My daughter loves this bracelet - so far it's the only item from Lanie's collection we own. She uses is as a necklace for Kit: Cute item - A

This is my favorite dress in Kirsten's collection. I love the fabric - rich, soft and thick. Plus it's gorgeous on K's coloring. I purchased this secondhand so I can't comment on the shawl, since we don't have it, but I am in love with the dress. Well made and beautiful, I highly recommend it for your Kirsten!

Adding my own pics: I love the set - very soft and pretty. It's a bit steep price-wise but a nice set. Must-have for Rebecca.

I ordered and received Sonali in March of 09. She is definitely a huge favorite. Her hair reminds me of a silkier Marisol wig. It is very soft and bouncy and isn't dry so it doesn't tangle easily, and there are so many fun ways it can be styled. There are little shorter hairs to prevent the wig cap from showing when it's pulled into ponytails so it looks nice from all sides. Her torso cloth has the kind of light-reddish color that the other darker dolls have - I would personally like to see a less dramatic color difference between the vinyl and cloth. Her meet outfit is adorable and versatile. I'm not too crazy about her shoes, but those were the first thing my daughter liked. Also, the book is great. It is fully illustrated and has nice glossy pages full of practical ways to make and keep friends. I think my daughter will actually read and apply a lot of the suggestions. In the back there are little page-sized "posters" that can be detached and hung in a room. Each one has a little quote or something inspirational written with a picture. I was actually very impressed with this book. I think it is great for children who are on the younger side (my daughter is 7), or like having suggestions on friendship-building. I definitely recommend the doll and the book - the quality and uniqueness are great with this set. A+++ And of course, pictures:

On the website: Item# F4888 These novelty-sized, roomy backpacks each feature flower embroidery and a single padded strap that drapes across the body, plus adjustable closures. The girl’s pack is roomy enough to carry a few special items inside or in the handy front pocket. Nylon. Imported. Magenta. Girl-sized pack: W: 9" X H: 9" X D: 2 ½"; Doll-sized pack: W: 4 ¼" X H: 4 ¼" X D: 1 ¼"Don't have my own pics but these are from the site as well. Both: Girl's: Doll's: We got this set when it went on sale in December - you cannot beat the $10 price-tag. If you like this a little, get it. It is totally adorable and they get super flat so they are not a pain to store/travel with. The "adjustable enclosures" are the wide bands of velcro that secure the magenta straps). The material is kinda on the thin side which is IMO the biggest complaint - I guess I just expect more from AG. So that's the drawback. The positive: My daughter loves it. She's two and a half and the single velcro strap is very easy for me and my 6 year old to put onto her. She loves matching bitty baby and since they are so lightweight and simple, there is low frustration factor for her to carry it around and use on her doll. This is important because my toddler has a very short fuse, so I am very appreciative of things that are fun and easy for her to play with. Both packs can easily hold things for toddler and baby. I give this set an A.

What an adorable mini. I think she is one of the sweetest. I never wanted 18" Nellie, but mini Nellie is fantastic. Here's some pictures:

My dd got this doll as a gift this week from my SIL. She is just freaking adorable. I love her and so does my daughter. The little book is great, the mini box is too, and the doll is even prettier than her 18" counterpart. The Josefina mold works great in mini - so her face is too too cute. I definitely recommend her.

This is another of AG's all-time great makes, I think. The wool is very very thick and the scarf is well-made and beautiful. I do not have the skates so I cannot review them but I am thrilled with the rest of this outfit. If you have the chance to get it on ebay or somewhere else, you will not be disappointed.

Bennett

Original Pleasant Company Bennett I recently acquired this version of Bennett from a lot off CraigsList. Hmmm.... what to say... This is an odd little guy. He does not seem pet-like, rather stuffed-hunting-kill-like. My dad's man-room is full of little things like this. I am not sure I would ever attempt to keep this little guy considering we have two cats and one dog who would love a shake at him. But the oddest thing is his little eyes - they are quite scary and bugged looking. So I guess it is off to ebay with him! So if you are looking to complete your Molly collection, buy the newer one. This one hardly seems a pet, or even a toy, for that matter.

This is a GREAT set! I am SO happy I got it. The highlights are by far the ukulele, the necklace, and the flower leis. The beaded necklace alone make the set IMO. The bathing suit is very cute, as well as the skirt. I think the snaps on the bathing suit are flimsy but that may be just me. Especially with the reduced price - the set is well worth the $18. If you like it, or some parts of it - get it. It is a great set.

