I bought a #33 with the new meet outfit last week and I immediately took it off her. I don't like the boots and I don't like the texture of the pink details on the skirt. It feels cheap and like the strings would rip. The shirt is actually much better in person (IMO) and both the shirt and skirt have some mix and match potential.

I am extremely underwhelmed by this bed. I was super excited for it from pictures, but in person it is just meh. The bed itself seems well built, but the metal parts on the top of the loft are a bit odd. The colors (the purple on the bed and the purple on the metal part) don't match, which really bother me. The bedding feels very scratchy and cheap. The miniature books and hamster are nice but a lot of the other accessories also feel cheap like the bedding. I'd give it a B, just for it's redeeming features. ETA: Upon closer inspection, I'm revising my review a bit. Most of the other accessories are really nice and detailed. The only one I don't like is the trophy, which is very plastic-y and fake looking. The bedding, besides the comforter, is pretty nice. The comforter itself definitely leaves much to be desired. The bed also falls apart every time I pick it up... kind of annoying but not an issue if you leave it in one place. B+

I bought this set solely for the panda bear, who I have fondly named Cup. It is a great set, but probably a bit overpriced. However, the detail is great. The panda stuffed animal is very, very soft and looks so cute tucked under a doll's arm. The cast has nice details, such as the padding inside and the texture. The pink crutches are sturdy and adorable and the bandage is a cute touch. A, A+ if the price were lower!

I am so in love with this outfit! The sweater is amazing and has so much mix and match potential. It looks great on my #49. The leggings are a bit hard to get over the doll's butt and the skirt is a taaaad short. The flat are VERY nice and don't feel cheap at all. I love the hair clips, too. This set is a great value for the cost, especially compared to the price of other outfits recently. A

I have her from when I was a child. She's my childhood mini-me. I probably wouldn't have bought her now if she was new, but I love her for nostalgic reasons.

Aye, where to begin? I am very torn on this set. Overall, it is very cute. It's a good value for the money as it comes with so many pieces. The shoes, however, are a big issue. The material is really thin and flimsy and very hard to get on PM doll feet. Right now my Molly is wearing her left shoe but absolutely cannot get the right one on. The sweater is nice but a little thin and kind of scratchy. I do really like the skirt, it's thick and nice quality.
Grade: B+, only because it's good value for the money. B if we're ignoring price.

The boots in this outfit are great! They are reason enough to buy it IMO. The shirt and scarf are also nice. My only complaint is the pants. They're fine with the boots but look pretty silly on their own with different shoes. I can also see my Lanie's underwear through them, which I don't really like. I do, however, think the other parts of the outfit make up for the pants.
Grade: B+

I love this set, but it is not worth retail price. It is still a must-have for Lanie's collection, in my opinion.
I disagree with others about the bug jar. I don't find it to be too plastic-y and I like the detail on the lid. The binoculars are nice and have a snap in the back on the cord which is helpful because of Lanie's difficult hair. The book is also very nice (as is expected from AG book replicas) and has great detail inside. I really like the jacket as well. The quality is great and it goes great with her Nature Outfit.
Grade: B+, A if the price were a bit less.

I like how the pieces of this outfit all look good on their own. I love the button up shirt -- it's adorable! This outfit is also VERY early 90s, which I think is cool. The leggings do look slightly odd though. B+

I think the rating for this outfit would definitely change from person to person. I LOVE this outfit, but only because it brings back good memories of when I was younger. It is the outfit my doll came in, and my friend and I used to dress up our dolls as "twins" in it. So, I'd say if you're looking on eBay for retired outfits to buy, this isn't necessarily worth it, but it's a keeper for me. I still give it an A.

I REALLY like this set. I bought sets for my best friend and I at AGPNY. In case anybody is wondering, they fit older girls fine. I am 5'6" (my friend is 5'8") and they don't look awkward on us at all. A+++!

I am glad that the pointe shoes for this outfit are realistic. I don't like how the new ballet outfit doesn't have ribbons that tie like these. The colors being unrealistic annoys me, but overall I like this.

