This is an ABSOLUTE MUST for any collector! Mainly because most of the stories have had something to do with a Garden. (Molly's Victory Garden, Kit's Garden with her Aunt etc etc) I LOVE this set! You have to glue the top part of the hoe on to the stick (it sort of screws in then you glue it) The watering can RUSTS VERY EASILY! I was showing my kiddo that it really does work and put water in it and didn't get every single drop dry and a day later there are a couple rust stains inside. GRRR. So note of caution, DO NOT PUT WATER IN IT unless you plan on making sure it is completely dry each time! Grade: A+!!!

Here is Kirsten wearing the dress, I'm not a huge fan of the headband, mainly because I am not a fan of headbands in general and poor Kirsten... she only owns 1 pair of shoes

*This outfit was worn by Felicity in the DVD Felicity: An American Girl Adventure*Includes:- Tea lesson gown - Straw hat - Slippers I really love this shade of yellow, it isn't too bright and pastel-ish, but its not too dark either. The coral pink details accent the yellow very nicely. The dress is actually two shades of yellow, a darker yellow backdrop with lighter yellow stripes. The straw hat is very cute, although I feel its a little "too frilly". I don't like the slippers all that much, it just made the whole outfit "too matchy", I think slippers in a neutral tan almost yellow would have looked nice and instead of rosettes on them, a brocade design in a stitch that slightly contrasts the slippers would have looked lovely. The slippers do stay on well enough, they're not just soft cloth, they are a bit stiff since they don't have backs to them. Rating: A Photos: (dead image link removed)

The set is porcelain and brilliant white with gold filligree detail and pink brushed petals motif. It's really very precious and so girly! I absolutely love it! The tea cups do not have handles and the tiny silver sthingys are just darling! The silver platter is VERY shiny almost like a mirror and there is an scroll like engraving on it. It was hard to capture that. I purchased it along with Samantha's party treats and they both go really well together! My only disappointment is that there isn't something more unique about this tea set than purchasing another tea set that can fit 18" dolls. Which is why I really loved the now retired Chocolate Set! Overall Rating: **** 1/2 The set includes all the above pictured (and 3 Cards, not pictured) Top View of Set (right cup down) Tea Cup down and close-up Close up of tea cup and saucer and the adorable tea box/caddy Detail of Teapot. I love how round it is! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope the photos and review was helpful in your decision to add this to your collection! But it's just fun to look at the photos too
