This doll is adorable and has beautiful coloring. I give her a solid A+! I love the combination of red hair and blue eyes and had always intended on getting this doll -- it just took me a while. I bought her when the AGB&B in the DC area opened. I named her Virginia in honor of the new AG store located here in Virginia, but she is called Ginny. I've yet to successfully capture her true hair color on camera.

I really liked this outfit when I saw it in the store. It looks like a casual outfit than you might see a girl/teenager/young woman wearing in the winter. I love that the boots come with the outfit and it has a lot of mix and match potential.

Norasroom gave a great review and I agree with everything she said, so I'll just add a few photos of Marie-Grace.

I took these photos of #55 at AGB&B-DC the first day it was open and she was introduced. She has the classic face mold, brown wavy hair and very green hazel eyes. Her wig is very similar to #24's in texture. #55's hair is a dark brown, but not nearly as dark as #41 or #49. She's very realistic looking. I give this doll an A++!

I took this photo of #54 at AGB&B-DC on the first day it was open. #54 has the Jess mold and the same wig as the dolls who have the revised wig with bangs. This in-the-box photo doesn't really do her justice. She looks much cuter with her hair down. I think #54 deserves an A+.

I took this photos at AGB&B-DC the first day it was open. #53 has the Josefina mold and her wig is very similar to #28 other than the color. It is a very pretty ash blond color. I give this girl an A+.

I ordered Lanie online in August of 2010. She's a gorgeous doll. Her hair is a beautiful color and the wig is nice and full. The curls are pretty and not difficult style. Her meet dress is made well and looks like something a 9 or 10 year old girl would wear. The shoes are very cute. I give Lanie an A+!

Esme is a Mattel #10. She's also an MCM doll. I bought her from eBay a few years ago. She's stunning with her green eyes and dark hair.

After Nicki had been retired for over a year, I decided I really wanted her. I bought my Nicki from eBay in April 2009. Her hair was a bit messy. That was easily fixed. I give Nicki a solid A. Her wig is actually very easy to deal with once you know how to do it. The easiest thing is to spritz her hair with water and curl it using sponge rollers. Leave them in at least 24 hours, take them out and just leave the curls as they are. She's one of my favorite dolls. These are actually two different Nickis. I decided I must have Nicki a year or so after she retired. I bought the above Nicki on eBay. I found this Nicki at a yard sale after I had already purchased the eBay Nicki.

This is my new-to-me #28. She is an eBay purchase that arrived today. I love her hair style and think it makes her look very different from Marisol.

This is my daughter's Emily. She was ordered from AG for my daughter's birthday in September 2006, the first year she was released. I think this particular Emily is gorgeous. I love her chubby face and beautiful coloring. Her hair is really pretty but a bit difficult to style since it's so straight. I give her an A+.

This is my daughter's #27, Kendra. She was ordered from AG in June 2007. She has the same dark blue eyes as Kit. This particular #27 has a thin wig, yet it falls beautifully in it's layered style. Her hair and eye color together are very pretty. I give her an A. If her wig was thicker, I'd say A+.

I just wanted to add that we went to AGPNY in the spring of 2005 and my daughter was interested in looking at #4.
All of the ones we saw in the store that year were grayish. This was with the red silky jacket and jeans meet outfit.

The wigs of the girls with the pie bangs were much thicker and nicer in my opinion. I had a beautiful Mattel #4 with pie bangs. She had the most beautiful coloring, but I just never bonded with her. She now lives with someone who really loves her.

This is Hope, my #19 with the original style wig. She's a Mattel girl whom I bought from eBay a year or so ago. Her light brown hair looks very good with the "neon" green eyes, which I like anyway. She also has lovely coloring. I give her an A.

I bought this Mattel #5 on impulse when AG was changing over to the revised wigs in the fall of 2008.
She is a beauty with gorgeous coloring. Her hair is actually much redder than it appears in photos. I give this girl a solid A.

Can someone tell me what the fabric is on this dress? It looks like a denim or a courdory. It's a cotton knit fabric.

I hand-picked my #22 at AGPNY recently. She has beautiful coloring and a chubby face, which is what I personally like and chose this specific doll for that reason. I think her wig is better than the earlier #22s, but it's still thin in the back. It's also a bit difficult to control the flyaway hair on this wig. I do love the color and it's easy to style. I love this doll!

This is my daughter's AGT #3, Olivia Kirsten. She time travels to Kirsten's time and dresses like her. This doll has beautiful hair. I think the AGTs with bangs have the best hair but hers is superb. She has very pretty coloring and is a beautiful dolll
