Eh, what can I say? It's lotion. I have such a love/hate relationship with any lotion depending on the season, and this one is no different. It smells very nice (Totally Tropical scent), but other than that nothing really distiguishes it from the generic aloe lotion from Walgreen's. Full-size bottle Travel-size bottle

I went through a phase where my hair would stick up on top and I was obsessed with AG B&BW products. Combine the two and you have a wonderful thing. I went through two tubes of this during that time. It was that good. The smell was different from the lotions and was great! It really held hair well and didn't give it that greasy look.

As with all B&BW things, there were gift sets of products come the holidays. AG was no exception. They had a variety of gift sets. This set was wrapped in a snowflake cellophane and included a mini body wash, mini lotion, a wash poof, and an insert related to real beauty. This set was scent themed to Strawberries & Cream. Very nice as a trial set if not wanting to purchase full-size bottles. It didn't make a bad gift either.

As stated in the Care and Keeping of You, one should always comb wet hair, not brush it. So of course AG sells their own comb. A good buy at around $3, this comb was quality. It's a nice green with the AG name across the top. I still use it after 5 years.

One of my favourites from the AG B&BW line, the Talk to Me Lip Balm was great. It came in a variety of flavors and even had an SPF 15! It was in a nice little tube, with a cap that was half the length of the tube. I got the watermelon flavor and it was great.

When I was younger, I had no room for much furniture, much less the funds to actually buy some. This was one of the pieces I got and for well worth the original price. ($24?)
The set is comprised of a sitting pillow, a flower rug, a journal, and a mini gel pen. It was all coordinated to go with the Flower Trundle Bed. The pillow is a nice pastel blue, with light green trim. On the side is a pocket that holds the journal and pen. While it looks great and is very well made, the doll does look somewhat awkward when sitting against it. However, I do think that it goes excellent with any bed and blanket set. I had it with the Jeweled Tiara bedding set before, and now have it perched atop the bunk beds with Kit's Quilt and Pillow set. The journal and gel pen are simple. The journal has "Dreams & Wishes" on the front in a silver font with stars, while the gel pen is a light green. The rug is actually my favourite piece, as it is a real rug, albeit a very small one.

After complaining that there were no actual winter coats for MyAGs, I bought this one, becasue I figured I'll be getting Kit someday.
I love the classic lines of this coat. The style can transcend time. I love it for the 30's and I also let Molly use it. I evokes some Harry Potter-ness, perfect for Europe, at least the UK. I even have a coat like it, but it a light blue. It's AG's version of the pea coat. The buttons are fairly small however, and patience is needed when getting them on, but especially with that darn belt. It's hard to get the belt through the buckle.

Had I not gotten these in a great lot on craigslist, I would have never had them. While I think they are great quality and everything, I just don't like the way they look on my dolls. The metal frame looks so much better than any current plastic glasses, and really gives a realistic touch to them. They remind me of my first pair of glasses! The frame is stiff, but if need be, as with regular glasses, you can bend them to fit your face/preference. The lenses are awesome, in being that the do seem unbreakable. Thick and completely see-through, they're very good quality. The case is cute, I just hate the tag that seems so out of proportion. It's made of a very soft purple felt.

Best historical accessory ever! Love this one. I'm not sure what prompted me to pick this up last summer, but I did and I'm so glad. I love all the detail put into it and how it relates to Kit's story. I mean there's even a picture of "The Schnoz"! The best part is that it dings when it gets to the end. I get a kick out of that.

I love this set for all the pieces and details. Plus, it's an actual accessory set.
All the items are adorable and seem so true to Kit. I can just imagine her going around town preparing to write her article! I cut the photos apart so they would each be individual and then store them in the drawer of her typewriter box.

My first mini doll. I can't really see anything special other than she's in a LE outfit. The painted face creeps me out. I don't really like this other than the fact that she is LE. Definately one of my weaker AG purchases. I think I was just yearning for my full-size Samantha Christmas dress, which is in storage.

One of my best AG values so far! $5 during the summer sale got me a great set.
I love all the little pieces and the colors of them. The menorah is heavy metal and I've had no trouble taking the candles in or out. The gift box is cute and can hold the candles, bracelet, velvet pouch with dreidel and gelt. The candles are perfect and are just like the ones my friend has, only his are in green, red, and purple. The bracelet I think is just fine. I love doll jewelry and this is no exception. The pouch is great because it can hold the dreidel and gelt, which are adorable. Except you can't spin the dreidel! The bottom is too smooth and wide for it to be a top.

For the rodeo-doll in your life! : Nice, simple straw hat that adds some country flair to every outfit. I actually got this months before I got the Rustic Ranch Outfit just because I wanted my doll to share my love of country music. It's a neutral color with a braided cord around the top and goes under her neck. Stays on the head well and fits like a glove.

