I got a NIB Isabel from my sister for my birthday. She's a beautiful doll. Even the box is beautiful! Isabel has brown hair which is covered by a gold hair net, a crimson velvet gown with a white stiff petticoat underneath, beige socks and black shoes. Her gown is trimmed with lave on the collar, sleeves and bodice. She also comes with earrings, a necklace and a waist girdle which holds her keys, mirror and pomander. These dolls are very nicely made and the stand well in the doll stand that comes with them. Reading Isabel's story gave my Isabel even more personality, and the book contains a "looking back" section which describes the historical significance of her outfit and accessories. I give Isabel an A+.

Molly wears this sweater in the movie Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front. It was introduced in 2006, the price increased from $24 to $28 in January 2012, and it retired with Molly's archival in December 2013.
Ice skating was as popular a pastime in Molly’s time as it is today. Prepare Molly for an afternoon at the ice rink by dressing her in a hooded jacket with snowflake embroidery and a red flannel skirt with matching underwear. Includes trading cards.
I was surprised to see no review up for this yet! Anyway, this is a really cute outfit. The red skirt and matching spankies are really cute and well-made. They are made of a thick flannel/felt material with a smoother underside. The skirt closes with velcro and the spankies are just pull ons with elastic. The jacket is made of a more fleecy type matierla with embroidered snowflakes and closes with buttons. The buttons are actually not difficult to open and close, a rarity for AG buttons! I really like this set, which I bought for my Emily and she looks just adorable in it. I give it a solid A.

Does anyone know if there's a way to get Molly's name off/out of the front of the bag? I want to buy the school supplies for Emily, but I want to either put her name on them or have no name at all.

I lovelovelove the colors of this swimsuit on my Beatrice! Only, it was awfully difficult to get it ON. Is it supposed to be really tight? I love that the cap is made out of swimsuit-material, though. Very nice detail, that was. --- KERI Yeah I had the same problem! I tried to put it on my Kit and I could barely get it over her shoulders and it doesn't close right in the back... :/. I love the sandals, the parasol and the sunglasses a lot though! I am really disappointed that the suit doesn't really fit my Kit though. She's not even a PM and isn't that chunky! B; because of the way the swimsuit fits.

Overall, this is a very cute and well made outfit. The tiny overalls are adorable and sturdy and I love the little sugar bag patch on them- so realistic! The shirt is very cute and well made as well, and the hat is a nice touch. I don't like it as much as some of Kit's other outfits, some of her dresses, because I don't think she would really be able to wear it much other than for the purpose it was used for in the story (it wouldn't really be accepted as everyday wear) but all in all very cute, and one of the few outfits that's more of a "cold weather outfit" of hers. I give the overalls an A-.

I just got the night table and its beautiful. I love the colors, the design and especially the two drawers which are great for storing things! I agree, it does look fantastic next to Kit's bed as well. A++ from me!

In general, I really like this set for the accuracy of the books, pencils and pen and the craftsmanship of the pencil case and strap. I first got the set in 1992, but since I wrote in both the notebook and report card as a child, I bought a new one this year (2007). It is interesting to note that the books on the 1992 version had rounded spines, but the newer books have square ones (looks more realistic this way, IMO). The only thing I don't like about the set is that I find the books and case tend to slide out of the strap easily, making it hard for Samantha to carry them. A- for this reason.

I actually don't really like this set. I have a hard time getting the cape to sit right on Samantha, it always looks kind of funny on her, and the ties used to close it are kind of weird. I also have a hard time getting her hands to sit in the hand-holes right. The gaiters are cute, but not really essential. I give it a C+.
(I might add though, I got mine second hand so maybe there's some issue with the cape I'm not aware of)

I got this coat for Christmas and I love it. Its very pretty and the colors look nice on Samantha. I like that its thick, because here in Chicago its a very realistic thickness for a winter coat (as I'm sure it would have been in Mt Bedford as well). A from me!

This is my favorite of all my Samantha outfits. Its one of her originals, its very realistic for the time period and its very versatile- for play, but also could be worn for school if needed. I love that its so simple. I like it much better than her meet outfit, in fact I think this dress would have made a great meet outfit for Sam instead of the taffeta dress.
A+ from me!

I just got this dress (along with the mob cap, noapron or kerchief) and I really like it. Its very simple and classic, but seems very accurate for the time. Its the kind of dress Felicity can wear anytime, unlike some of her fancier dresses. The only problem I have with it is that since its made for PM dolls its a little loose fitting on my mattel Felicity. A; would add a plus if it fit my doll better.

Released in 1999 for $12, retired in December 2014.
Includes three pairs of knee socks in red, black, and tan and a pair of soft beige shoes.
Josefina’s Shoes & Socks JXOA $12 (price increase to $18 January, 2012; retired December, 2014) Includes three pairs of knee socks in red, black, and tan and a pair of soft beige shoes. Released 1999
I just ordered Josefina's Shoes and Socks along with her party dress and spencer jacket. I was very disappointed open the box and find that the shoes have PLASTIC bottoms! The top of the shoes is a very nice white leather mocassin, but the soles are brown plastic. The socks are nice, thick socks in red, brown and black.
But for the plastic soles, I give the shoes and socks a B.

This is one of my favorite of Josefina's outfits. I love the simplicity of it and its everyday wear value. The white camisa is simple, much like her meet camisa, but the skirt is a gorgeous blue color and it looks really cute on her, especially with the sash. A from me!

I just got this set off ebay (along with Josefina's Christmas dress) and I just adore it. The skirt is very pretty and I love the pattern, the shirt is one of the few long sleeved camisas I've seen for Josefina and the flower embroidery at the top is beautiful, and the green ribbon and the sash are adorable as well. A+ from me!