My best friend has this outfit. It's very cute and realistic, as well as good quality. She's had it for 8 years and it's held up well. A

I love love love love LOVE this outfit. When I was little my doll probably wore this about 60% of the time. The boots are cute, although after having it how ever many years since it came out and having my doll wear it a lot, the rubber on the boots came off on part of one. It's easily glued, though. The jacket is so adorable. The pants/overalls are fine. I really love the inner tube. Dolls can easily sit in it without falling out. A+!

I actually like this outfit. Although there are some bad points (...interesting... colors, unhemmed sleeves) I like it overall. I don't think the sleeves would come undone unless you're really rough with the shirt (I know, kids... but if you're that rough with your things maybe you shouldn't have an 87 dollar doll anyway). I really like the cords, as well as the boots. I give it a B+!

I LOVE this outfit! The tie top is really cute and looks adorable both buttoned and unbuttoned. The shorts are nice, too, and have real pockets. The sandals are my favorite part of the outfit.. they look really good with the outfit. The clips from the Gala outfit also look good with this one. I wish they made a girl sized version of this outfit! A

Have either of you had problems with the straw snagging the doll's hair? Nope! It hasn't snagged her hair at all.

I LOVE her hat! At first it seemed overpriced, but it is definitely not. It's good quality and SO cute! The suede cord is a nice touch. It also looks like it'd go with all of her outfits. A+!

I love her hair! I think it looks a lot better once you brush it out a little. Her freckles are absolutely adorable. A!
As for her meet outfit, it's not as great. I really don't like that the shirt is a bodysuit. I know it's probably to keep the shirt tucked in, but... why?! Especially when she has a skirt outfit! Nicki needs underwear. The skirt is a bit flimsy, but I like it. The boots are cute, but do seem a little cheap to me. B

I really love Kit's doll. She's really adorable, and just like Kit would have wanted. The fact that her gloves, jacket, and hat come off is a nice touch. The little tie is too cute! My only complaint is that the hat tends to fall off a lot. I still give it an A.

I actually think making the Scottie dog into a magnet was a good idea. A pin would put holes in the fabric and would not be practical for AG's target age range. I like the bow, as well as the shoes and stockings. It seems like a good deal for the price. The dress itself is okay. Nothing spectacular, but not bad either. B+

Pajamas

This is my favorite outfit for Nellie. I am glad there are real buttons and no velcro. I am actually glad she got pajamas. Pajamas were introduced around 1870-1880, and although they were for men, I don't think it would be completely unheard of for Nellie to have these. Nellie was a worker girl, after all, and took what she could get. Also, couldn't Aunt Cornelia and her "new fangled ideas" have influenced these? Anyway, back to the pajamas themselves. I really like the color and the embroidery. The only thing I find annoying is that mine seem to be permanently creased. I like the slippers, they seem very sturdy and the pom poms are cute. A

I like Nellie's doll, but I've been having an issue with her collar. It keeps popping up and I can't get it to stay flat! B+

I like this outfit a lot. My only complaint is that the things (I don't know what to call them) on the shoulders of the dress really get in the way of her hair because of the length. Also, the bow for her hair is kind of difficult. I still give it an A, though.

I agree that the cover is stiff and kind of awkward if you actually want to tuck Samantha in. You have to put her arms over it to get it to stay flat. The other thing I don't like about her bed is that if you have cats or dogs the fabric seems to attract hair like a magnet. I don't let my cats on my doll furniture and somehow there is still hair that I have to clean off it every other day. Besides these things, I still really like the bed. It seems very sturdy. I also like the pink ribbon and the matching pillow. Still, I wish there was a bottom sheet, although I don't know if this is historically accurate.

I am not sure why people are saying she looks easily breakable. She doesn't seem very breakable to me. I love all the details on her, the nutcracker, and her poseable body. I give her an A+!

Jip is adorable! Although he's not technically the right scale, I still think he looks nice with Samantha. He's very soft, and his little lopsided face is actually very cute. A

I just received this trunk in the mail today. I LOVE it. It's a nice size, but I would have liked if the shelves were a little bigger. I can fit a lot of outfits on the hanger because of the ribbon that holds them in. A!
