I've liked this outfit for a long time, but hadn't been able to find it at a good price. I finally found an ebay deal right after Christmas. Ava-Grace (my modern Marie-Grace) has claimed it because the ribbon on the dress perfectly matches her hair ribbons. The skirt wrinkles easily and I need to iron it, but I still think it's cute! I agree that the shoes are a nightmare to get on the doll's feet, but once you wrestle them on they are really cute!

I try to only buy clothes for dolls that I would buy for a little girl. This would be a perfect Easter or church dress for either. The material is not as soft as it looks and is actually sort of scratchy. It is a really gorgeous dress, though! I love the emroidery and the fluttery sleeves. Elena, my modern Elizabeth, claimed this dress for her wardrobe.

I will say that Marie Grace's face mold is not my favorite, BUT it looks better in person than it does photographed. My daughter is already getting another doll for Christmas this year, but I couldn't pass up a sale with a brand new doll for $50 especially since my daughter has expressed interest in MG. My favorite thing about this doll is her eyes. I also like the original braided hair style, but I'm not sure how I feel about the pin curls. I love Elizabeth's pin curls, but they are much more dainty than Marie-Grace's "bushes". Marie-Grace in a modern outfit: Her hair: I'm sure there is some variation with the wigs, but my Marie Grace has the same hair color as my Marisol.

I bought Kailey as a gift for one of my daughter's friends. I bought her used from ebay. The little girl thinks that Kailey is Julie after seeing Julie in one of my catalogs and I haven't corrected her. The hair and eye color is very simillar so the biggest differences are the hair style and the face mold. Kailey's lack of bangs or a part is unusual and if Kailey were part of my collection and I could keep the braids looking neat, it would be fine. The girl Kailey belongs to plays with her a lot and the braids either get messed up or taken down. I don't care for her hair without the braids. With that said, the braids are fairly simple to put back in. Her meet dress is really cute! A few shots of Lacy (Kailey) with Rose (My daughter's #39).

This is one of my daughter's favorite pieces. We don't have the shoes. We use the shoes from the Real Me meet. We also sometimes pair the shirt with the purple capris from that meet outfit. The shirt also looks cute with the jumper and boots set in place of the green long sleeve shirt.

My #21 was purchased used and her pincurls seem to have been brushed out. I almost purchased this doll for my step-daughter nearly three years ago, but decided to get Lanie so that she would have some books to go with her doll. I've always been drawn to #21, and in person she is lovely. I did think that Lanie was the prettier of the two. I love the unique color of her hair. The length and the texture makes her hair so different from any of my others. It looks good up or down. A lot of people here have mentioned how versatile she is and I have to agree! This girl is timeless! Her hair looks really cute in pigtails, too! I had intended to use #21 as a sister for #38, but after getting overwhelmed by dollies and underwhelmed by this one in particular #21 went to live with another board member. I think I would have liked her better with her pincurls.

I've wanted this outfit for a really long time, but it always seems to go for a lot on ebay. I got lucky and found it and another outfit I've wanted in a lot for a pretty reasonable price. I love it and it does have a lot of mix and match potential! I think this looks particularly great on the hazel eyed dolls.

My daughter's #38, Trixie was purchased from a board member. Her ears are pierced. She is the only doll either of us own with bangs or freckles. I adore her hazel eyes. Her hair is very silky, although the color is more of a strawberry blonde than a true red, it is a realistic shade. A shot with the #21 I had purchased and intended to use as Trixie's sister. #21 didn't stay with us long, but #38 is a keeper!

I think these are really cute an I love the detail on the trim. The color is beautiful! I don't like the little buttons on the top. I can barely manage them as an adult and I don't see them being easy for a child to button.

I got this as part of the cyber monday sale as an extra outfit and never expected it to be my daughter's favorite, but it is! This is the easiest outfit for her to get on and off without my help. The corduroy pants are super soft and the shirt looks like something a little girl would actually wear. I actually like the shoes a lot, they're unique, but I doubt we'll find another outfit they'll go with. A+

I really like this! My daughter received this for Christmas along with her first doll and several outfits. I purchased it off ebay. The bedding is reversable, it has the moon and star theme on the other side. The only complaint I have is that the battery connection is a little touchy. After moving it to her bedroom from under the Christmas tree, I had to remove the battery door and wiggle them around to get the lights to come back on. I think two or three dolls would be really cute displayed on top. If anyone is interested, the stickers peel off easily (a little too easily for my taste).

I have the same type Ginger as Cobaltcat. She came without a collar and with the Ginger's Spice of Life Crafts book. My Ginger was purchased from ebay. My daughter has renamed her Pirate. I think you can figure out why! I think she's a really cute kitty!

I think this works really well with the pants from the current meet outfit. Very cute and at a good price.

This is the first outfit I liked enough to purchase new from AG at full price. It looks so soft and comfy and I think it would work well with every complection and hair color. On #25 On Marisol

I ordered Lanie as my step daugther's just like you doll. (She still has a a little trouble reading so I thought getting a doll with books might be beneficial). I took the hairnet off and picked through her curls. (I had no problems with her headband except it being a little tight). I'm fairly certain that we'll be using Tink's techniques for cleaning up her hair. Her meet outfit is cute, but I especially like her shoes and dragonfly underwear. We have a bit of an obesession with dragonflies at my house! She is a beautiful doll, but not my favorite because she is a blondie.

I took my daughter's #39 out of her box to show her daddy before I wrapped her up for Christmas. He was really impressed. He said that she looks so real and that her hair is exactly the color of our daughter's. It takes a lot for a doll to impress a man! I think she is a beautiful doll. Her coloring is so realistic. I love the feathered eyebrows. Her hair is very sleek and shiny. Her eyes are the most amazing shade of blue. Edited to add photos! Finally After a year of vigorous play with a four year old, our Rose is holding up really well!

I do not like this outfit! I'm not a big fan of purple to begin with. I also don't like the idea of a long sleeve shirt with cropped pants. The neckline doesn't flatter the doll at all!
