This item was released in 2014 and retired in 2019.Julie’s sleepover fun has just begun with this groovy set! An authentic yellow ’70s rotary phone with a dial that really turns, A pretend layered gelatin treat in a fancy parfait glass, Faux celery sticks with peanut butter, Make-believe Jiffy Pop® popcorn, Three pretend deviled eggs, A drinking glass with a cute owl design, Two plates in sunny flower-shaped holders, A pair of hugging monkeys.Julie’s sleepover fun has just begun with this groovy set! $50 My only complaint about this set is that if it for a sleepover, why is there only one drink? I would have skipped the Jello and added a drink, there are two plates. The food is clumped together. I remember these plate holders from the 1970s, they were so goofy! My Gramma had this phone in pink (she was one cool lady!) The dial really works. The drink and the Jello: The Jiffy pop is the same as the old set. The old one is on your left and the new one is on your right. The hugging monkeys are adorable!!! I had these in the late 1970s and their names were Mork and Mindy. There hands have Velcro and they come apart and can be posed in different ways.

This item was released in 2014 and retired in 2018.When Julie rides the trolley on chilly days, she stays toasty warm in this outfit: A bright purple belted coat with big patch pockets and fun faux-fur collar and cuffs, A slouchy beret-style hat to match. When Julie rides the trolley on chilly days, she stays toasty warm in this outfit, $34. I love this coat! It is similar to one I had as a kid, mine was brown. I'd give it an A+. The coat is large enough to wear over the meet outfit and it ties with the sash; it is a thin coat, no good for MN, but would work for San Francisco. I can't tell what kind of fabric it is. The furry collar goes all the way around and coat and the sash attaches to the back so it will not get lost. The hat is a cute knitted beret.

This item was introduced in August 2014. There was an update in 2019, when additional pieces (necklace, petition, clipboard) were included.2019 version: When Julie’s out and about in San Francisco, she always makes sure to bring her favorite accessories: A fun tie-dyed bag to hold her things, A braided headband with a groovy attached flower, Purple-framed sunglasses for true California style, A shiny golden metal “Julie” necklace for extra flair, A petition for Julie to join the boys’ basketball team and a pretend purple wooden pencil for people to sign with, A clipboard to hold the petition with daisy and smiley-face stickers. When Julie’s out and about, she always makes sure to bring her favorite accessories. $24 There is not too much to this set and it is a bummer that the Julie necklace is gone. I'd give this set a C. The set has the headband, bag and sunglasses: The bag is made from cotton, it had elastic at the top. There is just not much to it. The headband is not something I would have worn as a kid in the 1970s, but I lived in a conservative part of Texas. The sunglasses are adorable! They are the only part of the set I really like.

This outfit was released as part of Julie's BeForever revamp in August 2014. It replaced her first Meet Outfit. She comes in an authentic 1970s-style outfit: A lemon-yellow crocheted vest, A tank top with a groovy peace-sign graphic, Bell-bottom jeans with funky floral insets on each leg, Platform sandals, Underwear.Julie loves wearing this bright, sunny outfit when she plays basketball in the driveway. $36 I give this outfit an A. The outfit came with a t-shirt, crocheted vest, jeans, panties and sandals: The t-shirt is cute with the peace sign in flowers (Flower Power!!) The vest is cute and something my Gramma would have made for me in the 1970s. I remember these jeans from the 1970s, my sisters would split the jeans and insert the fabric. The sandals remind me of the Dr Scholl's sandals that had wooden soles. I don't have Julie, so Ivy (my Julie) is modeling the outfit. A girl in the 1970s would have tucked in the t-shirt. The new meet outfit looks good with the old accessories: [/b]

