My adorable PM Molly that was rescued from the Bay early this year. This doll is pretty special to me. I got my first doll (Addy) when I was 10, and Molly was to be my second. Somehow she kept getting pushed back until I finally decided I needed her for sure this year (and I'm 20!). She's got the sweet, rounder face of PM dolls with minimal coloring. Some people think this makes a doll look kinda sickly, but I think it serves to make her look innocent. Her hair is a lighter brown. It's really soft (MUCH softer than I expected) and not at all hard to handle. Her eyes are a very pretty grey - like my friend's PM #20. And maybe it's just my Molly, but she seems shorter than my other girls... for a while her nickname was the runt. Overall, there's nothing I don't like about her. I'd recommend her to anyone who's looking for a Molly! A+Cute but blind without her glasses: Hair curled:

I love this dress. The color is prefect for spring and looks lovely on Addy, as well as man other dolls (Kirsten or any blue or grey eyed JLY all spring to mind). The material is light... it's thin enough to feel like an actual springtime dress, but it doesn't feel cheap to me. The plaid hair ribbon is lovely... it matches her black and white boots, which is nice.
I got this quite recently, so it came with neither kite nor flowers, although I'm hoping to get the kite.
Overall, I'd give this an A-, would be a solid A with flowers, A+ with kite.

My friend has this doll. A PM one from 1995. She's beautiful... the blonde hair and grey eyes are a unique combination. Her hair, however, is a lot drier and beat up than my Wendy (PM # 12, also from 1995.) She's still a wonderful doll. I don't have pics atm, though.

I picked this up at AGPLA today... loved it from the start. I don't have Rebecca, but the boots are for Sam, and my modern girls will share the outfit.
My only problem with it was that the buttons on the sweater were really difficult to undo. I ended up pulling it over my doll's head. I'm thinking I missed something really obvious there.

I actually liked this dress much more than I expected I would. My Addy is late PM, and this fits fine on her. The color is a really lovely purple. This looks like something a slightly older girl would wear, which is something I liked about the historical outfits that came out with this batch. The hat is really cute and good if your Addy is looking to wear this to church. I don't have pics, but E of A did a thorough job with her's. A- from me.

Adorable set! This is really versatile and great for mix and match. The little jacket is just love. The top is sweet (I remember requesting the one for girls), and the pants fit well on PM girls as well. I actually also love, love, love the little shoes... they slip off a lot, but they are SO darn cute! Wendy is actually wearing the shoes at the moment with a blue tank and bermuda shorts from Liberty Jane. A

I love the jumper and blouse. The top is really versatile... agreed that it looks AMAZING on Mia. I like the jumper as well. This, I think, looks best on girls with brown eyes (as purple so often does). The fabric feels nice, and the lacing is wonderful. It's a really nice detail, and I don't think I'd like the set as much without that. The boots are evil. I never use mine... I'm not a fan of hateful purple boots. The jumper is tight on PM dolls, but it will close with enough... elbow grease, shall we say? (Sounds a little better than brute force.)

I love this. It's adorable, and it's a longer, relaxed fit kind of top. I've had Wendy wear it as a part of a casual after school type outfit, as well as with shorts or sweats for pjs. It's really roomy on Mattel girls, but it doesn't look bad. On PM Wendy: On Mattel Quinn:

^I agree... I was never a fan of the glass-eyed ones.
I just got Mini Julie (a friend picked her up at AGP for me) and I like her quite a bit more than I figured I would. Her hair is just SO silky and soft! The little outfit is well made, but something about it makes the mini doll look stockier than she is. But she's adorable anyway... the little jeans kill me, and her face is really sweet.

As a Barbie collector and not a Julie collector (lol), I've always liked this. So when I saw this go on sale for $5 I bought it for me, not any of my dolls, lol.
This is amazingly accurate to the real thing, which, believe it or not, was actually really popular at the time. I'm 20, and I remember having a Barbie styling head (albeit a 90s crazy one, not a 70s crazy one) when I was younger.
This isn't terribly useful to the dolls, but for someone like me it's pretty cool. B.

This is an adorable dress. I like the fabric... it's not too thick, but doesn't feel cheap. Because of the color and fabric, it'd be great for spring. The shoes are also very cute and versatile. This dress also looks great on Molly, IMO, and she's who I bought it for. It fits my PM Molly just fine, even with her slip and undershirt underneath. The shoes fit too. A for sure. Well worth the sale price of $14 for which I bought it, and probably worth the full price as well, now that I have it.

These are great. They really do look much cuter in person. My Molly loves hers... they seem comfy too. And they're also more versatile than they appear.
A from me. Great shoes!

This outfit is so darn cute. Looks SO much better in person than in AG's pics... even the old ones. Mine is PM (as is my Molly) and it fits fine in the waist, but the pants do seem shorter than I'd like, but that's probably just me. The shirt I like a lot. It feels comfy. This set, like a few of Molly's things, is great for mixing and matching. I actually had this outfit months before I got Olly Molly. Great set! A from me.

These are really cute. My only gripe is, like others have mentioned, the thin straps. My Molly is a little clumsy and has a bit of trouble standing in them at times, but they usually don't effect her balance. A- to B+, depending upon how much the straps bug.