My dd ordered this with her birthday money and they are wonderful. We had a pair of the ac moore skates to go with her performance outfit and the ag skates are 300x better. The real metal blades, the blade covers, the cute colors, everything - make them well worth it. And they come in a shoe box like the other shoes, which is also a plus. Definitely worth the $$. A+++
ETA: The colors are more vibrant than the flash really shows... they are not as sugary colored.

Elizabeth is probably one of the most photogenic dolls I have seen from ag. She really is a pretty doll. My dd has her and I have Felicity. Being only 6, she loves her Elizabeth especially for her blond hair and pink dress (lol - the two things people get most upset about). Her dress is a little bizarre considering her historic significance, but it works. And does appeal to my younger dd, as I said. Her hair can be difficult... the length and slight dryness makes it very tangled and comes out when brushed. Having said all that - she is gorgeous. A very pretty and fun doll to play with and display. I give her an A- (only because the hair is rather dry and difficult)

I wasn't a child of the 70s but rather the 80s so I cannot speak for Julie per se... but our lunches were exactly like that. The one major exception would be the pattern used on everything. By the eighties, everything had gravitated to licensed characters like she-ra and gi joe. But the actual food was exactly the same. So I think it is a perfect accessory and one we will most definitely be getting.

Another great outfit. I am very picky about doll clothes and this is only the third outfit I have ordered from ag. This outfit is fantastic and will be a favorite around here for a long time - I am sure. It is pretty, durable, and the necklace is cute. A few cons (in my opinion): Does not come with shoes (hello ag...) Necklace clasp is a little fragile and I expect I will have problems with it before long Floral print does not go all the way around the dress Did I mention that it does not come with shoes?... The hat is ok - not really my style - but then, neither is much from that time period. I would have preferred a less square top to the hat but that's ok. So anyway - nevertheless I still love this dress. Here are some pictures of it on my Nicki - and I bought the casual clogs just for this dress. They are a PERFECT match and I will probably keep them together as a set. I give this set a B. Mainly because I had to spend another $10 to get shoes for it. Ag has sooooo many pink things that it's not like I had a pair of shoes sitting around that really work with this dress. If you have Julie, keep a close eye on those meet shoes cause you are gonna need them... If you like this outfit - get it. You won't be disappointed - it is sweet as pie. And if it had shoes, I would give it an A+, but as it is, I give it a B.

Alrighty - I took the plunge. Well, we had a credit so I used it for Mia's furniture. I fell in love with this set when Mia's first catalogue came out and pretty much, what you see is what you get. There are no surprises - the first poster put in some great photos and I won't even try to add onto them. The blue parts are metal and everything is well made - including the chair. I am very pleased with it - particularly since ag furniture is sooooo expensive. This is the first piece of furniture we have purchased from ag for that very reason. But this is a great value and in some ways very versatile. While I am not complaining, if I were king for a day, these are the few things I would have changed: Painted the metal trim white or left it silver ~ I understand the furniture was meant for Mia but either of those colors would have worked and both would have been more versatile. Even black would have been ok, IMO Took out the third side and added an additional piece to replace missing section. Or maybe this would've defeated the purpose. But This is simply high-maintenance to display. Unless it is the only doll furniture you intend to ever own (which would be understandable) you have to dedicate floor space or a large table to it to really enjoy all three sides. As it is we have a very small house and it currently resides on my night-stand. (though my glasses fit perfectly on top of the closet - lol) So it does not work well in a pre-constructed doll house. One section will simply go unused. I will probably keep the storage space to the wall and just pull it out a bit to reach things. I would have preferred something that could back up to a wall so that I didn't feel like I was only ever using 2/3 of the item. But that is a personal preference - and the only reason I got this item in spite of that, is because I know in a couple of years we will move and therefore have more space. And I do NOT want to pay ebay prices for an item this large - ugh. Having said all that - I absolutely love it. The little window cut-out shelf thing is my favorite part - the magnetic closet door shuts perfectly. I love the shelves and mirror and the bed part is very well made. There is nothing generic about this item - it is quite nice and IMO, the best furniture deal ag currently has. If the set appeals to you, you will be pleased with it. I liked it before I bought it, and I like it in person - definitely an "A" Thank you ag for making something I could finally "afford." LOL

I recently got this new from ebay and it is great. We have Kailey's beach snorkel set and boogie board so if you are familiar with those then you pretty much know what this set will be like. Very cute colors, I love the sunglasses, the set also comes with removable hawaiian decals for the surfboard. The towel is just like the larger girl's version and it is so sweet. The surfboard is the most impressive item - it is heavy and sturdy and slick. I will post photos later - I haven't taken any yet. You do get a lot for your $$ considering it is ag.

