumper - A My favorite part of the whole outfit. It's very soft and pretty, and feels nice to touch.
The Tights - B I dunno what everyone else's deal with these is, because my pair doesn't shed. Maybe it happens over time? Anyway, yes, they're kind of tacky, but I like tacky stuff. Again, screams "Partridge family." Which...usually isn't a good thing...
The Shoes - D Now here's something we can all agree on! The shoes...suck. They're actually not as bad as I expected, but they're still cheap feeling, and Julie has trouble standing up in them. They're hard to put on, too.
Overall Grade - A-

So Miss Albright arrived today (well, actually yesterday, since I happened to post this at midnight), and I must say, I'm very happy with her. I know some people have concerns about her hair, but really, it's fine, although she does shed a bit more than my other dolls. If you're worried about this, just use your fingers to straighten her hair more often than a brush. About her hair. I really like it. It's very smooth, and although yes, it is similar to Barbie hair, it's still nice Barbie hair. I haven't bothered taking out her little braid, since I figure it'll look strange and kinky compared to the rest of her head, but it's cute, so that's fine. Julie is the first doll I've purchased with the Josefina face mold, and although she looks good in American Girl's official photos (surprisingly), I love her even more in person. I believe that Nethilia claimed that she wanted to kiss Julie on the lips. I wanted to do the same when I saw her. Julie arrives wearing a hair net, I guess to keep her hair from going everywhere. I didn't realize this at first, and was afraid that her hair was a tangled, ratty mess. My mistake. So if you're itching to get a pony Julie of your own-ee, I'd recommend her. She's cute as a button, even if my photos don't do her justice. Julie's very straight, butt-long hair. ETA: Julie's hair sticks up everywhere, especially if she takes a tumble (which happens a lot in those platform sandals). Someone here, I believe blondieinhiding, said that they rubbed a sheet of fabric softener over her hair, and this made her hair stay down. I tried this, and it worked wonderfully. So if you're getting annoyed with her hair flying all over, try this. Her head will also smell laundry fresh!

Even though I can't imagine seeing someone walking down the street with this on, it looks very nice on my doll. Unfortunately, my tights have several holes in them, and I seem to have misplaced the box containing it while unpacking. Hopefully it'll turn up, because it is a cute outfit.

Poor Alex! It is definitely a struggle to get this over a doll's head. They should have made the hood detachable or something. It actually looks cute with the hood up.
The sweatshirt's a little short so I pulled the shirt up. The sleeves of the sweatshirt are kind of tight, so she can't keep her arms very close to her body.
So although it's hard to get this bloody thing over a doll's head, I'd say it's cute and worth the price. Oh, and you can put stuff in the front pocket.

The Dress - A It's very soft, and it's pretty adorable (I didn't get the "Santa Baby" vibe, for some reason). Thankfully, the fuzzy trim does not shed, like the Bitty Baby outfit.
The Scarf - B- The scarf fits through a little hole, so it's not going anywhere. It actually looks kind of weird with the dress.
The Hat - B+ It's kind of tight on your doll's head, and takes some work to get it to look just right. Still very cute, though.
The Boots - C I'm just getting sick of these tall boots. Although they're not as difficult to put on as the Velveteen Coat boots, they're still a pain.

Okay, so it's one of the earlier Pink!outfits. But it actually looks good in a winter setting.
The outfit comes with a striped long-sleeved shirt, a vest, lined pants, fuzzy boots (all pink), and a big, furry hat with big, furry mittens. So you do get a decent amount of stuff here
Shirt - A Not too much to say. It's a cute shirt, and looks good just by itself with jeans or whatever.
Vest - B+ The vest closes by slipping the belt through the belt buckle in front. This can be kind of a challenge to do sometimes, though, so if you've got big hands, you'll have some trouble. But it still looks nice, and obviously goes well with the shirt.
Pants - B The pants have white stripes going down the sides of the leg. They velcro in the front, but there's also a little button above that, and for some reason it doesn't like to stay clasped. The pants are relatively loose, so they should fit a PM doll. B becuase of the annoying button, and you can't really mix and match with it.
Boots - A- Pink boots that zip in the back, with fuzzy white trim. These aren't the tall boots that AG's been selling recently; they go only a little past the ankle. Again, they look nice along with the rest of the outfit, but they'd look odd if you pair them with jeans or a skirt.
Hat and Mittens - C+ Big, poofy hat with big, poofy mittens. There's nothing really wrong with them, except that it's kind of hard to get the mittens on. It's just that the hat is much bigger than pictures show, and has a tendency to fall in your doll's face, rendering her blind. So yeah, just too big for my tastes.
Overall - B It's a cute outfit, though maybe a bit unpractical with just a shirt and vest to keep your doll warm. I'd say it's one of the better Pink!outfits.