Wonderful outfit! This looks so sweet on Addy, and I think it looks even better in person than it does in pics. The colors really flatter Addy, but I could see this looking good on quite a few dolls. I like that the material the dress is made from is really good for spring... it's thick enough to protect against a little wind but not so thick that it'd be impractical on a warmer day.
Another A.

True, wealthy homes at the time typically did have running water, but wealthy and classy women such as Grandmary would have preferred bathing in the privacy of their bedrooms where they would dress. This set is adorable and very detailed. The mini book is definitely one of my favorites, since I adore The Wizard of Oz. A

These boots are nice. Mine are PM and my doll is Mattel, so they have a pretty roomy fit. None of the buttons have come off, but a couple of them feel pretty loose.

I got this outfit from someone here on the board quite some time back. I specifically wanted the sweater, as I've got a girly who loves purple. I agree with others that have stated that this is great for separates but seems a bit much for a young girl to wear. Perhaps, like Nibs said, for a more special occasion, but I can't really imagine "Going Anywhere" in it. =P I don't have the tights or boots, but I find the boots really unrealistic and rather yucky. I'm not a fan of purple boots (even those with the newer jumper outfit... I adore it above the knees). I'll give it a B+.

Just got this a while back. I don't have pictures atm (there are a couple sitting in my camera though, lol), but I can say it looks adorable on Nicki. The dress is short, but awfully cute. The material is thin, but I wouldn't necessarily call it flimsy. The jacket is adorable and versatile and very high quality. The purse is cute, but is really more for aesthetics than for actual use. The shoes I love. I didn't have any trouble keeping them on her feet, and they're also versatile. I'd give it an -A overall. Nice little set. Edit to add pic for good measure. =)

Bought this set from a board member. It's really quite cute. The food pieces are typical AG food fare (I have Sam's lunch... I would consider these sets comparable). The napkin is nice and sturdy. The tin is also great. Nice size, very sturdy, and easy to have Addy "hold." The green ribbon on the handle is adorable... one of my favorite little touches. And, of course, like everyone has mentioned, this is important and quite integral to Addy's story, so extra points there. A-

I like this set. It's hot here in Cali most of the time, so Quinn is able to where these a lot. The material is thin, but doesn't feel cheap. They seem like they'd be comfy. While the unfinished hems are strange, it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would.

I love this outfit! It's so versatile and cute. And it doesn't appear dated at all, nearly 13 years later. I don't have the headband or boots, but I have the red vinyl jumper boots, which I think are fairly similar. This works really well on PM and Mattel dolls. This outfit is really more timeless than a lot of the other JLY school themed sets, especially the more recent ones. Here's Nicki modelling it:

I got mine on eBay a while back, and unfortunately it didn't come with shoes and socks. But what is there is great. Fits great on PM dolls, and isn't too big on Mattel dolls either. Wendy (PM AGOT 12) is wearing this at the moment with the shoes and socks from the Plaid skirt and sweater outfit.

Mini Molly is so adorable. So like the ful sized girl. Her glasses are easy to lose, but we've been pretty careful to hang on to them. For a child, I can't see them staying long though, lol. For that fact, A-. On the other hand, Wendy loves her Molly dolly.

I have a PM 12 off of eBay as well. No issues with hair or anything else about her! I think she has a lot of charm. And as far as eye/hair combinations, the blonde haired brown eyed dolls that came after her are less unique IMO since she was first. I give her an A. The only thing taking away the plus is the typical PM stiffness of the hair which is to be expected to some degree. Wendy spammage! ^It's just apple cidar, she swears And as if that weren't all enough, here's a whole album full from her trip to the spa... in my bathroom.

I got this set as a gift from my aunt shortly after it came out. All these years later, and it's still a favorite. The bracelets especially are constantly mixed and matched with different outfits. I remember once I had my doll and all the clothes and accessories over my friend's house and her then 5 year old cousin was stretching the crap out of one of the bracelets and it didn't break or even get loose.

I've had this outfit for quite some time... it was one of my first purchases from ag.com, if not my very first. I agree about all the pieces being basic and timeless. I think that the many layers would look dated now, but as seperates, it's an awesome set to have around. I would definitely recommend picking this up if you can find it on the secondary market for a good price. My grade: A

I bought this coat a while back and just opened ot up last night. I like it a good bit, but there are a couple of minor issues. The fabric feels cheaper than I had expected, and not as soft. It does leave a good amount of room for a dress underneath... at the moment, Sam is wearing her talent show dress. The coat fastens easily with three snaps, and also has some lovely decorative frogs on the front. The mittens are adorable. The hat is quite a bit big, but I love the style and shape of it.

^Ahh, yeah, awesome wii indeed. But yeah. I bought this one new from AG all those years ago when Addy was my only doll and I had her reinvented for a while as a modern character. I really loved this at the time, but I never used it with the dolls... I used it for the organizer feature. I didn't have a cell phone yet and I actually did used to call my friends (unlike now, lol), so storing their numbers was cool. And I really wanted one of those colorful iMacs, so this to me was a mini one. My grade: A-
