I bought Addy's Heartwarmer and slippers for my Kirsten. My Kirsten needed something warm to snuggle up in, but I didn't want to pay Ebay prices for her Housecoat and Sockor set. I thought Addy's set looked like something Kirsten's mom could make. Now Kirsten is all nice and cozy. Kirsten Heartwarmer 1 by Elizabeth, on Flickr She esp likes the slippers. I got Kirsten's nightgown for Christmas so mine is from the end of the line. When I first looked at it I was surprised that bow on the neckline was yarn and not ribbon. To me it made it look homemade. But after I thought about it I realized that ribbon would be scarce out on the prairie. They could make yarn from sheep's wool, but ribbon would be harder to make/get. So the homemade feeling I was getting was historically accurate for Kirsten. It just didn't quite feel like AG quality to me. For that it gets an A-. These pajamas are my absolute favorite piece from Kit's collection. Even though I don't have Kit (YET!) I want to make sure I got them before they were gone for good. Here they are modeled by my new Lanie doll. Lanie in Kit's pjs 1 by Elizabeth, on Flickr Lanie in Kit's pjs 2 by Elizabeth, on Flickr I was really surprised that the pajamas were all one piece instead of a top and pants. I guess I should have read the reviews first. I still love it. It's so cute! The slipper are easy to get on and off. The pom poms should stay on as long as my cats don't get a hold of them. My Lanie finally came yesterday! *happy dance* I already love her to bits. Lanie meet 1 by Elizabeth, on Flickr Lanie meet 2 by Elizabeth, on Flickr Her meet outfit is so CUTE! I haven't had that much trouble with her headband. I've had it off and on a couple times. It's takes a bit of work to get it back on, but it's not that hard. For those of you that have had trouble, I think the elastic just needs to stretch out a bit. Lanie is my first curly haired doll so I'm still learning how to handle her hair. My favorite part about her right now is that you can fold the skirt of the dress up underneath to make it a shirt. Being a HUGE Disney fan I *had* to get this set just for the Mickey Mouse flip book. But I love the whole set. It's all so cute!

I also have the PM version with the snaps on the shoes. I've never had any problems with the shoes being too small. And I really like the red socks!

I got my saddle shoes in '94 or '95. They fit my Molly just fine. I've never had any problems with the soles coming off. I wanted them because Molly needed some "play" shoes. And I liked these better than the brown oxfords. I had a pair of saddle shoes when I was 8 or 9, only mine were black and white.

I've always loved this set. I mainly got it for the roller skates. I don't care if they're mostly plastic. Molly just wanted her skates. I always thought the set was fairly high quality. A+ SailorMolly

This dress is one of the reasons that I picked Molly as my first AG doll. I got this dress in 1994, pre-Mattel. It's a beautiful, high-quality dress. I wanted the one for me too, but mom couldn't afford the $95 price tag. 30s 40s Christmas 3 by Elizabeth, on Flickr A+++ SailorMolly

I recently bought this outfit off ebay. I *LOVE* everything except the ribbon. You are supposed to use it to tie Molly's braids back so they don't fly around while she's skating. But the ribbon isn't long enough and too wide. I wasn't even able to tie a bow. Molly roller skating 5 by Elizabeth, on Flickr Her shoes were a little too tight at first. But after I took them on and off a few time they seemed to loosen up some. I agree with the doll sized shoe horn comment. That's EXACTLY what I was thinking the first time I tried to put her shoes on. Kit roller skating outfit 1 by Elizabeth, on Flickr I didn't buy the blue version of the skates. I already had the skates from the Party Games set. So I couldn't see spending $25 - $30 on another pair just because they were a different color. So I can't review them. Maryellen roller skating 1 by Elizabeth, on Flickr I give the outfit an A-. SailorMolly