I'm not sure why I bought this. Then again I was younger and probably just wanted the lunch. It wasn't like I tried to play school with one doll.
The set is ok. The lunch is the best part. Well made and everything. The binder is so-so. It's only glued together fabric over cardboard so it's starting to come apart. The folders are simple but the stickers are a mess. They loose their stick after a while so they're just falling off the sheet now. The math book is cute, but honestly I like to have my dolls learn calculus, or at least pre-algebra as I was in 4th grade, not elementary arithmetic.

The best accessory set matches up to the best outfit ever. Gotta love all the pieces in this one. You can go through all the steps of baking, including the actual baking! (Just flip them over to get a tan "unbaked side")

Perfect for the summer and all the exploring my Molly does! The outfit is adorable, especially with the little tie. I do wish it came with the saddle shoes though.

Love this! Great complete set that really complements Molly's collection. Gotta love the mix-n-match possibilities and the second pair of saddle shoes in a different color. And the sweater is so adorable, and is in the best color ever to come from AG.

What a great outfit. My cousin actually got this at the outlet, had it for a while, then said I could have it. So sweet!
I love the mint green of the dress and the story behind it that says Ms. Gilford made the dress. I saw it as a funny contrast to Molly's recital dress, which was said to be bought new. I love that the dress can trancend time periods; I had Petra go to Samantha's birthday party wearing this and she didn't look out of place at all. The clips seem basic. I had an issue with mine as the appliques were coming off the metal barette. I just glued them back on with tacky glue and they are fine. The shoes don't exactly fit PM feet perfectly- I've had to stretch the straps to close. But the dress fits all dolls great and looks great!

While I normally don't go for dance outfits, I just had to get this for my eventual Emily before it sold out. And I love it!
The whole outfit is made very well and is adorable. The pieces are plentiful and match well. While my dolls don't wear this a whole lot, I think it can look adorable as a short dress, or maybe even some skating dress to pair with Molly's Skating Outfit.

Great value, super sturdy, easy to set up, and overall amazing. I love that they are so basic, as then they can be styled with different sheets or pillows, not to mention stuffed animals! Two dolls fit nicely; the best value for AG beds, as they're two beds for the price of one!

I don't have a lid for Kirsten's Trunk, and I don't have enough floor space either. Elevated bunk beds!

I love this outfit. It is simple and versatile, while being somewhat classy. I have the basics of the outfit as I got it in a lot; the shoes, pants, shirt, and tank. I love how everything goes together so well, yet can be mix-n-matched with so many different things. The quality is great- fits all types of dolls. The shoes are especially of great quality; sturdy and cute. The wrap top is nice in that it has no velro; it snaps on one side inside and then the other side crosses over to tie on the end in a double knot.

I'm not sure about this one. I didn't see a thread for it, so decided to make one. I'm also not sure if it was offered at any other AGP than Chicago, as I got this around 2002.
Well, it's a black and red doll-sized backpack. The straps are thin and adjustable, letting the doll put it on with ease. There is a real pocket on the outside, though small, and "American Girl Place" is stitched along the bottom. The red material seems like a vinyl, and the black nylon. The bag opens on the top with two sets of snaps closing it. The sets criss-cross on the top to secure anything in the bag. While not terribly huge, the bag can hold small doll items such as Jess' Waterbottle. Personally, I like to keep a Presidential Dollar Coin in it. Overall, great quality and highly recommended!

I'm not sure why I got this, but it's in great condition and at only $10 off craigslist I thought it would serve some purpose in my doll world. Eventually.
It's pretty cute and made of satin-y material. While nice, this means one has to take care with the velcro on the blouse and jumper. The shorts underneath are adorable and really add authenticity to it being a dance outfit. The headband, while pretty, is so tight on my dolls' heads. I've had to stretch it out a little, making sure not to go too far or snap it.
(I don't have the shoes as the seller did not have them to include)

I just have to say: I love these jeans! Finally something normal, that people wear everyday and goes with everything! Normal jeans, worth the price, and they fit perfectly on both PM and Mattel dolls.

The set is very nice, and the best part is its versatility. As it's a "coat" it can go over any outfit, which is killer, as AG coats are always needed for these frigid Midwest winters. But the fact that it's a sweater means that it's worn indoors as well!
I think it is of very good quality, with festive details that are not necessarily Christmas-specific. The only thing is that it's a pain to make it stay on a hanger.

I have the Meet outfit only, as it was a PWP in Spring 2011 for $16. Complete too.
The outfit is so-so. I like it but it is by no means a favourite. It looks nice on other dolls IMO, just not Chrissa. The dress is a cute cut, and the shoes are nice. I love the ribbons on them. The bracelet I'm not sure of. I like that it's a small accessory, but come on AG! It's just a piece of ribbon!

Received in a craigslist lot, I'm now glad i have an extra pair of undies for when Kaya is in modern clothes and not traditionally commando.
The underwear is a cute white/off-white pair with a small screen-print butterfly on the left side. The edges are lined in an orange striped elastic.
