I have this set and I have to say I adore it to pieces. Definitely an A+ in my book. I also love the older set though I don't have it, my aunt found the star chucks on ebay and they're just adorable.
I don't use the belt with anything that has belt loops, but it's one of my favorite parts- I love the closure. I'm a sucker for stuff like that. The belt also can be used as a cute headband.

This was a late birthday present I got for my Aunt and I have to say it's just adorable and she loves it. I, too, wish that they had done the belts more accurately; I feel that this would have been a good chance for AG to put in a little "educational" bit that wouldn't have been terribly difficult for them to actually get right, but I guess they didn't want to bother.
All in all it's very well made and super cute; I'd go so far to say that it would have been worth buying full-price though I only considered it when I saw it on sale!

A
I would give this outfit an A+ if it came with tights and if the ballet shoes weren't such a pain; The shoes are not terribly hard once you figure them out, but before that they're just outright confusing and to be honest I'd have preferred if they just put ribbons in to wrap around and tie; I think those would be easier than trying to yank the elastics on, but then again maybe they decided that kids aren't perfectionists so it wouldn't matter if they had trouble getting everything to lie right.
Past that, though, I adore this little outfit. It looks lovely on pretty much any doll we've put it on here, and when I throw on a pair of cheap white tights I got from AC moore under it, the effect is just lovely. Aside from the ribbons I adore the shoes, and my aunt is a big fan of the little "puff" sleeves.

B+
I got a couple of these when they were on the "going going gone" type sale and I'd say very good value for the money, and I love the track suit itself, as well as the tank top that goes under it. The pieces get an A+ despite the fact that the jacket DOES look odd when worn open due to the zipper.
The thing that bugs me is the shoes; Separately, on their own, they are spectacular. They're adorable, and I love them. But I don't feel they tie in with the outfit AT ALL. They're too bright for the softer colors of the outfit. So as an outfit, it's only a B+ even though I love all the pieces.
Looks adorable on my #30

A+ I have had my eye on this mini doll ever since I noticed Elizabeth; I have a "thing" for her meet gown (I've always had a thing for Felicity's Christmas Gown, specifically the combo that resembles Elizabeth's dress, so to have it in pink..) so when I decided to *finally* get a couple Mini Dolls Elizabeth was on the list. Like all the mini dolls she is a true miniature of the larger dolls; with a cloth body, neck strings, and joints. I love this. My Elizabeth's shoes do not come off very easily, so that is a good thing, and I just love how she looks. Here' s a picture of my #8 in Elizabeth's gown, holding Mini Elizabeth (I love doing these kinds of photos).

I have this mini doll (along with a few others) and I absolutely *adore* her. I love that the mini dolls are REAL miniature versions of AG dolls; I expected them to be all vinyl but, no, they have cloth bodies, neck strings, the whole shebang. Mini Felicity comes with a shift, an adorable little gown (which I think works much better with the mini doll than it does as an actual doll dress; it's essentially the same material with scaled down printing). The shoes on my mini don't come off very easily, which is a plus, and overall I just LOVE her. Here's a picture of my number 8 with the mini-doll in matching gowns: A+!

I got these accessories when the $10 off code was out because I only wanted the bag; And I didn't want to spend that much just on the bag!
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hat was kind of cute, and surprisingly it works fine on my #8; I don't have pictures yet and I'll try it on my Mia as well, but I didn't have much of a problem. That seems to me that it might be something to do with Ivy's hair; You do have to give it a good stretch.
The earrings.. well, I can't use them but they're cute. As is the lucky coin.
The bag though, is just adorable. Mine had the patches SEWN on, which kind of frustrated me to be honest because it means that the front 2 pockets are not fully open. It's incredibly well-made and adorable, and I'm planning on making a bunch of cute little denim bags inspired by this one because I love it *that much* Only criticism is the yellow strap, I wish it were denim because I feel like then it'd go with more things; With a yellow strap I think of the bag as part yellow, instead of just a denim bag with cool patches that could go with anything.
Overall grade A

I got this outfit off ebay and I have to say that it is by far my favorite meet outfit! The sneakers are some of my favorites of all the AG shoes and the jeans, tee, and hoodie are just *perfect* The only complaint I really have is the fact that it's hard to pair everything together without the sleeves bunching, but that's a problem you have with real people clothes so it doesn't change the grade
A+

Uck. Got these, despite hoping for the metal version. Here's my review. Grade: C- I have mixed feelings about these glasses; The frames are indeed plastic and they are rather chunky looking; just like the "Brown Oval Glasses" and I think they're just a bad shape. I wouldn't mind if they were the same shape as the rectangle or the blue glasses, but the oval shape combined with the shiny purple plastic does not make glasses that appeal to me very much. HOWEVER, they don't look that bad on Molly here.. I apologize for the glare; It was nighttime so of course I was indoors and I NEED the flash; Someday I'll have a small multi-lamp set up. I just want something I don't have to take up and down. Just the glasses: All this said.. they don't look *that* bad but gosh, they feel so cheap. All the AG plastic glasses do, when you compare them to the original metal. I realize plastic is going to be lighter and flimsier but DANG! The hinges aren't as "firm" as the metal ones either. I feel they are rather flimsy-feeling compared to other glasses; I feel like with the rectangle ones if I am not SUUUUPER careful, the leg will snap off and I'll be out of luck. It's just disappointing. Edited to add: They look considerably dumber on the doll if her hair is up and she has no bangs; I will add photos of Mia wearing these later when I get them off my camera.

