I have this set and purchased it without purchasing either of the two holiday dresses as I already had a dress I wanted to pair it with. I absolutley love it all, the jacket, watch and nutcracker. Is it overpriced - yes, but isn't just about everythng AG makes overpriced?

The accessories are great! Much nicer than I had even expected. I did see the chair as most of the accessories were in the smaller box containing the chair. The chair is really cute and sturdy. Seeing the bed up close at AGPNY, I really like it. For those of you who want a "doll room" you really get it with this set. I give the entire set an A+. I think it is worth the money.

I just received Meatloaf today and I love him. I had seen him at AGPNY and immediately fell in love but I was not in the market for antoher pet. Well I never thougth AG could make a dog that I loved just as much as Coconut but they did. He is well made and has a hard body, but his covering is very soft. He feels like my friend's Shar Pei, which he kind of reminds me of in a way. He has the sweetest expression on his face. A+

I received Julie's bug a couple of days ago and I love it! Even though the car is plastic, it is very well-made and HEAVY. It's heavy enough to make you think it was made of metal. Even though I wish the doors opened and the windshield wipers worked, it is still really cute and my girls can't wait to have fun washing and riding in it. I think it is well-made despite the fact that it's plastic. The plastic is a lot nicer than that used for the OG jeep.

I have this set. I purchased it to go with the pajamas - but my real reason was to get the mini Coconut - who is to die for. He is just too cute for words. It was worth the money for me.

I saw this doll two weeks ago at an American Girl fashion show at a local museum. At first I did not know which doll she was -the little girl who was carrying her obviously picked her to be her mini me as the doll looked just like her. I finally realized which one she was and I must say I was taken aback by just how pretty this doll is. She was wearing the new Petals and Posies blue dress, which is also a lot prettier in person. That outfit comes with a beautiful blue barrette, which the little girl used to hold the side bang back so you really didn't see it. The mother had obviously done something to make the doll's hear look very full as opposed to slick and close to the head. She really is a brown-haired, brown eyed Kit. Very pretty.

I have Argos and in general I like him but the hair around his mouth and snout is really all over the place. I had to "groom" him a little and cut some of it back. I wish his hind legs could bend like McKenna's Cooper.

I received mine in the mail today and am very pleased. It glides very easily when opening and closing. It is not too heavy and the lace is just beautiful.

I just got this xoutfit (w/o the wreath) a couple of weeks ago for my Cécile. I wanted her to have an outfit to match Addy's plaid summer outfit to use as clothes the girls put on when they are playing together. I absolutely love it!

Well, add me to the chorus above. I love this set. Mine just came in the mail this morning. Really pretty - a definite A. I wish the fruit were not joined but that is only a minor flaw.

My set arrived yesterday. The pics above speak for themselves. It is much heavier than I thought, which is a good thing and very well-made. I really like it and agree that it gets an A+.

I just purchased two of the middy dresses off ebay and I am absolutely in love with them. I am using them on Addy and Cécile as their school uniforms because I once saw an old picture circa late 1800s/early 1990s of African-American school girls attending Catholic school in New Orleans all wearing white dresses similar to this - minus the navy insignia.

I saw this at AGPNY last week and agree that it is really one of the cuter PJ sets. I did not see the slipper/mini Coconut set, which looks just adorable from the pictures above. May have to go back.

I agree that this set is really cute but I think $28 would have been sufficient. The boots were a little hard to get on at first but after a couple of tries (I guess stretching them a little) they went on fine. The umbrella is adorable but even with the little plastic strap it is still difficult for the doll to hold.

I purchased this yesterday at AGPNY. I really like it. The sweater is really a beautiful deep purple color. The only thing I don't like is that the leggings/tights are a little short as I plan to pair this with the rainy day set that is pictured so often with this outfit. For that I give it an A-.
ETA: I actually think the outfit when paired with the rain set looks better without the leggings.

I am unable to post a photo but I have the storage tower and Coconut and when I tried to place him (Mine is a he) on a couple of shelves, he did not fit. His head sticks out about a half an inch or a little more.

I love Rebecca's bed. I have seen it in person at AGPNY and feel it is worth the money. I hate gold, but it does not look bad to me on this bed. It is heavy metal and the bedding is so soft. Ihad purchased Samantha's bed for a friend's daughter's Christmas present a few years ago and did not feel it was very good quality. Of all the historical beds that have been made, I like this one and Cécile's the most. Hope this helps.

I just received mini Ivy in the mail today. I love her. Her hair is so smooth. She seems to be a little thicker in the waist than my mini Kaya and mini Addy, but she's still really cute.

I saw Cécile's bed at AGPNY and I totally agree with Sweet Repeat's assessment- beautiful and extremely well-made. When the pictures of this were first shown online, I thought the bed was gold-trimmed. Poor AG photography at it's worst. I had no idea the bed was a lighter colored wood. It is also a nice contrast as it really does not look like any of the other beds. My girls are modern but this bed as well as the rest of the furniture in Cécile and Marie-Grace's collection makes me want to start collecting for them. I am originally from Mobile, Alabama and am familiar with the DAR house. I have seen some of these style antique pieces, growing up there. ETA: See pictures of my two Cécile beds below.

I totally agree with askmkids. I saw this dress at AGPNY two days ago and I fell in love with it. Very well made and beautiful color. I was not prepared to purchase it then as it was not in the budget, but I am planning to get it next payday.
Really, really stunning.

Ca you talk a bit about the hair elastics? They seem a bit big? Would they work on the dolls with short hair like 28? The ones on the doll in greenchilesupergirl's post are not the ones that come with the outfit. Those are very small.

I saw the Cécile doll yesterday at AGPNY and I must say I was taken aback by just how lovely she is. I say this because I was never particularly fond of the Sonali mold. But she is a gorgeous girl and so are all of her items, I mean there was nothing that I did not like. For the first time since becoming involved with AG, I find myself seriously considering collecting for a Historical (I've been a modern girl to date). She definitely gets an A+

I got this today and am very pleased. Very nice quality. It is pricey, probably because of the weight of the birdcage. I still give it a solid "A".

I just received this in the mail today from an ebay seller. I am so relieved because so many people in the review section said the outfit was too snug and the arms on the sweater too short. But I loved this outfit and decided to go ahead and get it anyway since I saw it brand new for a reasoanble price. Everything fits very well and the arms are not short. I am very pleased with how it looks against my doll's skin tone - she is a customized #44 with brown eyes (medium skin). I also like how the snowflake pattern under the bottom of the boots will leave actual imprints if you take the doll out in actual snow. Can't wait! This was a factory resale item, which I just read in another thread are not supposed to be resold but - oh well. I give it a definite A.

I had used Kanani's stool but without a back the dolls don't sit well just on the stool. So far, the chair that works best and I guess I'll have to go with that is Kit's swivel chair.

I have this set and love it. I know everyone hates plastic, but overall it's not bad. The plastic is heavy and sturdy. I love it because this was my era and we had a dinette set similar to this in the bright yellow color. I use it in my cafeteria scene for my dolls' school.

I purchased the newer tub for my niece. It is a lot smaller than the previous version, which I actully like. It will take up less space and go well with her "Mommy gotta go" bathroom set that features a toilet and sink connected. The soap dish doesn't fit well so I took it off completely and superglued it to the wall in the shower of Lanie's camper. Overall I like it and I like the pale pink bubbles better than the blue. My only complaint is there seems to be less bubbles. You can still see some of the dolls private parts. Eek!

I just purchased this but I think it looks nicer without the turtleneck. I love the searing blue color but I don't care for the silver shoes. I plan to replace those, still it was a good buy for a PWP.
