This picture is a few years old, but my younger daughter was determined to take a carriage ride! This is a really sturdy piece.

Ruthie came in the mail yesterday. I took a few pictures of her before taking her head off to send her to a board member for an eye-swap with Elizabeth. I bought Ruthie for her lovely gray eyes, but do plan to keep her after the swap. I plan to sell her meet outfit as she will be a modern doll, but I do really like the color and pattern of the dress. The shoes are also really nice. I am a little concerned with how dry her hair is right out of the box and I expected it to be more curly. I'll mess around with it some once she's back from "surgery". The photos are straight out of the box. I just got a Ruthie for one of my daughters on eBay. She is in nice shape, but her hair is also really dry. What did you do to get your Ruthie's hair feeling better? I actually sold her b/c I couldn't stand that hair!

I have loved this outfit for years, but was unwilling to pay the high prices that it typically goes for on ebay. I got lucky and found an adorable Kit who came with a few clothes for a fair price. She had these overalls, but not the rest of the outfit. Luckily we have some basic shirts and boots that look just fine with them.

My mom bought this outfit from eBay for my daughter. It is a little snug on all of our dolls. It's very cute! I love the hat. The strings are long enough that it can be hung on the dolls back. I'm not a huge fan of the belt. It's cute, but too short to easily Velcro.

I got it in a lot on ebay. The dress could possibly pass as pajamas. I'm not wild about the shoes. My dolls stand in them just fine, I just don't really like them. There's nothing wrong with this outfit, but I ended up gifting it to a little girl who plays with my daughter. ~mod edit to remove dead image links~

The cash register is not attached to the counter whatsoever and it can be moved around to wherever you want. I have the ice cream parlor, bought it when it first came out. Maybe the in-store model that you saw had the cash register stuck to the counter-top for safety? Mine isn't. Completed separate. Mine isn't attached either.

I bought this during the 20% off sale. It was definitely worth the price I paid. The detail is amazing! I think that this will provide hours of play for my seven year old! I have it set up alongside the Sweet Treats Bakery Case and the matching table and chairs. This set up gives room for lots of dolls to play!

I really like this outfit. It's much easier to put on than I expected. There are small pieces of Velcro where the apron straps join the back of the skirt. My daughter loves the shoes.
We like the bow detail on back! Since the shirt and apron are separate, you can also pair it with a white or pink shirt and that's really cute as well!

I've liked this outfit for a long time, but hadn't been able to find it at a good price. I finally found an ebay deal right after Christmas. Ava-Grace (my modern Marie-Grace) has claimed it because the ribbon on the dress perfectly matches her hair ribbons. The skirt wrinkles easily and I need to iron it, but I still think it's cute!
I agree that the shoes are a nightmare to get on the doll's feet, but once you wrestle them on they are really cute!

I try to only buy clothes for dolls that I would buy for a little girl. This would be a perfect Easter or church dress for either. The material is not as soft as it looks and is actually sort of scratchy. It is a really gorgeous dress, though! I love the emroidery and the fluttery sleeves. Elena, my modern Elizabeth, claimed this dress for her wardrobe. *mod edit to remove dead image links*

I will say that Marie Grace's face mold is not my favorite, BUT it looks better in person than it does photographed. My daughter is already getting another doll for Christmas this year, but I couldn't pass up a sale with a brand new doll for $50 especially since my daughter has expressed interest in MG. My favorite thing about this doll is her eyes. I also like the original braided hair style, but I'm not sure how I feel about the pin curls. I love Elizabeth's pin curls, but they are much more dainty than Marie-Grace's "bushes".
I'm sure there is some variation with the wigs, but my Marie Grace has the same hair color as my Marisol.

I didn't get into AG until 2010 so, of course, I missed the opportunity to buy Marisol new. I've always liked her, but ebay prices tend to be high. I had looked at #28, but never took the plunge. I found a Marisol on ebay who had been sent to the doll hospital for a new head. I paid what I would have paid for a new doll, but I don't regret it. Her hair is awesome! I'm a huge fan of the Josefina mold and medium skin tone. I sold her meet outfit before I thought to take any pictures because it just isn't my taste.