I didn't see this anywhere else so I thought I'd start the topic.
My aunt just got these today and they're ridiculously cute, however.. The doll cannot stand in them. Well, she can, but only if her hips jut forward oddly and she leans backward at the same time. I will take photographs to show this.
For this reason, I give these shoes a C. It seems to me that AG could have wedged the shoes or something to make them standable; she might be OK if on a stand but then the shoes themselves are going to be angled funny since they are actually on a slant and the AG doll's feet are not. They are also a skitch tight on my aunt's brand-new Molly's feet.
You'd think the people in the design team would think of this but sometimes I wonder if they don't actually look at an AG doll when they come up with these things (fit issues).
So, for the price? Not worth it, in my opinion. Yes, they're adorable; But they pretty much ONLY work when your doll is sitting down or being held.

I got this outfit today and I have to give it a B-, overall. I love the skirt and the sweater especially, but the shoes are a total pain to get on in the best of times, and if you try to put them on over socks forget it- at least the ones I had.
And we tried them on several different dolls- my transitional #8, a PM Kirsten, a Mia, and a current Molly- over socks it was all but impossible to get the little shoes on. It's a shame, too, because they're adorable.
One plus is that the design is double-knit into the sweater so it does not have any loose ends which could snag for kids- great playability except for the shoes.

I don't really like this outfit at all as an outfit, but I think pieces of it separately can be *OK*
The boots are cute, and I love those; The tights are just your average everyday AG tights but I like them. The skirt I'm not crazy about, but again, it's well made and I can't really find fault with it other than it's not my style. The cardigan I dislike because the ribbon can come right out and I wish they'd secured it or something. As for the little mock turtleneck it's just personal style but I dislike that, too.
I give it a B; My gut says something lower but I can't justify that based on the fact that it's pretty well made. All in all I feel that some of the AGT/JLY meet outfits are questionable, though.

Just got this outfit today and I am absolutely in love. It's perfect for my modded Kirsten (who I still can't think of a name for). Overall I give it an A-, but only because the leggings were a little difficult to get on due to the lace on the bottom being rather rigidly placed. Oh, and I also feel the neckline is a little awkwardly cut, but then again it is a "funnel neck" which I feel is awkward in real life. Everything else from the shoes to the lunchbag is absolutely stunning.

And here's my review.
First off, I have a *thing* for tennis outfits- the little a-line skirts just hit me someplace DEEP and I adore how cute they look. I don't know why.
Overall Grade: A
Individual Pieces:
Polo Top:- A+ This top is absolutely adorable. I love it and it's definitely going to become a staple in my doll's wardrobe. With the vest, though, I have to give it an A- because it would work so much better if it had short sleeves or something.
Cableknit Vest: A- This is mostly the reason I got the set, but in real life it's not all that. The mock-cable pattern is pretty cute, but I find it hard to get on and it doesn't sit right with the polo shirt. The trim seems like it *should* look nice but it's not great. I still like it though, so that's why it hasn't gone down into B territory.
Reversible Wrap Skirt: A+ I. Love. This. Skirt. This is the second reason I bought the set. Like I said, A-Line skirts. Adorable with a capital A. I love how they did the reversing and that it really wraps; I plan on drafting a pattern based off this skirt and making tons of them. Really only looks good with the flap crossed like it comes packaged, but YMMV.
Sun Visor: B Meh. It looks cute, but it's not anything super special and like pretty much any hat with a visor all it's going to do is shade your doll's face. Cerys looks cute in it but it musses up her hair and makes her bangs even longer so I probably won't use it much.
Golf Shoes: A <3 I love these little shoes. I love them so much with the fringe tucked that I'm almost considering cutting it off completely, but I probably won't because that would be just tragic.
Sports Equipment I don't really feel comfortable grading this because I am flat out not using it. It's still in the packaging and I intend to sell it; I did not buy the set for the equipment but it looks to be good quality. The tennis ball is pretty much a mini tennis ball- fuzzy, and the golf club is heavy and real metal. Everything's fine just not something I'll use.
Hair Elastics Also not grading these- they are what they are; Little "no tangle" elastics. I'm probably going to toss them.
Book Didn't read this; I sometimes wish they offered an option to not get these books because I just know I'm going to accumulate a bunch and never do anything with them. I think I would have liked it as a kid, but I'm 24 now.
Overall, this outfit is 100% worth the purchase price- great quality, and looks completely adorable. I wish they'd make this outfit in all different colors.

Great pictures before so I'm not going to add half of what I took, but here's the photos: Cerys (#8) in the outfit: ^^ These two are my favorite pieces. And since I see that Keri didn't want to switch her golf shoes, I took the liberty of doing it with mine; I like them actually as the regular shoes: I thought it might be difficult to get them switched, and there's a little bit of tugging on the shoelaces but it's not too bad. That's what it looks like with the flap out Off the foot there's really no way to get that flap to stand still, but it all changes once you get them on the doll I'll be honest- I was worried that the flaps were going to make it difficult to get the shoes on but I had absolutely no problem. Socks might change things but I'm not a fan of socks with my AGs anyway. Will write a complete review in my next post.
