I purchased this set for my daughter to play with, and it she has really enjoyed it. There is a lot of play value in all the pieces and the wombat is so adorable! One thing I wanted to add is that the rear gate of the wagon does not stay securly in place during play. For display I can't imagine this being an issue, but with regular play the back kept flipping open.

I actually just purchased these and am seriously thinking of returning them.
IMO the quality is not what I expected. They feel cheap and flimsy. They also don't stay on the dolls very well. They look cute on my Sonali, but Julie can't wear them because they lay crooked and funny. I am comparing them the the much older metal lilac glasses my daughter has, and they are much lesser quality. I am pretty dissapointed.

I thought this outfit was very pretty in person and knew I had to have it for my Elizabeth.
I wanted to mention that this dress is long, slightly past the foot/to the bottom of the foot. I think that is fantastic since IMO AG has been a bit skimpy on length for some time now.

This set was released in 2009 and was originally titled Rebecca's Costume Chest. In 2015 it was revised and no longer included the trunk, after which it was called Rebecca's Costume Set. It retired in 2016.
Rebecca can imagine that she’s a movie star with this mix-and-match costume set! This set features eight costume pieces Rebecca can wear when she dreams of being a movie star: A sleeveless turquoise dress with golden trim at the waist A sparkly overskirt with scalloped edges A matching turquoise headdress Fancy golden wings A knit shawl with a bow at the neckline A double-strand, faux-pearl necklace A pair of cream-colored satin gloves Miniature photos and magazine covers featuring movie stars from 1914 An elegant faux-leather chest with a lid that opens and a removable tray to keep everything organizedSince I have so many pictures, I am going to break up my review into two sections. This first one is just for the trunk. I purchased the trunk mainly because the clothing inside it was so pretty but I also hoped to be able to store Rebecca's clothing inside as well. Thankfully the trunk is big enough to accomodate all of Rebecca's clothing (so far!) with the exception of her movie hat. I have all of her clothing folded in the bottom part with all of her shoes, bows and other accessories on the top removable tray. The trunk itself is not as high quality as I would have hoped. It is not wood, but rather a cardboard type material with faux leather. It feels a bit flimsy and I feel it is on the small side. I do not know how well it would hold up to play but seems like it is a bit fragile. The inside is lined with shelf like paper and comes with a movie photo glued on the inside lid. The trunk also comes with a handful of movie poster cards. overall, I was dissapointed with the trunk but purchased it anyway because of the clothing it came with. If it had been sold seperately I would not have bought it at all. I would give the trunk a C.

I think this dress is lovely on Rebecca. I wish they would have made her a pretty hair bow instead of the hat though... in theory its pretty but practically (as others have said) it does not fit Rebecca. Also, one side is slightly bend up and another slightly bend down. Just thought I would mention this because I called CS when mine arrived worried it had gotten squished in transport. The chocker is pretty and easy to put on. It opens/closes with velcro. I think the dress is pretty without the hat, and that is how my Rebecca will be wearing it! mod edit to remove broken image links

I love love love Elizabeth. She is gorgeous! She looks so gentle and kind. I only have a few things to add to the great reviews so far, but I do have some pictures! I have to say I didn't hate her meet dress as much as i thought I would. I think its rather pretty, though it is definately (IMO) too short. It is just above Elizabeth's ankle. The lace on the sleeves is softer and more of an antique white than it looks in the pictures and I think prettier. Here is a closeup of the fabric print on the front of her dress: And, since I wished there were pictures of this before I bought Elizabeth, here is a closeup of the earings she comes with and her pincurls. As for Elizabeth's wig, I was very surprised to find it had what looked like mesh panels sewn to the standard looking wig cap. Those mesh side panels were not glued down. after posting about this on the board, many members have told me this is normal for Elizabeth. I thought I would post this here so hopefully other people who just recieve her won't worry. I purchased Elizabeth directly from AG and her hair, while incredibly beautiful, does feel just slightly dry at the ends. I know she has the light blue eyes, and when she is standing next to my Emily it's clear they are the same color. However, when you look at Elizabeth by herself, in my opinion her eyes look darker than the standard light blue color: Lastly, I thought I would show what her shift/socks/shoes look like under her dress Her socks go up pretty high, mid thigh or so, but poor Elizabeth is too modest to show a picture of that! LOL! Mod edit to resize images and remove broken image links

