I got the lilac glasses earlier this year for Mischa, since she's my modern AG lookalike. They're wicked cute and the style is similar to pairs I've had/have. The only thing I don't like about them is that they mess with Mischa's left eyelashes by squishing them a bit so that eye either won't close or won't open, until I move them out a bit. But in order for that to not happen, they either have to sit lower on her nose/cheeks or not really rest on her face at all(like on her nose and cheeks). Other than that I like them a lot. A-/A.

I got these recently, from AGB-Boston and they're cute. At first I wasn't sure about them because some photos/lighting seem to make the lighter part a brighter yellow and I didn't like that. In person they're actually not as bright which is good. They do seem more fragile than the metals ones but I'm used to that anyway since I wear glasses myself. I do agree that these glasses are better to pick out at a store yourself, if you can. Some pairs are more stripey and have more of the lighter color than others, however, because of all of the variations in the patterns, no two pair are exactly alike. Here they are on Shirley, my custom #21:

The spring gown never came with shoes. Thanks. I guess there was a batch of holiday gown shoes with poorly glued snaps. The holiday gown's shoes don't have snaps; they have a blue bow that is sewn on. There are also shoes just like them which do have snap-on bows and which came with her shoes and socks set. Can someone measure the length of one of the straight pins? I lost mine long ago and I have some that might work but I'm not sure if they're too long or not.

I LOVE my Kit, she's a sweet looking doll! My Kit's hair is longer in the front on one side then the other, and it's very noticable with her hair down from the elastic that she comes with, Is it normal for there to be such a big difference? If it is normal, then does anyone know why? My Kits hair is the same way so I'd assume that it is normal! I'm not sure when they starting making the front of the one side a tad longer; the older Kits don't have it but the newer ones do.

I picked out my Kit on May 6th, 08 at AGPNY; I had planned for a little over a year that she would be the doll I got when I went to AGPNY. My grandma's name is Margaret as well as one of my friends and my grandparents grew up in the thirties, so Kit had to join the others here. She is very pretty and her short hair adds a nice variety (it especially did when she was first released). I also like that she has dark blue eyes and the freckles add a nice touch. Kit's outfit is nicely made with the snaps, hook and eye and zipper. It is also versatile (My Kit is wearing her overalls outfit with the sweater on over that, like in a scene (or a couple) from her movie). It's nice colors on her, too. The barrette is adorable although it should definitely be kept out of reach of very young children and mischieveous pets. Overall I give Kit and A+! Her first picture Susie and Kit (in case anyone wants a comparison of #24 and Kit- I got Susie Christmas 2005). Mine are cousins.

I don't really care for the OG horses even if they look more realistic-they still aren't more realistic than the AG horses because they don't have "fur." I've always wanted Penny, ever since she came out, and so I finally bought her in Dec. 2007 for my Felicity because that was her ten year anniversery of being with me. So of course she needed her beloved mare. Penny is so soft and very pretty; Felicity looks perfect with her. The only thing I don't care for is that her mane and tail are much darker than the illustrations. That's okay though. She still gets a solid A from me. She can ride bareback too.

Can anyone take some photos of Addy's needlework apron? What does the back look like? Does it tie behind the neck?
I'd like to attempt to make my Addy an apron in that style (the embroidary? Well, I'll figure something out later and will have topractice on other things first).
Is the apron made of white cotton?

Although for Addy's period, the hat bow of the hat goes in the front, it also works being in the back, for other times. Addy's summer outfit is pretty! I had always thought it was more of a sandy brown color on off-white but it's berry colored. I guess I just hadn't paid too much attention. It's a lovely dress for summertime and looks great on Addy or even Kirsten. Mostly Addy though, lol! The brooch adds a nice touch as does the ribbon on the hat. I got this from the 2007 Over_18 holiday swap and I couldn't have been more pleased; Addy and I were so excited to get it, especially since I had just gotten Addy on my birthday (she was a graduation gift I got to open a semester early). Kirsten in the dress: Addy in her summer outfit: The hat sometimes likes to fall off so if you have Addy's hair down, you could try pulling a couple of the sides of her hair in front of the elastic-this also helps hide the elastic in photos. The boots add a nice touch to complete the whole outfit! A++++++++++++

My Ida Bean seems to have a lot of spunk! She's pretty and I love the little details-the earrings, red bow in her hair...She's definitely worth the money! Addy with her beloved doll!

I got Sari when I went to AGPNY in May. She's such a sweet little doll. My mom has a kit to make a rag doll and it would be a big Sari. I also have a yarn doll I made a when I was younger; she's dressed for St. Lucia day and I named her Sari, after Kirsten's doll (which shows that I've loved Kirsten since I first got into AG!) A+++++

This set is so adorable! I saw it and had to have it for my BB, Hannah. My mom got it for me for Christmas; Hannah is so cute in it. The bodice of the dress is green velvet as is the hat. The desgin on the bodice is nice and elegant. The little sash adds a nice tough and it is classic Christmas colors. The tights did snag a bit on mine when I put it on, but I'm not used to putting tights on a BB. The shows are shiny and red. I love the rocking horse for Bitty Bear and the book is a coloring book (I like the activity type books more than the board books). I do wish they still came with the 4 crayons but most homes with kids will have crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc. in them already so it's not a big deal. This dress is an A+++++++++++ from me-so sweet and soft; perfect for dressing Bitty up for the holidays!

When I first got into AG, I fell in love with this doll but never got her. Then, when I ordered Kaya in Feb. 2006, I finally ordered a bitty, too-my Hannah Olivia! She is so pretty and adorable; soft and cuddly! Hannah has the blondish, hard eyelashes and I wish they'd use it for some of the 18" dolls.