This version of Rebecca's Meet Accessories was released with her BeForever revamp in August 2014.
When Rebecca’s out and about in New York, she always makes sure to bring her favorite accessories: A dramatic hat with a ruched crown and two rows of velvet ribbon trim A velveteen purse on a hand strap A shiny necklace that her grandmother brought from RussiaWhen Rebecca’s out and about in New York, she always makes sure to bring her favorite accessories. $24 Beckie finally gets a purse and a necklace! It's a little sad that there is no hankie or coin. The hat makes the price worth it. The purse, it is made from burgundy velvet with a fancy ribbon: The necklace is pretty and does not close with a clasp, it is more like two curly ends that fit together. The chain is not long and I struggled with it a bit. The hat is so pretty! It is stiff and covered in satin with a velvet ribbon. All decked out:

Rebecca has been released wearing this second version of her Meet Outfit since her BeForever revamp in August 2014. She wears this outfit on the cover of the BeForever book, The Sound of Applause.
She comes in an authentic 1914 outfit: A white dress with a pleated plum herringbone skirt A pretty purple bouclé jacket with a velvet sash, faux pearl buttons, and crisp white collar and cuffs Black tights Cute white bloomers Matching purple shoes with faux-pearl buttons A shiny golden barrette to set off her curlsRebecca loves making people smile when she steps onstage in this beautiful purple dress and jacket! $36 I give this outfit an A: Here is Beckie all dressed up. The outfit fits well over her tushie, the old meet outfit was kind of hard to get over her tushie and she can move her arms up well. Her gold barrette did not come with the separate meet outfit. The shirt is attached to a white tank which is the same as her school outfit. The tights and panties are similar to her old meet outfit tights and panties. The shoes are a burgundy velvet, they are cute, but I am not a fan of colored shoes with black tights. They close with Velcro The jacket is a tweed fabric and the collar and cuffs are cotton, the bow is velvet. The jacket closes with Velcro. The old meet accessories look good with this outfit:

This item is adorable! DD has a loft bed, so we really wanted to get it. It is easy to assemble and the little accessories are adorable. the box is very big and heavy, I was glad we drove to the store vs taking the bus. The cupboard under the bookshelf opens and items can be stored inside. The camera ran out of batteries before I got to the accessories. My score A+. Box compared to doll and 10 year old DD. Box open Item before assembly Elastic things on the board Holder for pencils Ladder is kind of lame. Doll cannot stand on it alone Two dolls having a chat Set up in DD's room DD's loft bed

The pajamas are cute, soft and roomy. The pants do not fall down when McKenna sits down. She cannot stand alone with the slippers on. In these pictures she is leaning on something. The pants have a cute star pattern and both the shirt and pants are made from t-shirt knit. The shirt is a paseball style with her symbol on it and 3/4 sleeves. I give the PJ set an A. No pants dropping! The tags are big. and how approprate that I took this picture next the star DD drew on the floor.

This doll is gorgous! Her hair is silky smooth and very easy to manage. She has no part like Kailey and it can do the 90s waterfall tail. Her meet outfit is cute, but the pants fall down when she sits. Doll A++++, outfit B due to the pants dropping and the colors are a little eh. Pictures: Free gym bag we received at the store: Compared with Chrissa and Elizabeth Kirsten 2 braids, McKenna hair down, Elizabeth 1 braid

My #4 came with the Real Me meet outfit and pie bangs. I got her right after she was discontined (June-11). The PS at the MOA called around and found me one at the Dallas store. DD thinks that is funny since I came from Texas also.
Her hair is very soft and thick. It is not as stiff as Ivy's hair, it feels similar to Mia's hair.
This doll is super cute in person. It is sad that this mold was discontinued.

I got this lunchbox when it was part of the cyber Monday sale in 2009. DD has used to tote her lunch to school since Christmas 2009 & it still looks good. I have washed it a couple of times in the washer on cold-delicate cycle & let it air dry.
DD brings a lunch to school maybe once a week during the school year & everyday to school for school holidays & summer break. Her school has daycare right at the school.