This is not an outfit that I personally would have chosen, but it is one my dd absolutely had to have. We saw it at the AGPC store and she loved it. The shirt is a one piece babydoll type swing shirt. the tshirt part is pink jersey and the swing-type overshirt is pink and brown/khaki leopard print. The shorts are brown capri's. They have matching leopard print on the cuffs and an embroidered giraffe on the leg. There is a cute little pink button on each side of the capri's. The shirt and shorts are a stiffer material. The shirt feels like a sheet and the carpi's feel like actual khaki's. The shoes, again, are not the greatest. They are pink sandals but they do not stay on. At least they have rubber bottoms but they are still flimsy. They do not stay on at all. They are shown on the AG website as having a clear elastic backing but mine did not have this. The headband is cute, has a flower on it and when put on an angle fits the bitty twins pretty well. The set also comes with a book that has punch out paper zoo animals. I would give this a B. It would have gotten a higher grade if the shoes stayed on (or were completely different) and the shirt came in two pieces. Again, my 3.5 yr old dd likes this set way more than I do! i81.photobucket.com/albums/j222/sesa70/dolls/stuff516.jpgi81.photobucket.com/albums/j222/sesa70/dolls/stuff529.jpgMod edit to remove oversized, embedded images

I just wanted to add a couple of minor negative points to this outfit.
Though this set is adorable, the scrunchies don't hold up well to play. The orange flowers seem to come undone from the scrunchie thing fairly easily. Also, for some reason, on our dress the collar is constantly coming up while on the doll. I think the sandals are also cute but seem a bit bulky to me.
It is a very cute outfit, however, and one my daughter frequently picks.

We just recieved this outfit for the girl doll.
I think it's cute but nothing exceptional; however my dd really loves it.
My favorite part is the hooded sweatshirt. As a previous poster mentioned it is surprisingly thick and soft. The zipper is great, my daughter loves to zip it up to keep her doll warm. I like that it is not pink, its a fun orange color.
I also agree that the set should have come with socks. I am definately pleased with the shoes as well, the actually have rubber sole and nice orange stitching and details to tie in the set.

This outfit is my least favorite of the two bitty twin tea sets.
I dont have too much to add about this outfit; I agree that the capri's are the best part. I don't mind the hat, I think its cute especially for a toddler doll. The shoes are too big, but are an improvement from the tea party jumper shoes wich are unusable.
My least favorite part of this set is the shirt. I dont like how its fitted at the waist. I wouldnt mind so much for the 18 inch girls, but for a doll that is supposed to be around 3 yrs old, I dont find it age appropriate. I personally would not dress my daughters in something this style, it seems much older to me.
I give this outfit a C. It is not one I see our dolls wearing regularly.

I have to agree that the shoes with this set are absolutely useless. They are flimsy on the bottoms, as mentioned before, it seems like a piece of cardboard between two pieces of fabric. the ankle strap is too big for the bitty dolls and the toe part is not long enough to stay on. I have trouble getting the shoes on the dolls and my daughter (3.5) does not even try. The tag on the sides is really silly looking and the shoes do not stay on through even very light play.
With the excpeption of the shoes, however, I think this outfit is very cute. I actually like the flowers, I think it adds detail to the outfit. I am glad to see that the Tshirt is seperate from the jumper, for me thats an additional plus. The headband is not bad, though I would have prefered to see a cloth wrap-around headband similar to what bitty and the twins have had in the past.
The book is cute, my dd enjoys it and looks at it often.
Overall, I give this outfit a B- due to the awful shoe design.

We just brought 'Lucy' home from AGPC yesterday. Seeing her in person, she reminds me of a todder version of Kaya. She is much prettier in person, though I cannot seem to photograph her well! She comes in the standard denim bitty twin meet dress. It has been photographed and reviewed already so I will just skip to the doll i81.photobucket.com/albums/j222/sesa70/dolls/stuff424.jpgHer hair is straight and about shoulder length. It is dark brown and comes in pigtails. She has the shorter pieces in back typical of dolls with braids or pigtails. It comes down easily and is great for the target age group of girls who want to style doll hair. Pictures of her with her hair down will be coming soon. Her skin tone is beautiful, a nice warm medium. Our favorite bitty doll is still the AA twin girl (Kayla) but ulitmately I got Lucy for dd because of her hair. She couldnt comb the curls on her Kayla doll and it limited her play. Overall I give this doll (not including the meet outfit) an A! i81.photobucket.com/albums/j222/sesa70/dolls/stuff430.jpgMod edit to remove oversized, embedded images

I am really late on this thread too, but wanted to add my opinion.
I purchased this doll for Christmas for my daughter. I think she is absolutely adorable! Unfortunately the one we ordered had a bum eye that kept sticking, so we had to get a replacement and send her back. For some reason my daughter liked the bum eye one better, but thats 3 yr olds for you!
I think her hair is adorable. Unfortunately I have to hide the hairbrush from my daughter because she wants to comb her hair and I think that would make it a poofy mess. She seems to be holding up well to mulitple clothing changes and she also sits way better than any of the other bitties we have had (we have the original brunette and blonde twin dolls as well as a standard bitty baby)
We are definatley happy with her. My daughter named her Kayla. She is adorable!