I love mine - I bought it off a lady on this board and it is too cute. Plus, we have a homemade desk with the computer set on it, and I just push the doll right up to the computer in the chair and it works that way, too. I will have to post pictures, in case that sounds too odd - because it really does work. And DD's Elizabeth can be found all over the house fixed to anything that will hold the seat!! LOL
BTW - I love the car seat idea as well.
But if you were thinking of purchasing one on ebay or whatever, and you really like it, then get it - I love ours!!!

One collar is solid rhinestones, is a complete circle and stretches to fit over her head. The other kitty came with a black ribbon collar with rhinestones sewed onto it and it velcros around her neck. That is interesting. I got the black collar with the velcro with ours. She arrived yesterday and I LOVE her! I had seen coconut and I like Licorice much better. She has a cool clicky-posable tail and her little puff ball and bed are adorable. My daughter named her "Figaro" - after the Disney kitty I give her a B. But only because I think the whole fur-covered blob thing is a little weird. I would get another Licorice before getting a single coconut... I think she's more interesting.

I just received this outfit, and the quality is great. I agree with the above posters who mentioned that this will probably snag very easily. I love it that AG finally included some skin-tone tights to keep dolly legs from freezing. I'm going to give this outfit a B for two reasons: 1 - I think it won't have much longevity due to the delicacy of the fabric 2 - I think $28 is a bit steep for what you get. Considering it's only an outfit and a pair of tights, I would price it between $22 and $24. I couldn't have said it better. It is a stunning outfit (our Mia is sporting it right now). I think the color is much more attractive with Mia's coloring than the pink meet sweater. The embroidery and sequins are impressive and the bodice fabric is awesome. I too worry about the snagging... and think the price would be more appropriate if it were to come down a few dollars. But it is completely adorable and if you like it - I would recommend getting it. It would be hard to be disappointed with it once you decide to spend the money on it!! lol btw - my dd likes to use Mia's pink meet tights with the outfit - kinda cute since it does have a little bit of pink trimmings.

My daughter received this for her birthday this week and I pretty much agree with everything monimarine said. I would give it a B. Personally, I would probably rate it at a C but my daughter has played non-stop with it so her inevitable A balances us out. Keep in mind though, she is in kindergarten so this is the first electronic she has had. LOL An older child may find it lame - I don't know... I was very interested in this one because it is hard to find things appropriately doll-sized... but I am a little dismayed that this computer is a little too small to fit the dolls proportionately. It should actually be bigger - and the tower is just plain bizarre. It does not even connect to the other parts of the computer - it just kinda sits like a really lightweight paperweight. I was hoping there would at least be a place to store the discs - as it is I give her a month to lose them - even with one inserted, you still have another just sitting "unprotected" on the desk. And I have been working all year on getting her to put her cd's away properly. It's a little thing - but geez.. who puts their cd's on the table? And I agree - the tower should have more detail - like I said - it is just bizarre. The best thing is the fact that the computer does actually work, and the mouse is cute (though it is for show only) but for $35, you would hope it would be a little more like, I don't know, say, a computer. Worth the sale price - not worth the full price IMHO.

Mia arrived today - I LOVE HER! She is a gorgeous doll. For that I give her an A. I am definitely not in love with the pink sweater. I think the meet outfit is a little odd but the individual pieces will be cute separately with other outfits. I think the cutest part of her outfit is the way the sweater kind of mittens-over her hands. She will definitely be changing clothes very soon! lol I do love her 2-in-1 out fit - though I haven't ordered that yet. Her hair is thick - (reminds me of Felicity's - but NOT in color)... the color is stunning and unlike any other doll. The braid is VERY secure and thick, as well. Her eyes are gorgeous and deep deep hazel - I love the light freckles. And she has a one-up on Nicki - considering that she actually has UNDERWEAR!!! LOL
