I agree that the camera looks fake. I tried to open it to get the roll of film but it's really hard to open. I didn't open it because I thought I might break it. Plus, the button that you press down to take a picture doesn't work anymore. I take good care of my things so there was no rough play involved. It just stopped working.
The fins don't fit my dolls. I can get them part way on the dolls feet but not all the way. The snorkel fits perfectly. Here is my custom Katelynne saying hi.
I love the little guidebook. It fit's on the doll's wrist perfectly and there's a little snail charm too.

Scooter

I love this scooter! It really rolls very smoothly, although mine is old and has started to squeak. I love how small it folds up and I have not had any problems with dolls falling off mainly because of these great gloves.
Here is Lindsey wearing them. I had to roll up her sleeves so you could see them.
The scooter folded up:
The handles have a Velcro slit so she can hang on.
You grab the little lever to unfold it and turn it down so she can ride it.
Her helmet had a butterfly graphic and there are holes on the top so her head won't get wet with dolly sweat! It clasps with plastic under her chin.
If you can believe it, she and her entire collection can fit on the scooter!

I have Lindsey's entire collection but the pencil seems to be missing. Anyway, the bag is thin but it has two zipper pouches and the straps Velcro making it really easy to put it on a doll.
Her bag holds everything.
Here's the computer closed. The batteries are dead and I have not tried to change them since I got it.
Here's the computer open where you can slide in a pretend disk.
Her notebook is very sparkly.
Here's Lindsey with all of her school things.
Here's a pic of her carrying the bag with all the supplies inside.

I love Lindsey's meet outfit! There are so many pieces and they're all mix and matchable. Here's her whole meet outfit laid out:
Her skirt is sort of funny. The Velcro is where the pockets are.
Once it's velcroed the pockets are real.
Here she is with just her tights, skirt and t-shirt.
Here she is with the hoodie on and zipped up:
And her favorite way of wearing her outfit is with the hoodie open.
I also have not had any problems with her boots.

I got my Lindsey used from a neighbor 3 years ago. Her hair has been cut even shorter than originally! She still looks ultra cute and she often plays the part of a boy in my doll skits on my blog. I keep telling her that sometime in the far future I will sent her to the DH to get her original curls back. As far as the rest of her goes, I don't believe she has gray skin. At least it looks fine to me. Her body tag is spelled correctly and her limbs are really loose from play. I probably play with her the most out of all of my dolls. I have yet to find an outfit she looks bad in.

I also love Kirsten's scenes and settings. I own Molly's, Felicity's, and Samantha's, and while Kirsten's is not my favorite, I'd still never get rid of the book. I bought it on ebay mainly for the winter scene but I've used the cabin scene a whole lot more than I thought I would.
The first page with the ships has so much detail.
It stinks that the cabin scene has a Christmas tree but I have used this scene all throughout this December and January for a whole bunch of doll stories.
The classroom scene is kind of plain. I haven' used this scene yet. Tess needed to stand against the wall to keep the "page" open.
The store: I love the colors in this scene.
And finally the winter scene. There are lots of little (and big, there's a moose) animals hiding in this scene. I love how I can use this for modern dolls like I'm doing here with Lanie and Nicki, or with Kirsten and the other historicals. Samantha and Nellie can't wait to go ice skating on the creek. I forgot to take a pic of the back. It shows a map of Kirsten's world.

I have two glass eyed PC Felicitys and I'm not happy with either of them. I bought the first one brand new when I was a girl and I loved her. Then as I got older and got more 18' dolls I played with my minis less and less and finally packed them up in a box and stored them in my room (not in a basement). When I went to take them out very recently I was horrified to see my Lissie had turned green! Josefina (glass eyed) also has a greenish tinge to her cheeks.
I picked up another glass eyed Felicity at a rummage sale and thankfully she does not have the green disease...yet. Her eyes are wonky though. Which bugs me a lot.
Here is a comparison between the two dolls: You can really see how horribly green Lissie 1 is.
One other thing, green Felicity's shoes came unglued. I think it's because I left her under the sun on a hot day once and the glue melted.
If I were to purchase/try to find any more mini's I would be sure to stay away from the glass eyed ones.

This outfit contains a long sleeve shirt, a skirt, tights, shoes, a jacket and a cap. It also came with a pennant, but I don't have that. It's a very nice outfit with lots of layering capabilities. I love how the shirt has long sleeves so the dolls ugly joints don't show. And the tights hide the (even uglier) leg joints. The shoes fit over the tights very easily. They stretch with elastic. Here is Logan without the jacket and cap: The jacket is lined. And has the Hopscotch Hill name on the back: I found it a little tricky to get the jacket on over the shirt because the sleeves bunch up. I have some AG outfits that have Velcro at the wrist so when you slide the jacket on the doll, the sleeves stay down, but this doesn't have that, which is probably good, because that would look silly with the shirt by itself, so you just have to play with it some. Here's Logan wearing the whole outfit. And just for fun, Logan and Hallie ready for school together.

Logan

I got Logan as a friend for my Hallie. I love how they are able to pose so much more realistically than AG dolls. They have skinny all vinyl bodies and wigged hair (same quality as AG). Logan's was styled in two pig tails. I don't have her hairbands, so here she is in her meet outfit borrowing Molly's hair ribbons. She came with a bug backpack and journal (which is also missing). She's so old, she can't stand up on her own, and I read on this board that it's very difficult to restring them, so she has to use a doll stand. Close up of her backpack: Her meet outfit consisted of a long sleeve striped shirt, overalls, blue socks, and red shoes. A body picture. Her joints are pretty visible so she looks much nicer in long sleeves and pants.

I also really like Kaya's face. My Kaya goes back and forth between modern and historical so I have taken her hair out. It is definitely more coarse than hair like Isabelle or McKenna, but I wouldn't say it's textured. I find it easy to style and not very difficult to take care of as long as you're careful. I took lots of comparison pictures, but please excuse the dolls outfits, they're wearing their Halloween costumes!
Her long hair:
Here she is with Sonali. Sonali is much darker.
Her hair is darker too, and of course, curlier.
Here is a comparison of length of hair with Kanani. I'm not sure if some Kayas have longer hair than mine, but Kanani's is about an inch of two longer than Kaya's.
Addy's hair is also longer than Kaya's.
And finally a picture between Kaya and #11. I have a really old #11 (1999) and their hair texture is very similar but #11's is black, whereas Kaya's is a rich brown.

I got my Sonali used on ebay but she is still soooo gorgeous. Her hair is thick and perfect to style. You can really do anything with it: brush it, curl it, put up, in braids and she looks great no matter what! Her face is so stunning. I don't seem to notice that her body is orange. And yes, her meet shoes are sort of showing some wear and tear but they're not disintegrating like some old AG shoes and boots.

I got Lanie because she's as close to being my mini as AG can get so far. Her hair has really neat highlights that the curls seem to bring out. Her face make up makes her look very sweet, but also attentive. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that the side bangs make her look a little dorky. But I'm not really a fan of side bangs anyway. Her hazel eyes are yellowy brown compared to the dark green that some dolls have. I have not really touched her curls since she came home from the AG hospital in March. They seem to hold up really well. It's August now, and she's already been on some wild and crazy adventures. I think wild curls fit her book personality.

Hallie

I just got an almost like new Hallie on ebay. Even though the seller said she's barely been played with, her limbs are pretty loose and her head flops around. I'm still in love with her. She has such a cute little elvish face. And even though her limbs are loose she can make so many real-life poses because of her multiple joints. That's the main reason why I got her. I just barely got her to stand for this pic: I couldn't get her to stand anymore, but here she is with Emily.
