As I am getting things ready to sell I found that there appear to be two kinds of kneepads! All this time I thought they were elbow & knee pads, but Meg's Guide says they only came with knee pads. Here are the front and back views:

I like having furniture that is taller than the dolls and this is.
Anyone know where to get similar replacement knobs?
I use this armoire to hold all of our JLY pajamas. The slippers & caps go in the drawers. It would be perfect for hanging bathing suits as it is short in the hanging area.

It seems to me that the wand and tiara are made of flexible metal covered in plastic. The stem is just bent into a loop which the doll hand fits through.
The handle on the wand is flexible. Perhaps the end of the loop was once very lightly glued to the wand to make the loop. I wouldn't have thought so, but someone else thought the handles on these were broken, so perhaps they have had doll hands placed in them and one is currently bent more to accommodate that. They are easily reshaped.
One of these is without streamers and the other has 4 streamers that are longer than the wand and one that is about 1/3 that length. So, my guess is that they came with 5 or more streamers.

dcl mom: I have put a dowel across the chiffarobe from the side handle holes, but I love the look of the plastic clothes storage bag in there & the dowel interferes with that... do the 3M hangers work NEXT to the plastic thingy or did you go all the way across? Thanks!

This photo was taken to show that the Japanese eraser ice cream is too small for AGs, but Marisol happens to be wearing the Fashion Show '09 outfit! (Thanks to mstangledweb for picking up the outfit for me as we were out of town that weekend!)

Our washstand holds a shelf from Goodwill that was painted just the right color. It has held up very well.

We have a set in size Small and a set in size Large. Both have a problem with the lowest frog closure on the shirt. The cross piece has fallen out on the catch probably because the lower portion of it has come unglued and untwisted. The problem seems to be in that rather than using a one string "knot" they used one string looped twice around another string fashioned into a flattened loop. This created a T shaped catch, rather than the normal rounded knot and was probably done to keep the shirt from coming undone easily. However, it seems they didn't stitch the 2 strings together at their intersections, and instead relied on glue. Here's how the frog closure was made: I'll insert photos of what has happened and then will post the best way I find to remedy the situation.

DD is 7 and wears a size 6/7. She has the Bitty Baby Silver Bells dress in size 6 and it fits loose and nice. All 3 of these pieces are size Large. The shirt runs short. Other than that it is a nice soft material. In this photo she has the skirt pulled up more than usual so that her belly doesn't show. (This daughter does not have a long torso but she does like to wear her skirts under her belly.) We will not be keeping it. The shrug appears to choke the girl and the doll. Unfortunately when unfastened the fur falls behind the girl's neck and looks very sloppy. The sleeves don't fit as tightly as I expected them to, so that's great. DD does like this and will keep it. The fur is very soft. The skirt is ADORABLE. It will be a great mix and match piece for my daughter since purple is her favorite color. The material is very soft. The skirt is fully lined. It's her favorite piece of the entire Pretty Plum order.

The collar is very very soft! I thought it would be very annoying and DD wouldn't even put it on. As you can see it didn't seem to bother her at all! DD is 7 and very long in the torso so I got a Size Large in the sweater. The sleeves are VERY long, but she feels more comfortable with this because she knows her belly won't be hanging out! The sweater is also very soft. There is a nice triangle of dark pink satin across the Vee of the sweater so that the sweater is not too low cut for girls when the collar is not worn. Although she normally wears a size 7 pants, I got a size 8 skirt and I'm glad I did. It is none too big. It's beautiful though. I love it!

DD is 7 years old and very long in the torso. Hoodie size Medium I thought she would not like the shirring at the neck of this hoodie. I never noticed it in pics online or in catalog. Turns out she loves it. Crop pants size 7 These run the same as Marisol's pants. Adorable. The stitching is lavender. Tank top size Large (I'll take another pic) Because she is long in torso she needs the large. I suggest you purchase normal size for your child.

DD is 7 years old and wears a size 6/7. Size Large dress fits perfectly. Collar bothers her a bit, but I will tack it down. She's just used to wearing clothes big & loose. Very nice material, fully lined. Zip back.

The halter runs short. Buy one in the next sizes when it's cheap. I put elastic around the skirt and it will last forever. DD has worn this for 2 years and it still looks new.
