I just got this outfit for Christmas for my 50s girl Sharon.
I love all the pieces you get with this outfit: Blouse, skirt, socks, shoes, and kerchief.
I was a little surprised by the kerchief. It's actually a square, so I folded it a few times to tie it around her ponytail. I could only tie one knot with it, not a bow.
The blouse's sleeves are slightly more of a sheer material, and as others have said, the same material as the kerchief.
The skirt is soft and quilted. It actually has an elastic waist, and there's no velcro. It is a full circle skirt.
There's nothing much to say about the socks. The saddle shoes are really cute. I didn't really have an issue fitting them over the socks, but I did have to loosen the laces to get them on. Also, they are black and not navy like Molly's.

I just got a new Beforever Addy yesterday. I love the new feathered eyebrows and fancy hairstyle. It's nice that the ribbons in her hair are real and not on an elastic band.
Her dress is beautiful and I thought the width was pretty generous, since I could put a chemise and petticoat under it and it still wasn't tight. One thing that bothers me is the sash/belt around the waist. It moves and shows the seam on the dress. It would have been nice if it was sewn on and didn't move, only because I dislike seeing both the seam and belt at the same time.
The trim on her pantalettes is pretty. It's a different trim than Marie-Grace's.
I'm not as big on her socks and boots. I would have preferred black socks instead of white, and I don't really like her new boots. They don't seem as realistic as her previous meet boots. Something just seems off about them to me. I'm not sure if they changed her skin tone at all, but I was surprised that it looked a lot different than the skin tone of my #1, which might not be as obvious in the picture. Addy's skin is darker and warmer, and #1's is lighter and has more of a gray undertone.

I just bought this outfit yesterday. I think it's really good for Ruthie. The fabric is really pretty and soft. Like others mentioned above, it's good to look at a few of them because the bow can sit differently on each one. I bought the second one I looked at.
I love the matching pink shoes. I put some thin white socks under them, and I had some trouble closing the velcro. My Ruthie is a newer doll from about 2 years ago.
I noticed that the top part above the seam on the chest and the sleeves are shear, so keep that in mind depending on what undergarments your doll is wearing. My Ruthie wears a white full slip, but the necklines lined up pretty well.

I got Lydia on December 29 to be my 1770s girl. I love how she has pincurls and a center part. She's perfect for the time period. I noticed that her body is really squishy, like a PM doll, which I like. She's not as wide as them, but as soft as them.
I also have Mia, who also has hazel eyes, and I noticed that Lydia's eyes are darker, and they look really dark and almost brown in some pictures.
Their hair colors are also pretty similar, but you can tell Mia's is more red and Lydia's is more blond. Sorry for the weird lighting on this one, but you can kind of see.

I have a question about the tights. I'm not sure if this is the right place. You said they are thick. Are they pretty durable, and would you say they snag on velcro easily?

#15 is a doll that I've wanted for a long time. I just got her today, and I really like her. Her name is Francesca, and she is Italian.
I really like her hair. The length and the texture are very nice. I put her hair in braids, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out. Even with the two layers, I was able to braid it to the end with very little pieces sticking out.

I got my JLY 33, Cathleen, with my Christmas money on December 26, 2011 at the AGP in the MOA. I wanted her ever since I first saw her when she came out. Every time I look at her, I'm amazed at how beautiful she is. I really like her feathered eyebrows. I like how her hair color changes a little depending on the light. I haven't had to do anything with her hair, and I love how it stays so curly. Her hair is thick and I was happy that it's just as curly as the stock photo. I originally was going to buy JLY 37, but they were out of stock. I then remembered 33, who I also really wanted. The worker at the AGP said how beautiful her face structure and complexion is, and I thought, yeah, yeah, they're just saying that to sell her, and she'll look the same as my other dolls. I was surprised because she was right. There's something special about this doll that makes her really beautiful that I can't describe. I give her an A+! ETA: More pictures! You can see how long her hair would be if it was straightened. I really like her as a 30s girl! Attachments:

I got my JLY 23, Charlotte, for Christmas in 2009. She's very cute! I chose her because she's very versatile and can look good in a large number of historical eras. I really like her highlights. There are only a couple cons about her. They are both about her hair. One, it isn't as thick and long as it looks in the stock photos. Second, it has layers, and it's very difficult to braid her hair. I guess this shouldn't be a con, because it's just a preference thing. Otherwise, there's nothing bad I have to say about her. One thing I really like about her is that I consider her a "classic" JLY doll, because she's been around for awhile (2004), and she's hasn't changed much, if at all. Also, she seems very popular, and like I said before, she's very versatile. I give her an A+! Attachments:

I got my JLY 11, Angelique on February 22, 2011. How I got her is kind of interesting. I actually got her because of this thread. I never noticed this doll until I looked at the reviews on here. I got her new from Ebay, and she was wearing the I Like Your Style Outfit. I was really surprised at the amazing quality of her hair. It's the most silky hair I've ever seen, and it's very thick. Mine has very little, if any, layers, which made me happy. Her hair also has a little flip on the end, but not as big as 23's. I was scared that her skin would be too light, but it's perfect. She's a little lighter than Kaya. Like another member said above, she's very versatile. She can wear almost any style. Overall, I'm extremely happy with her. I would give her an A+!