I've really wanted this outfit since it first came out. The neckline doesn't bother me. I wanted to use the necklace as a choker, but it tends to get caught up in the doll's neck seam if I put it on too tight. I love the color, especially with Marisol's skin tone. It looks like something a young girl would actually wear. *mod edit to remove dead image links*

I bought Kailey as a gift for one of my daughter's friends. I bought her used from ebay. The little girl thinks that Kailey is Julie after seeing Julie in one of my catalogs and I haven't corrected her. The hair and eye color is very simillar so the biggest differences are the hair style and the face mold. Kailey's lack of bangs or a part is unusual and if Kailey were part of my collection and I could keep the braids looking neat, it would be fine. The girl Kailey belongs to plays with her a lot and the braids either get messed up or taken down. I don't care for her hair without the braids. With that said, the braids are fairly simple to put back in. Her meet dress is really cute!

I really like the flower pattern, but I wish the fabric of these PJs wasn't so thin. I think it's a realistic set. The bell-sleeves are pretty cute. I don't have the slippers, but I wish I did. Rose's feet might get cold!

This is one of my daughter's favorite pieces. We don't have the shoes. We use the shoes from the Real Me meet. We also sometimes pair the shirt with the purple capris from that meet outfit. The shirt also looks cute with the jumper and boots set in place of the green long sleeve shirt. This is a very versatile outfit and great to mix and match. *mod edit to remove dead image link*

Like most of my AG stuff, this was purchased used. The tights are full of runs so I don't think they'll get much use. I think this set is almost like getting two outfits. There is a lot of mix and match potential, too. The only complaint I have is that without the jacket, the tank top is pretty skimpy. ~mod edit to remove dead image links~

My #21 was purchased used and her pincurls seem to have been brushed out. I almost purchased this doll for my step-daughter nearly three years ago, but decided to get Lanie so that she would have some books to go with her doll. I've always been drawn to #21, and in person she is lovely. I did think that Lanie was the prettier of the two. I love the unique color of her hair. The length and the texture makes her hair so different from any of my others. It looks good up or down. A lot of people here have mentioned how versatile she is and I have to agree! This girl is timeless!
Her hair looks really cute in pigtails, too!
I had intended to use #21 as a sister for #38, but after getting overwhelmed by dollies and underwhelmed by this one in particular #21 went to live with another board member. I think I would have liked her better with her pincurls.

I've wanted this outfit for a really long time, but it always seems to go for a lot on ebay. I got lucky and found it and another outfit I've wanted in a lot for a pretty reasonable price. I love it and it does have a lot of mix and match potential! I think this looks particularly great on the hazel eyed dolls. *mod edit to remove broken image link*

My daughter's #38, Trixie was purchased from a board member. Her ears are pierced. She is the only doll either of us own with bangs or freckles. I adore her hazel eyes. Her hair is very silky, although the color is more of a strawberry blonde than a true red, it is a realistic shade.
A shot with the #21 I had purchased and intended to use as Trixie's sister.
#21 didn't stay with us long, but #38 is a keeper!

I think these are really cute an I love the detail on the trim. The color is beautiful! I don't like the little buttons on the top. I can barely manage them as an adult and I don't see them being easy for a child to button.

I got this as part of the cyber monday sale as an extra outfit and never expected it to be my daughter's favorite, but it is! This is the easiest outfit for her to get on and off without my help. The corduroy pants are super soft and the shirt looks like something a little girl would actually wear. I actually like the shoes a lot, they're unique, but I doubt we'll find another outfit they'll go with. A+

Here are a few photos of our #39, Rose getting ready for her ballet classes! I really like the look and color of this outfit, especially the rose detailing, but the snaps are more difficult than velcro for younger children. We used the headband from the True Style Outfit (it matches the lighter pink roses perfectly). The shoes aren't accurate, but they are cute! B+

I really like this! My daughter received this for Christmas along with her first doll and several outfits. I purchased it off ebay. The bedding is reversable, it has the moon and star theme on the other side. The only complaint I have is that the battery connection is a little touchy. After moving it to her bedroom from under the Christmas tree, I had to remove the battery door and wiggle them around to get the lights to come back on. I think two or three dolls would be really cute displayed on top. If anyone is interested, the stickers peel off easily (a little too easily for my taste).

I have the same type Ginger as Cobaltcat. She came without a collar and with the Ginger's Spice of Life Crafts book. My Ginger was purchased from ebay. My daughter has renamed her Pirate. I think you can figure out why! I think she's a really cute kitty!