Goodness, it took me long enough to buy this outfit. This is a very cute, plain outfit, plain being good. I could see myself and others wearing something like this today without looking like a trendy weirdo caught up in some fashion fad. (*cough*what'swiththebootsAG*cough*) The tunic is a very pretty color, and I especially like the sleeves. The jeans are...jeans. And jeans are cool, right? The clogs are surprisingly adorable, and have clasps in the back to keep them on. So yeah, nothing very descriptive here, but the photos in this thread should already be showing you how nice the outfit it. Grade: A+ Wow, first A+ outfit for me. =0

Oh, her hair is the same length as the rest of the JLY dolls. It's just that mine has very dry hair on that side of her head. I've been meaning to try out that braid spray...
So yes, her hair is long enough.

Grade: A+AGOT #13's hair is a lighter brown than Samantha's, so I think it's the same color as Molly's. Her eyes are, I'm assuming, the same as Samantha's, though. If I recall correctly, her hair arrived in a ponytail, if that means anything to anyone. Anyway, she doesn't look exactly like me (my hair is darker and my eyes are hazel), but hey, she's cute. If you wanna buy her, go for it.

The inside
The Coat - B The coat buttons up in the front, and thankfully it's not a horrible challenge to do that. So, it's a cute coat, whether you use it as a coat or just a dress (which AG seems to be marketing it as). I had my dollies naked underneath it, but I'm sure it would still fit well if they had other clothes on. Since the coat is very soft and black, I imagine that it will attract pet hair.
B because...it's nice, but it didn't wow me.
The boots velcro in the back.
The Boots - C I think it will always be difficult to put these tall boots on. It's actually harder to take them off. But they look decent enough to not get a failing grade.
The Hair Ties - C+ Like it was mentioned before, two loops is too loose, and three is a bit on the tight side. I still managed to get them to fit, though, but they get the grade they got because although I like the puffballs, I don't want to struggle that much to put them on.
The outfit in it's entirety on a brunette...
...and on a blondie. I think that this outfit looks a lot better on lighter-haired dolls than darker-haired ones. So I'm making this Julie's winter outfit, because her little gauchos aren't going to keep her warm from the harsh Ohio winters.
But, of course, once the coat arrives, the snow has melted and it's 60 degrees outside.

I didn't really expect much when I got my mini-Samantha, but she's actually quite nice. Her hair can get a little wild, but a little bit of brushing fixes that right up. Overall, a cute little thing. [

My accessories set didn't include the hanky, so I won't be touching on that. The little purse is cute, and the penny is nice enough. I tried getting the locket on her dress, but I was having some difficulties and didn't want to get little holes everywhere, so I haven't messed with that in awhile. Now that hat. I love the hat. My dolls can just never have enough hats. A-

I really like this outfit. Not my favorite of Samantha's, but still a nice dress. I purchased this outfit off eBay since I don't have Samantha, and it didn't come with the ribbon or the shoes, so I guess I can't complain about those like everyone else gets to. So I'd give this dress an A. My little Samantha poser, Alex (AGOT #13) modeling the dress.

Ah, my first post here! I hope I'm doing this right... Felicity is a beautiful doll. I was pretty excited when she arrived, since she was my first historical doll. Her hair is a very pretty red, and her eyes are...very, very green. Almost hypnotic. =P I've had her for about two years now, and she's still as good as new. A wonderful addition to my growing collection! A+

I'm glad I bought Felicity before they changed her Meet dress, because it looks a lot better than the Traveling Gown. Anyway, although it might seem a bit plain to some, I really like this dress, and it looks great on Felicity. I'd give it an A.

So far, this is my favorite outfit of Felicity's. The hat is great, the dress is lovely, and Lissie looks very pretty in it. Overall, it's just awesome. (Note: I don't have the slippers.) What I Liked:-The hat. It's not flimsy or cheap in the least. -I thought the ribbon that ties around Felicity's waist would be very thin. It's not. It's thick and feels as nice as her hair ribbon. What I Didn't Like:-The dress is a little thin and looks a bit wrinkly. -Felicity can't wear her shift with this because it sticks out too much. Well, of course she can, but it looks weird. Okay, so when I first saw this outfit, I wasn't too crazy about it. But it's really not so bad. I still prefer Felicity's original meet outfit, though. What I Liked:-The choker. I dunno, I just think it's cute. -It's a nice looking dress. The flower embroidery is pretty and the stripes look good. What I Didn't Like:-It's made of a weird material. I'm not sure what it is, but it's a bit cheap feeling. Same with the cap. -Purple is not Felicity's best color. Grade: B

I used to think that this outfit was too plain and boring, but thankfully I got over that. Lissie looks great in red. What I Like:-Like I said, Felicity just looks awesome in this. I think it really brings out her crazy neon green eyes. -The skirt poofs out. I like that. What I Didn't Like:-The jacket is a little tight and hard to get on. -Same with the mob cap. It's difficult to fit it just so on her head. Grade: A