My Nicki just arrived today! She came from the MCM sale (thelight139 picked her up for me) and she is pretty! I love the color of her hair and the pretty curls. Her hair is a bit thin but not everyone has thick hair in real life and it's not so bad. It seems about the same thickness as #26 and it might seem thinner because of the way the curls are. At first I had passed her up (when she was available direct from AG in 2007) but it was for dumb reasons and I realized in Jan. that I really really wanted her. The outfit I'd rate a B+. The belt could've been detachable and the boots could've had lining but the skirt is pretty; I love the embrodiery, colorand it's soft. I don't really mind the no underwear since this is a doll, but I would've liked the bottom of the shirt to snap. I've seen shirts like that and they snap at the bottom. The eyelet is cute on the shirt though. I definitely rate Nicki and A! (B+ for the outfit; A+ for the doll). Picture time!

Revised version (plastic)
I got this a few months ago (yay for sale items). It's really nice and I love the design. I don't mind that it's plastic too much-the modern one is, too. I've heard mixed reviews about both since everyone has their own preference. This gets an A from me.

I won a PM #14 from ebay . Her name is Gabriella Starlight Cohen and she's so adorable. I've always loved this combination of hair and eye colors since I first got into AG and I'm so happy to finally have my own #14! She's got so much personality that you can't go wrong with her. Her bright blue eyes shine against her dark brown hair and her hair is great for styling. Gabriella: ETA: More photos of my pretty Gabby:

Finally Mischa is mine! After finishing my tech theatre project which took forever, it seems, my roommate gave me Mischa. Mischa is a joint Christmas, bday and graduation gift from my roommate (she paid $50, I paid $40 during the free shipping last month). She's my GOTY lookalike. Mischa is so pretty! Her hair is definitely more strawberry blonde than red, to me. Mischa's hair is very thick (I think it's the thickest of all my AGs). The layers are cute. Her meet outfit is pretty cute. Her skirt is a bit tight though and the sweater has the graphics starting to peel. If it all peels, I'll probably take it off when I'm home. Other than the peeling, I like the sweater. The shoes are also pretty cute. The tights are alright but I think they might rip pretty easily if you're not careful with them. So all in all, I give the doll an A++++ and the meet outfit is a B+/B. *Modified review a bit.

I got this with my Addy as a pre-graduation gift from my parents that I got to open on my birthday in Dec. I love the size of this quilt and is thick and beautiful, even if the top is appliqued. I hadn't really noticed the green on the border before I got it. Two dolls can snuggle up under it. My Addy is so happy to have her quilt. I give this an A! Addy snuggles under her quilt for a good night's sleep.

After the whole missing out on Kirsten's School Supplies, I had to get this asap (just in case) as it's my top item I wanted for Kirsten. The quilt is pretty although, it is smaller than Addy's Family Album quilt. I like that they use some fabrics from different outfits-it's neat that they use the original Kirsten school outfit print, with the divide signs. Since I don't have Sari yet, I'm not sewing the small quilt yet. It has to be saved so Kirsten can sew it for her doll. This quilt gets an A from me (would've been an A+ if it was a tad bigger.

I got this outfit when I heard that it came back online in mid Jan. for like a day. I had really wanted it but didn't buy it while Nicki was out. So I had to grab it. This outfit is so nice and has a lot of pieces to mix and match. The tank top is plain so can go with many outfits and the shorts are nice and can go well with many other things, too. The sandals seem to stay on pretty well (which we all like) and the belt is adorable; I love the print on it! The tie-shirt is a nice mix of pink and grey-green. I give this outfit an A+ for being well worth the money for all of the pieces! Kirsten is our model here as I do not have Nicki-yet. Full view With the tie-top not tied. Without the Tie Top The sandals-dollie toes don't hang off of them, either! And last but not least, I took ronniestar14's advice and used the belt as a headband. It looks super cute as both a belt and a headband!

This bag earns an A from me, too! It's cute and not frilly. It's too small to be a real messanger bag for a doll and is more like a messanger bag purse. I also wish the strap as longer but it is very nice the way it is. My Susie got this for her birthday from PrincessEmily's Lindsey.

This is a really cute shirt. It goes really well with the Petals and Plaid skirt and probably goes with many other outfits since black is pretty versatile. My Susie got it from PrincesssEmily's Lindsey, for her birthday, along with the AGP black hat and the AGP messanger bag.

I think they usually change every couple of years. While this isn't my favorite meet outfit, I do like the colors and it seems like it might be mix and matchable. The boots are a little better than I expected, which is good because I'm not a fan of boots. Here is my Marina in this outfit.

I like this set; it's so cute and there are lots of pieces to mix and match. The embroadery on the jeans is cute, as is the shirt and colors are bright. This one isn't the best quality because it was scanned onto the computer, but it's Susie's first picture I added a flower pin my mom made, to the shirt.

My rating: A This is a cute outfit, especially coming from someone who doesn't do sports and didn't like gym. The sneakers are adorable and bright. The colors go well together, in my opinion, and the backpack can hold the outfit and shoes and has a special puch for the foam basketball. I think you get your money's worth. I do sort of wish it came with a hoop though, but I suppose if someone really wants a hoop, they could make one.

I got this for Christmas and it's cute. I wish that it could actually make a sound though, like how the guitars can be lightly played. It can be a tad tricky to make a doll pose, playing the violin, but she sort of can-good enough for a doll. The case is nice and sturdy and the set has got some nice details, even though the violin and bow are plastic.
Most of the stands I've seen/used here and at home are black. I've used them to hold music while singing in class, but they're the same more or less.
I like the music books that come with the set; very cute overall. I'd give the set a B.

I just got it yesterday for Christmas and it's so cute! My Jess seems to have claimed it already! You can actually strum (lightly is best of course) and it makes a sound-I've never been a big fan of guitars but this is really well made and super cute!