I bought this today at the MOA store & it is really nice. It is made out of sturdy wood. Measurements: 20"/50.5cm tall; 18.5"/47cm wide; 4"/10cm deep Album link: picasaweb.google.com/HolleyMN/DollDisplayCase#The back does not have a hanger. DH thinks he can put some one, the ones with teeth. The books fit in front of the dolls. More can fit in the huggy pose. The 12 stands do come with the self & they are plastic, but work well. The stands hold their legs vs holding at the waist. My DD discovered the stands hold Sari up also (Sari can also wear mini clothes over her clothes). I think they did not add a hanger because it could get heavy hanging on a wall. mod edit to combine double posts

"Your girl can dress her doll for a big day on campus at Innerstar University™! This comfy outfit features: A fleece hoodie sweatshirt with an Innerstar University graphic Cozy athletic pants with a faux-tie at the waist Canvas sneakers with butterfly graphics at the toes A “Confident” round charm for the doll’s charm-keeper necklace" $24 The pants have stripes down the side & a fake drawstring They are a little low in the back The hoodie is made from tee shirt material. The U is a silkscreen & the pocket is real. It velcros in the back. It goes over the head like the star hoodie. With the hood down. A pony tail can stick out of the back. The fabric snags easily from the velcro! I'm sure young hands will damage it. The shoes are adorable!!! They are slip on shoes with a cute butterfly silk screen on them. This outfit is tight on my PM Jasmine (#15). The shoes were too small.

"My American Girl™ dolls can get set for a great day at Innerstar University with everything in this set: A cozy hat with an Innerstar University™ patch A green binder with a fun graphic and plastic rings that really work A three-hole-punched notebook with flower and butterfly graphics on the cover A doll-sized Innerstar University library card Three faux dollar bills for “buying” snacks on campus A purple knit messenger bag to carry it all $24" The hat: the U is embroidered on a patch which is sewn on the knitted hat. On a doll The bag is knitted with a cloth liner that is tee shirt material. Here is how it looks on a doll. The binder is made of covered cardboard It has a clasp in the middle which can hold the butterfly notebook that comes with the set. The notebook The money & library card. So glad they came back out with the library card! Compared to doll hand The back of the library card has a space for a signature & the Inner U website address. Everything but the hat fits in the bag, but the bag does not close with the binder in it. Julie shows how the flap doesn't close with the binder in the bag. It's a cute set. I am disappointed the bag will not close, but not enough to give it a low grade. I also think it is priced well. Grade: B+

"Your special girl can make her doll’s smile dazzle with this set, featuring: Three sheets of stick-on braces to “straighten” her teeth Headgear that fits in her mouth, with a comfy cushioned neck strap A pretend retainer inside a frosted blue case A faux electric toothbrush to make her smile shine $14" The set is hilarious!! I just love it. The braces are stickers, I have not opened them yet since this is to be for Christmas. The headgear has thin velcro to fit across the neck vs the head like a people headgear. The headgear fits PM dolls Here is how it looks on Chrissa The toothbrush has real bristles. The retainer does not come out of the case, but the case top comes off. Dolls will not be able to hold the toothbrush without assistance. I give this set an A. If it had toothpaste, I'd give it an A+++. It is very unique and I could not pass it up esp for under $20.

"Your girl can pretend it's a day at the beach with this surf and swim set. $32" My daughter bought this set recently. It is very cute & she loves to play swimming on a blue sheet. I'd give the set an A+ for playability & what you get in the set. The set matches the 2 in 1 Surf Swimsuit modeled above by Mia & Olivia (#23). The set comes with flippers which do fit the doll & are easy to take on & off; a swim mask with snorkel, sun glasses, sun screen, a swim bag and a towel The towel is not as tall as the doll, but wide enough for two. It is a nice thick towel, not as thick as a people towel, but not super thin/cheap. The mask is a hoot! The nose part covers the doll's nose & it does not seem so tight as to leave a mark. The snorkel does not fit in the doll's mouth. Everything but the mask fits into the swim bag. The swim bag is made out of a thicker fabric that many people bags are made from. It is thick enough that it will not tear. The doll can hold the bag over one shoulder, like a back pack or across the chest (like in the first picture).

I bought this outfit off ebay & it is super cute. It fits my PM doll & nice for her to have a costume that fits.
It is a very unusual outfit & I think that is why I like it so much.
